So nice and helpful staff.
Room was small but sufficient for a night. Very clean room.
Very well located close to the market.
Bed was a bit too small, this was annoying.

Clean and tidy and everything works. Good location for the MRT, the bakery and Hawker Stalls. Really nice neighbourhood.
Super expensive for the size of room. You can't open the windows or see out of them as there's a metal grid over the window. Really should be described as a windowless room. Asked if there was another room that had windows that open. Staff said they were all like this.

Quiet, small hotel with old-fashioned decor. Clean and tidy and in a good location near cafes and restaurants. Staff were always helpful. Our room was very small but comfortable. Opposite the market where your choice for food stalls is amazing.
I didn't like paying extra for a room with a window, only to find the window small and the view marred by shutters that could not be moved.

The hotel is located within a 10 minute walk of two MRT stations and about a minute walk from the wonderful Tiong Bahru Bakery and across the street from a major hawker food court. The remodeling of the hotel entrance during the Covid period has the entrance now on the street with the hawker food court. The reception staff is amazing - and check in is super fast. I have stayed in several rooms in the hotel that can run from small to modest in size. This time had the perfect size for a short stay. The hotel rooms are all very clean and with soft beds - and the AC works very well! Always love that the showers have both good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Each room also has a safe that is large enough to put your laptop in.
While the price makes for a good reason to stay at Nostalgia - its the staff that has brought me back here many times over many trips. A hotel with an outstanding staff is well worth staying at again and again! No better example at this hotel than Perry - who is one of those guys every great hotel wants to have work for them. Thank you for a great stay!

The room in the hotel was very well cleaned. The mattress of the bed is of a soft to medium type, perfectly for my needs :) I could sleep very well. All in all a very good hotel for an acceptable price for Singapore.
The only thing which I found semi-optimal is the holdingmechanism of the hand-controlled showerhead which was fixated directly under the rain shower head, so you risk colliding with it.

A charming, comfortable hotel with friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Fabulous location away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but with a brand new MRT station 2 mins walk away. Fabulous local coffee shops and restaurants not to mention delicious food at the hawker centre all within a 2 minute walk.

I look forward in staying here again, the very next time I experience an extended stay in my favorite 'SIN' city.
Did this location offer a pool?? Did not locate it, on this trip. NO worries, I cannot swim.
