It was my first time in Antigua, we wanted a nice hotel well located and Good Hotel Antigua delivered! It is very well located, plenty of restaurants around, easy to walk around and the hotel was just stunning !The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and modern. The only caveat I noticed in all hotels of Guatemala is that the sound proofing is terrible so we can hear people outside and outside your door, which is a shame as this hotel is close to perfection to me.

Loved the hotel, very quiet and safe. Staff super friendly. No AC in the room but everything was perfect!

I had such a nice stay. Wonderful staff-they were so helpful! The hotel is really nice and modern. The bed was very comfy. No AC, but it wasn’t needed. The room is equipped with a fan, which I sleep with one on every night. I would definitely stay here again the next time I return to Antigua.

Staff are so friendly and helpful and the property is beautiful. I love the social mission. The location in Antigua is quiet but close to everything. There was the sound of music sometimes coming from the hostel next door, but in general the place was peaceful.

My stay in Antigua was fantastic! The staff, especially Paulo, went above and beyond to ensure my trip was seamless, from accommodating my requests to scheduling my transportation. Their dedication to supporting local schools is truly admirable.
A heads up for future guests: Most rooms don't have AC, so be sure to check your booking details. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and charming atmosphere.

My stay was great. Nice room and bathroom with plenty of natural light. It was a nice surprise especially the restaurant, Saul, being a part of it. No TV's but that was fine with me as I had my iPad if I wanted to watch anything.

only would suggest security handles in the shower area so as to avoid falls.

Our stay was wonderful everything was perfect. The restaurant was fabulous. The front desk was great. My only suggestion is to Uber in and out to the airport instead of the shuttle they offer it’s cheaper. It was 36 American dollars versus 60 with a tip.

Great clean hotel. Very comfortable and convenient.

This hotel always deliver excellent service. Friendly staff, beautifully decorated, high quality toiletries and bedding. Beautiful patio and garden connecting to restaurant. I've stayed at other hotels in Antigua but keep coming back to The Good Hotel.

The customer service here was amazing & the hotel’s purpose is 1 night = 1 week of school for a child so definitely worth putting your $ towards a cause when choosing. The staff went above and beyond at every turn. As a solo female traveler I came to the good hotel just a little uneasy/with lots of questions & immediately, they made me feel at home. The hotel has a great location, super safe & modern rooms. The staff is incredible & I will definitely come back!

I was given a room where something mechanically was broken and a loud noise all night resembling construction being done and was unable to sleep. Had to switch rooms early the next morning to be able to sleep. Then the room they switched me to had NO running water - I was unable to shower or use the toilet. I complained and I was originally offered $50 for food at the restaurant when I was leaving that day so unable to use even the full credit at the restaurant. I asked for 2 of the 4 nights to be refunded since there were disruptive issues 2 nights. They agreed to give me a refund for 2 nights, for which I had in writing. I had to chase for a week to get a refund, and then they told me to call hotels.com to try and seek the refund. They only approved one night to be refunded even though I have messages on WhatsApp that they would refund the 2 nights. They will not honour the 2 nights they agreed to refund me originally. This place is good from far but far from good. For the amount of money you pay, which is a lot for a hotel in Antigua, you can stay at a much better place that is quiet and has running water. Go elsewhere - there are far better options than this place.
Also, I got food poisoning from the chicken at their restaurant that I had for dinner one night. I spoke to the manager of Saul restaurant as soon as I started eating the chicken. He was telling me the taste was like that because of the spices used. I eat food with spices all day long. This chicken was rotten.

Was definitely not a luxury stay or experience. The “best rooms” available are right next to reception where it can be loud especially at 7am. We had no water in our room for 3 hours no one reached out to us, we had to reach out to them to let them know and they look an hour to get back to me and said they didn’t know what was going on. Water damage and mold in bathrooms and used cheap paint to paint over. Offered filtered water in room for drinking that smelled like a fish tank. Lady at front desk absolutely clueless as to what was going out the entire stay. For this price point I’m sure there are better stays else where. Walls are paper thin, you could hear your neighbors farts and conversations. Would not stay here again.

The property was very nice and clean. The location is excellent. There are great dining options just around the corner. The property style is minimalist IKEA like, not really Spanish style like the rest of Antigua. The room was comfortable.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Direct Adventure Tours, the company you recommended. Their service was exceptional, and they made my week-long stay an unforgettable adventure. When it comes to the hotel, I must say that the smoothie offerings were absolutely outstanding—undoubtedly the best I've ever had!

I will book this property again when we go back to Antigua, no doubt. The staff is unbelievable. They made our stay memorable thanks to being so accommodating to our needs. Special mention to Jennifer and Andrea that take care of us very specially.

The Good Hotel is a fantastic and upscale hotel right near the heart of Antigua. The staff is amazing, very friendly, and incredibly helpful. The rooms are simple, but effective and have very comfortable beds. The restaurant has delicious food and drinks. The small market has many amenities plus snacks and beverages to take back to your room. The only negatives I have was 1. the room pictures online didn’t match the room I stayed in, there were stairs to a loft I was not expecting. 2. There is no refrigerator or microwave, but I was not expecting those items. Regardless, I will definitely be returning and staying at the Good Hotel for futures trips to Antigua.

The only thing that I’m going to say that’s negative about the Good Hotel is the name! They should be called the Great or Amazing Hotel. From the costumer service to the awe when you first walk into the hotel room. The photos don’t do them any justice. I highly recommend them.

The staff was great! The rooms were nice and very clean. Keep in mind some rooms may not have a tv. Overall, this property has all the necessities and location was close to Antigua Central Park! Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Good Hotel. The room was perfect, and the location was very convenient. Transportation to and from the airport was great.

I highly recommend staying at the Good Hotel Antigua when visiting Guatemala . The space is gorgeous and the room is spacious and clean.

I like that this hotel supports charitable causes, but it was quite expensive so would be great to have more transparency into how much goes to philanthropic efforts. The rooms themselves are designed quite poorly. Lots of small design inefficiencies add up to make the room uncomfortable e.g. toiletries sitting outside of the shower so you wet the floor when you reach for them, no room around the sink basin to place anything, tiny nighstands without enough room for items, lamps without shades on either side of the bed so you can't wind down with a soft light. The minimalism borders on the line of stark and certainly crosses the line of non-functional at times.

Cute property with a great social mission. 100% of the profits go to building a better future for Guatemalan children, which really makes all the difference. The staff were kind and super helpful, going above and beyond to provide recommendations and to help organize tours or transportation. A bit outside of the main square but very central. The property itself is a little garden oasis and has a well appointed restaurant next door/attached. The hotel provides filtered water but there was no hot water in the shower. A bit loud in the evenings for anyone who’s a light sleeper. The room has everything you need but is very utilitarian in design. Super clean. No air con and likely would not have stayed here without it if it hadn’t been so cool and airy in December.

Stay was great! Front desk was super helpful from checking in early to booking shuttle to airport. The beds were comfy and it was overall a great stay. Would book again

The hotel staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The hotel room with spacious and very clean. Please be where there is no AC. We went in November, so I thought it was OK without AC but my husband was hot at night. They did provide a fan though.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was spectacular. They assisted with arranging my transportation from and to GUA. They also assisted with restaurant recommendations. No AC so the room did get a bit sticky and warm but after a shower and turning on the fan I actually ended up cooler than I wanted to be. There also wasn’t a tv which I only hated because I use the noise from the tv to sleep. I would revisit this hotel again in the future.

We had such a beautiful stay at The Good Hotel in Antigua. Such a unique and beautiful hotel. It's very convenient to restaurants (Saul's is excellent and right next door), and most of the touristy places around Antigua. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, shout out to Christian for being super helpful whenever we needed something. Plus this hotel has a wonderful mission and supports the local community. A .
