You spend the morning unwinding at your leisure until you are ready for adventure. You stroll down the cottage's dock where your boat lies waiting for its voyage. The dock provides the utmost convenience to boaters with deep-water access that leads to blue water in minutes. Whether you enjoy fishing or not, this home is the place for you. The tranquil views from the home provide serenity to all. The stunning views of the bay are enchanting, especially at sunset. There is a comfortable bench at the end of the dock that gives you a front row seat to this magnificent scene.

The house is located centrally on the island, making it convenient for dining and shopping. The home is a cozy retreat. The open-concept living area opens up to a delightful covered porch. The well-equipped kitchen has all one needs to cook up tasty coastal meals. Dine together at the dining table for six or dine alfresco on the deck. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom on the main floor, providing plenty of space for everyone to stretch out.

THINGS TO KNOW
The boat lift is not for guest use.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great home on bay. Amazing docj for fishing and sunsets. Great amenities. Beds were comfortable. Great shower pressure. Cable could have worked a little better but who needs it. Awesome place

This beach island rental had it all. So close to the bay we felt like we were on a houseboat, yet only 4 blocks to the gulf beach. We walked to the gulf Beach with our grandkids several time and enjoyed the walk. We also really enjoyed fishing off of the dock and had great luck once we bought live bait from the baitshop. We also enjoyed buying fresh seafood in town and visiting the Apalachicola estuary just on the other side of the big bridge. When I come back I will request this home again for sure! Perfect location, comfortable cottage!

The property is older and could use some updating but it is clean and the location is fantastic if you want to be on the bay. The dock has water at all tides and it is an easy run to the launch ramp, government cut, and to apalachicola. About a mile bike ride to the restaurants and shops and a few blocks to the beach. It worked great for us.

The house is clean and in similar condition to other properties of this era that we've stayed at on the island. The dock was wonderful and we enjoyed fishing and watching the sunsets. Beach access is easy as the property is located at the end of a road that directly leads to a beach access at the other end, about 5 blocks away.

First off, this house is smaller and much older than most on the island for rent. It could use some serious work in several regards, but for a lower cost rental on the island, its a clean nice location that works out well. For those of you thinking of renting the dock specifically to fish from. You should immediately reconsider this. The canal nearby has boats coming in and out constantly all day long and for some reason they all seem to play the how close can I get to this dock game. Multiple boats caught my line. I eventually just reeled in whenever a boat was coming or going because the vast majority were passing so close I could have jumped in and gone for a ride. If you fish with lures, you will probably be fine fishing with live bait from the end of this dock is pretty much a no go except late at night.

Perfect place for family of four on spring break. Clean. Kitchen utensils well stocked. Loved the evening sunset view. Also liked the foot bath and outdoor shower. Would definitely stay again.

The property was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, although I don't cook much, it seemed to have everything you'd need. The furniture was nice and comfortable. The size was good for two of us, but i think it would be pretty crowded for more than four. The view is really pretty.
