Beautiful property! Beautiful vaulted ceilings in great room. Had a great breakfast on a huge Lanai overlooking the ocean. Very accommodating and friendly Hostess.

Bed and breakfast home was beautifully furnished. Room was comfortable; private bathroom updated and very clean. Host very friendly and accommodated us with early breakfast. No parking fee, but driveway very steep so not for faint of heart.

What a special, peaceful place this is. Rebecca went out of her way to make my stay as pleasant as possible, pointing out many nice restaurants close by. My favorite was Shaka Tacoz by far. The grounds of the property are covered with a lush and verdant collection of interesting plants that fascinated me for evening walks in the garden or up the driveway. The driveway is easy to manage once you realize there is a flat spot at the top that allows you to safely enter traffic on the main road. The room I stayed in was pleasantly, though not fancily apportioned, and was more than adequate for my stay, which included working nearby. I love the location, being away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas, though they are close by if you need to access them. I can’t wait to stay here again.

Safe and quiet.

The view was great. The room was large. I was a little disappointed that the owner did not let me know that breakfast was not included with the lower level room. She said it was because the lower room had a kitchen, but I was not made aware of this until after I arrived.

Lovely place, gorgeous art, spectacular view from very large shared balcony, terrific hosts, amazing breakfast. Absolutely nothing to critique—even the little dog was adorable.

Great breakfast. Friendly owner. Convenient to get to places…

Kona Palace is a comfortable, hillside haven convenient to many of the southern Kona Coast's natural attractions as well as shopping. Becca, the host, is full of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. She serves wonderful breakfasts on her lanai with a view that extends to the western horizon -- sunsets on the ocean. The rooms are private and open to a large, nicely furnished common area. The house is in a quiet residential area on a large property. We especially enjoyed waking to birds singing

Beautiful place. Amazing view. Rebecca and Keith were warm and welcoming hosts Highly recommend!

Great location! Close to the best snorkeling places. My favorite was Two Steps beach 10-15 mins drive from the property. Can highly recommend morning hours snorkeling there. Fantastic view of the captain Cook bay from the property.

The view is amazing on a porch and you have the living space and your room and bathroom private. She’s a nice lady with a good soul and she’ll cook breakfast and eat on a balcony with a beautiful view. It’s hard to get there at night a little the first time but just follow the direction. It’s a nice spot to stay.

Kona Palace is a beautiful property and the owners, The owners Rebecca and Keith are very nice, personable and accommodating individuals. There were 3 of us on bicycles riding around the island and they went out of their way to make our stay memorable and relaxing. The view from their homes spectacular and breakfast was great. I would highly recommend anyone wanting accommodations in the Captain Cook area stay at the Kona Palace. Victor

Beautiful place, beautiful room, beautiful views and a terrific host.
Our flight to Hawaii was delayed for 3 hours so arrival was in the middle of the night. Rebecca was incredibly accommodating and welcoming.
Breakfast on the balcony was wonderful!
A terrific B&B for short or longer stays..5 stars all around.

Kona Palace has a magnificent view, is well maintained, and feels cozy. Breakfast was tasty, and our host was accommodating with our uncertain check-in and check-out schedule. I appreciated the nice little touches like the checkout chocolate and hand drawn maps to local interest points, which we took full advantage of going to a nearby Sunday farmers market. I'd definitely recommend Kona Palace to a friend.

Great place to relax and get away from the crowds, but stay close enough to so many fun activities. Amazing view with whales joining for breakfast just off the coast!! Thank you to our hosts, Rebecca, Keith for the tips and directions and pup, Oreo for the snuggles. Mahalo

We loved the lanai with the incredible view, the beautiful room and location, and the delicious breakfast with fresh fruit ant something to please a nearly vegetarian (me) and meat eater (my husband). The host was welcoming, helpful and genuine. It is hard to find, but love the privacy and the host sent a photo to help us find the place

We stayed at Kona palace for one night. It was a great experience with the host Rebecca and her dog Oreo. The house located on the bottom of a steep slope so driving was a bit tricky. Yet we were able to do it without 4WD. And because of the slope, we were able to witness hte most stunning sunset from the terrance, along with the beautiful landscape and Pacific ocean. During the night, the sound of coqui frog was eminent, which made it a unique (in a good way) immersive tropical living experience. Farm-to-table breakfast prepared by Rebecca is healthy and delicious. She also graciously packed a whole bag of fruits for our rest of the trip!

Set in an elegant lovely home, so comfortable and clean. Amazing hosts - great company and conversation at breakfast. Breakfasts were excellent, great coffee, fresh local (some from their beautiful garden) tropical fruits. Lots of special extra touches like nice beach towels and robes. View from the lanai is icing on the cake! Can’t wait to return.

Bottom section of house with gorgeous view down mountain overlooking ocean. A 5 minute drive down to community park and beach or take a left and drive 5 more minutes to Two Step beach. (Great snorkeling there if you swim out 300 plus feet). Great communication with owner. Large room. Stove and refrigerator are outside under covered patio area which is great for eating outdoors. Garden below patio has a ton of beautiful flowers and fruit trees.

Rebecca is amazing. Her and her husbands property is located viewing the ocean with great sunset views. The place is very well taken care of. The driveway wasn’t tricky if you follow her instructions, stay to the right, and drive slow. Breakfast was great all homemade by Rebecca using fruits on her property too. Great conversation and company.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Kona Palace. So much so that we ended up extending our stay. The host was very nice and accommodating and always made sure we had what we needed. The views from the lanai are stunning, the bed was comfortable, the huge double shower in the king room was awesome, and the homemade breakfast was very tasty. We did use the hot tub one night which was also great. She does have a small dog on the property but he was in no way a nuisance and was actually fun to play with. Overall we highly recommend staying here and hope to return in the future.

We enjoyed our stay and were sorry we were only there for 1 night. The driveway is steep and a little tricky but once there the property, including the room is very nice and the view from the Lanai is simply spectacular. Rebecca is a great host and served up a wonderful breakfast.

Wonderful location overlooking hills and ocean. Particularly we liked the clear view of the stars at night. Tasty breakfast with home grown and local fruits. We met another family also staying there, who are friends of the host, and they were very nice and kindly interacted with my six years old son. We had an enjoyable stay.

We stayed here just one night. Great person to deal with and a very nicely furnished home. What a view, its a little out of that way place that is great for a layed back start for our vacation. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us. Anyone staying here will not be disappointed.

Loved the place. The house is beautiful and the room was spacious and comfortable (we stayed in the queen room). There is ac but we just slept with the windows open all night and listened to the frogs. The hot tub looking over the ocean was a treat. Breakfast was great as well, eggs and sausage, toast with lillikoi butter, fresh fruit, coffee. The house was only about 15 minutes from the harbor where we took a snorkeling trip to Captain Cook bay. So nicely located. And made a great launching site to drive up to Volcanos the next day. Would have liked to have stayed longer.

Is it not a good place for more than one night. Don't choose this place. We stayed 6 nights, they didn't change the blankets once, they only changed the bath towels once. There's no privacity. They offer free breakfast. We took it for 2 days, until we saw how she prepares the juice. She squeezes oranges full of mold, we asked her why she does it like that and she said there is not problem, that it does not taste bad and she has always done it that way. The frige that is available is dirty and moldy.Your dog make pee in our room.
