Overall 4.5 stars. The house/villa itself needs a bit of checking up on like under the back deck and head the beat in a carpet nail on the stairs. Also the master suite backs into the edge of the property and you can hear the traffic outside very clearly all day+night, it was not the best for sleeping once people really hit the road in the early morning.
The rest was great. Large beds and TVs, full kitchen and grill, patio seating was nice. But really it was about the outside time. Hardly anyone else used the beach areas so it felt like a private island beach. The pool was an average size and was overlooking the ocean where boats depart so that was also beautiful.
Overall, family loved it, they definitely want to return soon.

The condo is beautiful and the property/pool were a good location. The things that we felt were not 100% were there was no extra towels for showering. Four for 3 people for nine days. There were no extra blankets foe the beds and it was very cold a couple of nights (heat was out but it did get fixed) The bathrooms had no hand soap to wash out hands with. There was only one trash bag for the entire 9 days. There were no curtains on bathroom windows or in the master bedroom. There should be some kind of description that States you can hear through the traffic in the master bedroom all night long expression Li early in the mornings. People should have some kind of knowledge that it's not a quiet room. We were a little surprise that there was absolutely no condiments at all salt or pepper or anything to cook with and I guess if we had known this ahead of time it would have been easier. And can someone please lower your racks in the bedroom to hang your clothes on because the average person is not over 6' tall. The place was beautiful and just wasn't prepared for having people stay there it seemed like it was a last minute decision and everything was removed other than the bare necessities. It would have been nice if there were some recommendations/listings for restaurants nearby or things to do. Ultimately, we had a good time!

Our family of four stayed one week. The beach house was perfect for a family, very clean and quiet. The pool was busy and the beach front limited in size. It would have been awesome if our unit had kayaks. We purchased a fishing pole and the kids fished from the docks and had a blast. The community was very friendly and the area restaurants were very good. The whale harbor fishing charter is highly recommended and local restaurants will cook the fish for you. It was an experience of a lifetime.

Really liked the community and the convenient location. Would have been nice to have information in the room about local attractions. Should include bathroom amenities and a broom!

This holiday was flawed because of the almost last minute change by the agent to the contracted accommodation.Anglers Reef is a private gated community of around 30 properties. It is located on Route 1, MM 84.9. Some properties are located on the highway and can be noisy. Its palm tree lined small access roads which lead to the small swimming pool and the shore make this a safe and peaceful destination. The properties vary in size and price and all have just two bedrooms with a sofa bed in the main living area. Not ideal for that third person. Because the properties on offer are managed by an off-site office located in Duck Key, an hours drive away, it is not so easy to sort out problems, although there is an efficient phone service available at the property. We had a major problem after our son could not travel until the day following our departure. A message was left for us, but because of an earlier mix-up with Villa allocation, it was left in the wrong Villa so we did not pick it up and therefore were not there to meet his flight. It cost 250$ for a taxi ride from Miami airport to Anglers Reef. There is a bus service but apparently not late at night.Major upset apart, this is a beautiful destination, peaceful and verdant and the property is comfortable and well maintained. For groceries, go to Winn Dixie. For sundowner cocktails, World Wide Sportsman; for a meal of your own catch, go to Lazy Days.

Anglers reef is a beautiful condo community with individual townhouses available to rent. The community has a beautiful pool, waterfront area with a small beach and marina. The property is user friendly to check into, and there is an office number open during the day if you need anything. Our town house was very comfortable, clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make our own meals, high end finishes.. Stainless and granite. Furniture was nice and comfortable. Our specific TH 117 needed touch up paint and the carpet was stained, living room area rug needs to be replaced. TH 117 was also right next to the communities waste water treatment plant and the smell was overwhelming outside our TH. Still we were very happy with our stay.
