Incredible room, and really great staff

We have stayed at this hotel for multiple visits and never have we been able to reserve parking! Fortunately there is car park behind the hotel. However at check in I mentioned this and it appears they only offer the convenient parking to people who book direct-so they need to change this listing!! The lady checking me in, said it was cheaper to park where I did, then she asked if I wanted eco service so they don't make/clean the room on the 2nd day, which I said yes to, she then said I get a feee drink which I declined. Due to the parking issue we decided to eat outside the hotel and the lady informed me that if I wanted breakfast it was "cheaper" to book at the desk! What was it with the woman? If I can afford to stay 2 nights I can afford food! She either needs to be retrained or find a job outside of the hospitality industry! Room was comfortable, apart from the noisy guests above and below on both nights. We will NOT be returning!

The place looks amazing, staff where friendly and professional, room was specious, clean and well decorated. Heavy curtains to keep out street light and comfortable bed.
All round brilliant experiance , thank you

Had a magical stay in Stratford made more wonderful by the lovely staff and accommodations at Hotel Du Vin. Convenient location to everything in Stratford. Comfy bed, quality bath products, exceptionally quiet room. Would absolutely stay here again.

The staff were so lovely and it felt warm but super professional, our room was incredible! It was our anniversary and they wrote us a lovely message in chocolate very sweet!
Georgia our waitress was very accommodating and anticipated what we wanted before we even asked! Nothing was too much trouble. The thought that goes into the rooms is incredible! We love it here and will keep coming back

After a challenging few weeks following health issues we were delighted to come away for some much needed rest and relaxation. The staff allowed an early check in and were attentive to our needs. The food for breakfast and dinner was excellently presented and the staff went out of their was to help us.

Stayed a number of times and this hotel always produces high standards of service, comfort and experience. Food is excellent and noteworthy for the town.
The rooms are always immaculate and the bed and bedding is first class. Always a great nights sleep.
Wonderful location in the town centre with easy access to everywhere and parking right outside. Ideal and highly recommend

The hotel is perfectly located to visit local attractions by foot. The hotel is very well appointed, beautifully clean with comfortable bed and linen. The food here was exceptional, I had both breakfasts and evening meals, even my cocktail was perfect. All the staff were friendly and attentive.

Great location for exploring the town, very modern hotel. Didnt have food at the hotel as it was very expensive, restaurant menu looked ok but chose to eat out in the town. Room was nice but mattress on bed very soft, not so good for guest with back problems!
Our room was located on the front side of the hotel which was quite noisy in the morning from main road and at night a bar adjacent played very load music until midnight.

Well appointed room. Excellent Breakfast Buffett.

Hotel is in a great location just a 10 min walk to Sheep Street and most restaurants and shops. A 15 min walk to the RSC. There is an NCP car park just across the road to the hotel. Rooms and public areas are spotlessly clean and decorated to a high standard. We have been regular guests at this hotel since it's opening and have sadly noticed a few changes, namely they no longer provide a discount towards the NCP parking and the price of the breakfast is now £22 each which no longer represents good value for money for us. There is one member of staff in the restaurant, a lady called Mary, who deserves to be praised. She is fantastic at her job, clearly cares about the guests and always has a smile on her face. Sadly, she was not on duty today and there was a noticeable drop in standards. The restaurant staff that were on duty seemed uninterested and unwelcoming by comparison. The hotel has a lovely bar but, on more than one occasion, we've walked out and gone elsewhere for a pre-show tipple as the bar staff are no where to be seen. Overall though, the hotel is very convenient and we will return but just eat and drink at the may bars and restaurants that Stratford has to offer.

Excellent location for the theatres, dining, pubs etc. Staff were really welcoming, nice room, great breakfast, but the real icing on the cake was the way our dog was treated -0 hadn't intended to bring him, had to ring at the last moment to arrange for him to come with us. There's a surcharge of £25, pretty much expected, but rather than this purely being a fee to cover nominal extra cleaning like most places which claim to be 'dog friendly', at this Hotel di Vin he was made a fuss of by the reception staff, and in the room was an appropriately sized bed for him, two bowls on a mat ready for food and water and a 'welcome pack' with treats, a tennis ball and a couple of poo bags - really lovely touch and made it clear he was genuinely welcome. Will stay again!

This is a perfect place to stay when visiting. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is super helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.

About a ten minute walk from the station - we were both glad we stopped there - from first sight to check in to bar to duplex (yeah that’s right) room
Everyone knows HDV are not budget hotels quite the opposite but worth the money - very very good - the staff are superb, no stuffiness and good humoured
Very Impressed

Will definitely be our number one choice when return to Stratford

The hotel was generally very good, did have a problem with the air con, only coming on occasionally. And parking was expensive. I used NCP half the price and only 100 mtrs away. Staff very helpful and friendly. Special mention for Mary in the dining room. Always welcoming, friendly and attentative.

Beautiful hotel minutes walk away from the town centre. Public car park, shops and bars all close by. Lovely decor. Highly recommended!

Completely overpriced for what it is. Tiny rooms. Rip off parking, limited menu. It is a nice an clean hotel. However the location is fairly poor and you pay £25 to park in the same carpark that everyone else pays £2 for. Pricing is never really an issue but this is not great value. Quite disappointing. Decide for yourself though.

It’s the first time I give a hotel a 10/10 rating. Staff at reception, bistro and bar are all very friendly and helpful. We stayed at a deluxe balcony room. The room is perfect, and we (dog included) love the balcony. I strongly recommend this hotel.

The room was lovely with a nice balcony to sit on. The staff were friendly and efficient and the bed extremely comfortable. We always stay in hotel du vin if it is available in the town we are visiting. This one lived up to the usual high standard.

We liked the location of this property, it's cleanliness and warm reception from Simon, ( who also checked about lockers for us at Blenheim Palace.)

Really liked this hotel, especially the room, which was upgraded from my original reservation.
It was spacious and comfortable. The staff helped me with a difficult situation and I really appreciated it. I would definitely go back if I’m ever in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Excellent property with wonderful staff.

As usual the hotel was lovely, we come every year for 2 nights on our Wedding anniversary.
The room was very nice, it just seems a shame that the Junior suite we had on our first visit had some lovely bits of quirkiness such as a split level room with roll top bath and a balcony. This visit was a little disappointing as for the same price we had a very generic room which didn’t seem to hold the same level of uniqueness of the previous one.

Well-appointed, spacious rooms within an easy walk of good restaurants and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre

I spent 4 nights at the Hotel du Vin in June 2024. I had never been to one of their properties before. Simon checked me in and was very helpful. The rooms are generous and I was very comfortable. All the staff I encountered were very nice and helpful. The location is fabulous for exploring this town, going to a show, or seeing all the Shakespeare sights.

Just two nights stay. We had room only as there are so many very good eateries within a 10 minute walk. An NCP car park is in the street just opposite the hotel - not cheap but very convenient. The HdV itself is fantastically clean, well maintained and quiet and it was a pleasure staying there

Nice hotel. Bathroom could have smelled better.

Spotless. Beautiful rooms, welcoming staff. Good value for money, particularly considering the alternatives in Stratford-upon-Avon. Naming the rooms after wine producers, instead of numbers, it is a nice touch given the name of the hotel. Highly recommended.
