Lovely quiet hotel with room overlooking the lake. Not stayed before but will again. Lovely staff too. Just what is required when working away from home.
4.3
Great access to City & Playhouse Theatre-plus lovely staff and wonderful room, with good quality beds, plus a spacious bath & great shower.
4.3
Very limited parking
Was advised to park 'anywhere' outside including disabled bay. Hotel did not seem at all busy so cannot figure out why there is no parking. Arrived in the evening. Lighting around hotel very poor. Dingy and not very welcoming
4.3
We stayed to be near to the Queens medical centre which was just round the corner.
Very comfortable and quiet. Friendly staff
4.3
A pleasant surprise, will use this place again.

Clean, well maintained and comfortable. Ideal.

Stayed for a nearby wedding. Comfy, clean room. Ensuite with a bath. Friendly staff. And very quiet. Would stay again

Lovely peaceful surroundings. Unusual being on the Uni campus. Really enjoyed our stay. Limited bar & menu but adequate. Staff very helpful. Spacious, clean room & communal areas. EV chargers to use with your own cable. Would recommend.

I used to live in Nottingham but since moving away I often stay in a hotel when visiting. I had never used this hotel and chose on the basis of low cost. It’s in no way poor standard as a result. It’s great value for money. It cost £10 in a taxi to the city with a very short wait. I’d consider staying again. Plus it includes free parking.
4.3
Reception staff were so helpful -nothing was too much trouble - even provided a toothbrush when I had forgotten mine . Food was really enjoyable for breakfast. Hotel on Nottingham jubilee campus and we were given full day parking which was amazing for uni visit . Would highly recommend
4.3
very nice hotel / conference centre, clean, tidy and modern. large room and bed, room had a large desk.
4.3
All was good but disappointing restaurant not open in the week bar food choice had no salads or anything. Also place was busy and poor lad on bar on his own
4.3
Lovely hotel spacious clean rooms would defo stay again.
4.3
The rooms and facilities are really dated. Average bed comfort. Gym was in poor condition and machines need replacement or upgrading. This was on the higher side for costs would have stayed somewhere else.
4.3
Bedroom was clean and comfortable.
The bath/shower needs an extra support bar near the taps. I did not feel safe while showering, there was nothing to hold on to.
Food and drink was very limited.
4.3
Great welcome and so helpful about the car parking arrangements as I had to go out very shortly after arriving. Nice room with excellent view in my case. Breakfast very well presented - and tasty.
4.3
Was not a bad base for the city centre, bit on the outskirts. Biggest complaint was the lack of air conditioning, it's a fairly new building, and the bar prices. Best part was the breakfast - first class.

Very hard to find.

Very comfortable and clean. Lovely breakfast

Quiet, well located. Good value

Satisfied with stay as very close to my place of work

Amazing. A wonderful hotel with beautiful architecture. Very relaxing and the staff were great.
My only problem is that I have a bad back and the mattress was a little soft for me. The rest of the family were fine so only little complaint.
We will definitely be returning though.
4.3
Convenient location for visiting University and only £6 taxi into city centre plus many buses. Beautiful outdoor space and bar area, pity room was disappointing.Room was small and airless as window only opened a crack and into an internal area, no view. Noisy corridors due to doors that bang loudly when shutting so not a great night’s sleep.
4.3
Very convenient for university of Nottingham - it's a twenty minute walk to the main campus or a five minute drive.
Received a very warm welcome from the staff at Check-in and was given some advice about eating and they also happily answered all of my questions.
The entrance is stylish, the room is functional and modern. Very clean.
Lots of free parking on site.
The only let down is that you can hear a lot of noise in the room. So as people walk past in the corridor ir next door, you hear clearly what they are saying. If you are a light sleeper, other peoples doors banging through the night or early morning will disturb your sleep.
On balance would still book again and bring some ear plugs :-)

Arrived on Monday and went to our room to find there was no running water. They never said anything when we checked in. It was really hot but couldn’t shower. No water to make a drink or take medication. My cousin checked in before us and they weren’t told either. Only when we complained to reception were we offered bottled water. It was a few hours before the problem was fixed. Next evening I was on the loo and the fire alarm went off. I wasn’t dressed. It was so loud and the safety curtains came down on the balcony. No announcement was made and no staff came along the balcony. By the time I got dressed it had gone off. No apology just told it was one room that had a problem. Beds were comfy but dangerous as on wheels and moved as you tried to get in. Nearly fell as the bed moved away from the way so fast. No aircon and could only open the windows a very small amount. It was unbearably hot so hardly slept. Breakfast was a huge disappointment. Rubbery eggs. Disgusting tasting coffee. Insipid looking sausages. We would not stay here again.

We were meeting cousins to attend an exhibition about Boots at the Djanogly gallery.

The staff at this hotel are really friendly and helpful, and there is always a good atmosphere in the area downstairs. Rooms are basic, but clean and well serviced. I’m definitely a returning customer

It is set in beautiful grounds, part of the Nottingham University campus and we found it to be very quiet, almost serene. There is an outdoor sitting area overlooking a lake.
It is slightly unusual in comparison to a regular hotel, the layout is obviously geared to meetings and conferences but not an issue. The reception area doubles up as a bar in the evening. The rooms are huge and are well decorated, with all the usual facilities that you need. The whole place is spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very good value and free parking which is a bonus!
The only real gripe we have was the cost of taxis to get you into town as it is about 4 miles away and you certainly don’t want to be using your car. The prices varied between £11 and £14 for a journey there and late at night it cost £24 to get a taxi back to the hotel late at night.
I would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel again.

Beautifully located inside Jubilee Campus it is also 5 min from central streets and bus stops. A very nice hotel

Exactly as described

Over all good stay but bed felt it it was on a slant .
4.3
Great room. Had good food watching the geese with their babies.
4.3
Ideal location for my activities, easy walk from great transport links, great place to stay, rooms maintained to high standard and breakfast options really good.
4.3
Enjoyable stay, nice room, very quiet

I did not like trying to get to the hotel which is situated on the grounds a public university. One entrance from a main Street was blocked off and you had to go find another one to get into it
There is a big sign at this entrance to the university that points to you to the hotel and the GPS send you there. If they're not going to open that one access then they need to put a sign saying this side is closed and brief description of how to get to the property. Parking was terrible but all parking in England is

Generally fine, however for some reason it was REALLY hot. At first I thought this was because the building is designed like a giant glasshouse, but later I realised that the heating actually seemed to be on full blast. The corridor outside was also 26 degrees at one point. Our radiator was off but the feed pipe was constantly boiling hot. Also in the evenings there were children playing hockey in the corridor (?) and the noise from the bar in the atrium was really loud - however this did quieten down by midnight.

Excellent.

All good

Great stay. Easy parking, spacious hotel, incredibly friendly staff. Easy check in. Nice rooms and very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean.
We were staying for a very short period as we were attending a sporting event and the hotel served its purpose. The reception staff in the morning wished my daughter luck and were really attentive and friendly.
Wasn’t clear from the booking site that the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant so we had to walk to a pub at the end of the road. It does have a cafe but not enough choice to have an evening meal there. But you can order a takeaway to the hotel if you want.
I thought we had a patio when we arrived but the doors only open slightly to allow some air in, this was needed though as the rooms are nice and warm.
Only real negative was we had a twin room and the beds moved loads when you sat on them… really annoying and we nearly slid off because of this. Maybe some breaks needed to be put on the wheels.
