The hotel is located in an excellent location and is renovated in an excellent condition
1.0
Cold noisy room with poor service. Got a room in the basement, the heat wasn’t working and the cold wind was blowing in from the window. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.
5.0
Very professional, the room was brilliant and clean, comfortable beds. Close to market and local shops. Not alot of parking, 4 bays in total and first come first serve.
5.0
I've stayed here before when attending shows at the Corn Exchange. It's a very comfortable place.
1.0
Not a family friendly hotel. Very misleading on phone about parking and ground floor rooms. Service behind desk was shocking.
4.0
Good value for the centre of Cambridge and the standard of accommodation.
1.0
We were quite disappointed with our stay. The room was filled with constant creaking noises, which kept us awake throughout the night—definitely not ideal for a good night’s sleep. Additionally, there were loud sounds coming from the gutter outside, adding to the disturbance.
On top of that, the cleanliness was not up to standard, with visible dirt in several areas.
If you suffer from dust allergies, I strongly recommend avoiding this place. The room had a dusty, musty smell that made it hard to breathe comfortably.
Additionally, the room was very cold, and it was difficult to figure out how to turn on the heater. We ended up being quite uncomfortable during our stay.
To make matters worse, the price was far too high for the quality of the room and service. We expected much better for what we paid.
On a positive note, the staff was friendly and polite, which was the only redeeming quality of our visit. Unfortunately, the overall experience was far from satisfactory, and we won’t be staying here again.

Great location, comfortable, newly refurbished

I like the girl on front desk

Room had sticky bathroom floor, broken window facing very noisy/busy street. Bathroom sink not clean. Asked for more screamers to be delivered; was told no. Excellent location. Stairs, no elevator.

A nice hotel, close to the city centre, universities and the river
A well kept hotel with friendly staff

The room was a bit small but quite nice. When I was late to check out they were very understanding.

Friendly, clean perfect location.
8.0
Clean and comfortable although the bathroom and sink were quite small.

We absolutely loved the apartment we were appointed. It had everything we needed. Loved this place!
10.0
Good hotel, conveniently located half-way between the centre and the train station. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast wasn't a full English but was good quality. I would happily return.
3.0
The hotel is old, so the walls are thin, the decore has done its time and if you’re driving, the parking in the area, this a bit of a headache.
2.0
The property was old and none of the things inside has been updated. The lighting was really poor and everything was falling apart. The floors creak when you walk on them and they don't have a lift, good luck walk upstairs or downstairs with your luggage. The photos looked alright but was huge disappointment when seeing and staying there. The staff were however lovely and very helpful and kind. They deserve a 5 out of 5.

Small single room- but plenty of space for 1. Not too hot given the outside temperature. All good
3.0
The hotel is a little tired. Mainly I was disappointed at the fact that the spa is a ladies only. I had chosen this hotel for the spa, and I was told I couldn’t use it.
The room was ok, but nothing out of this world.
4.0
Friendly staff - not a lot of choice for breakfast, but beautiful home made sweet and cheese scones.
8.0
It has a great location, close to various buildings belonging to university of Cambridge. It was slightly dated but clean bathroom and toilet. Great shower!
10.0
Very comfortable room and excellent service meant we were very relaxed during our stay.
5.0
It's always nice to stay at the Lensfield, though it is probably right at the very top of its price bracket.
Very convenient to access central Cambridge. Due to its location, there are a few parking spaces available, but if you want one, try and get there early.
Breakfast is only a continental buffet, but there's lots there and its good quality. I've never used the spa facilities though, so can't comment on those.
4.0
This hotel doesn't look as though anything has been done to it in decades. Old bed, very old furniture which has been hand painted to "modernise" it, well worn carpet, pokey little bathroom, door that doesn't fit the frame so light stands in from the corridor all night. Dead batteries in the TV remote. On the upside the hotel is close to the city centre and the room has air conditioning.
10.0
It's a quiet environment, but it's in a very convenient location. I really liked the atmosphere in the room.

Super little Hotel in a perfect location for walking into the City centre. Approx 30 mins walk from the river, punting etc. Although on a main road, we heard no traffic noise at all from our room.
Would happily stay there again on our next venture to Cambridge.
4.0
Convenient location. Shower was too small for a tall man.

6.0
Rickety narrow stairs to basement room with low ceiling and no unobstructed window to fresh air.
8.0
Good hotel in a nice location. The room was much bigger and nicer than we had expected. Plus there was the added bonus of being able to park at the front at no charge - a great perk for the centre of Cambridge. Easy to walk everywhere. Helpful staff. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner, especially around the bath/shower, but it was OK. The bed itself needs a new mattress but everything else in the room was to a high standard.
4.0
A very old building. Victorian era, which means its 100 years old. No elevator so you have to lug your bags up 2 flights of narrow stairs. The desk clerk will only offer to help after they see you struggling. But the worst part was the room. Or in my case, attic. And that's what it was a converted attic. Slanted floor and all. I never got accustomed to walking in it because the slant was so bad. The floor has to drop at least 2 inches from the outer wall to the inner wall.
5.0
Our room was luxurious, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location was convenient.
6.0
Overall it is a value hotel clean and comfortable with a good staff. An investment in new mattress's would be a great upgrade. They felt like you're sleeping on a table.
6.0
Convenient location. Walkable. Air-conditioning was very poor. No elevator
