Very friendly greeting when I arrived, along with some good pointers for things to do in the area. The room was comfortably spacious, and I really appreciated the little folding chair and table, which made for a decent laptop work area. I chose a room with a shared bathroom - I thought this would be much more inconvenient than it was. The bathroom was only shared with one other room, and I never had to wait for it (and I'm not aware of the other room waiting on me, either); there was also another bathroom up the stairs if needed. The mini fridge was very convenient, and a decent tea setup. The biggest negative was the bed; the springs created uncomfortable lumps in the bed. Mostly I was able to get comfortable, but there were a couple of times I woke up in pain. Other smaller negatives: I wish there had been more places to hang clothes, rather than one peg I had to crawl across the bed to reach. It was also about a 20 minute walk to get to the main area of town, and longer to get to the beach or coast - still perfectly doable, even in wetter weather, but I wish there had been some more things to do closer to the place. I could also hear doors slamming and people talking; other guests were generally quiet and kept pretty conservative hours while I was there, but I could see it being a nuisance with louder guests. Overall though, especially considering the price I paid, I was very happy with my stay and will return if I'm ever back in Aberdeen.

Aberdeen was my niece & I's 3rd stop on our Scotland train trip. Unfortunately, we had received some terrible news from back home in Alaska and weren't in the highest of spirits. Rona and Joe welcomed us into their guesthouse, and were so kind, supportive, and absolutely wonderful. We ordered breakfast both mornings (10 pound) and did not regret the high quality home cooked meals. The room was not what the pictures in the listing looked like; it was even better. The bed was very comfortable, and the ensuite was updated and had everything we needed. I loved the comfortable chairs that were set up in the bay window alcove, as well as the beautiful colors and feel of the room. It was very clean, and had lots of things that we would need, like towels, hot water heater, cups, coffee, tea, dishes, and mugs. I would 10/10 stay here again.

Was very well received on door, nicely briefed about surrounding and conditions. Clean room with all the basic stuff present. Bathroom was sharing but had no issues. Enjoyed Scottish half breakfast. Looking forward to stay another time.

We arrived at the hotel to find that the owners were away for 9 months and we were let in by a neighbour who owns the hotel opposite. In all fairness to her, she did a good job of trying to make us welcome, but the lack of a cooked breakfast, a dining room and the alternative provision of a so-called hospitality basket, which didn't even count as a continental breakfast in our opinion did not endear us to the place. Also, we expected parking facilities, not an area where the whole street was a metered zone between 8am and 8pm with high charges. The neighbour did offer advice as to where we could park the car for free, albeit 2 streets away. Our bedroom was clean, but devoid of any of the toiletries which one would expect and the towels were rough. 3 of the 6 bulbs in the chandelier light fitting were defunct. We felt sorry for the neighbour, who was handicapped by a fractured toe and we had much respect for her, but we were glad to leave after 3 nights.

Large room. Modern renovation. A bit disorganized at checkin as i had asked for a separate bed which had been acknowledged in email discussion. However 2 of us made do with the king bed which was very comfortable. Street parking between 8am and 8pm which requires coins. There was apparently a parking pass from the accomodation which had gone missing.

Had a very pleasant stay with Rhona made to feel welcome and at home. Nice mix of friendly inclusion and respect for ones privacy. More like a boutique hotel than your average BnB. well situated within walking distance of town centre, bus route at top of the road. Would highly recommend.

This was an absolute gem. Our hosts were exquisite and made sure we were well looked after. The rooms were so warm and cosy and unlike most places I stay in Scotland no expense is spared here on the furnishings. Breakfast was tremendous as well and we were offered as much or as little as we wanted which is refreshing. The company of our hosts was very enjoyable and it was actually hard to get up and leave to make the train. Ill look forward to my next stay here.

Hannahs guesthouse is a lovely place to stay. Rhona and her partner are very accommodating and helpful, and make delicious breakfasts! The bed was a little too soft for me - but my partner loved it! The guesthouse is about 20 minutes walk from the train station/city centre, and less than 10 minutes from Duthie Park. We would recommend and would stay here again if in Aberdeen in the future!

Quiet, very nice breakfast to order. Host recommended nearby botanic garden, because we didn't have much sightseeing time. She drove us to the train station in the morning. Nicely decorated. Windows are well-insulated; trash trucks came through in the AM, could barely hear them.

This hostel is one of the best choices in Aberdeen. We often travelled to Aberdeen. Especially for families it is a great opportunity. Spacious rooms, which allows the little ones to play in. Lovely neighbourhood with a park nearby and a few minutes away from the shopping malls.

A very convenient location. Rhona gave us some good advice about what to see. Room was surprisingly nice with outside door to sitting area. Lots of treats available if you wanted them. Having breakfast in host kitchen was friendly.

Excellent staff and amazing room. Greeted at check-in and informed of all kinds of things to do to get us acquainted with the area. Very clean, stocked with coffee, tea, milk, and treats to ensure you are good until dinner. Close to a lot of things but easily accessible. They provided a permit for street parking as well. Breakfast was made to order and included some local fair. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Super friendly owners. Fresh breakfast.The room is super clean, we were at the top room. It is near the city, good to walk in 20 minutes. Restaurant can be found next door, but it's better to walk 10 minutes towards the city. Parking was a bit difficult, but we found a free spot, 5 minute walk from the guesthouse. Best to stay 2 nights our more. Thanks for the wonderful time!

We arrived prior to check in time, Ronda accomodated for check in with security code emailed to get the key and enter on our own. Everything you could need for a relaxing stay, suggestions for tourist, restaurants all listed out. Tea / coffee / hot chocolate. Continental breakfast & snack items and a light home made breakfast sandwich.
