Most hotels make an effort to accommodate guests when they arrive before posted check in times not The Source. We arrived 10:00am but check in wasn’t until 4:00pm. I asked for a secure location to store our luggage and asked if they could let housekeeping know we’ve arrived and if they could call me when our room was ready. The receptionist says yes and tags our bags so we leave to get some food see some sights. I call 2:30pm and ask if by chance our room is available but told it’s not. We arrive back at the Source at 2:30pm (no call received but our family has medication packed that we need to take. The same receptionist is on the desk checking in other guests… our bags are still sitting in the lobby so I take them and start to leave when the receptionist sees the anger and frustration on my face she calls out that she ‘thinks’ our room is ready now.
The hotel promotes itself as a ‘resort’ charging a 25.00/day resort fee, 33.00/day parking fee. Housekeeping did begrudgingly give me an extra ‘free’ bottled water and towels when I asked (we had 3 guests). The Hot Tub and Pool are both in a sorry state of disrepair (the hot tub hand railing is literally hanging on by a broken screw). Overall I would rate the Source about the same as any budget friendly family hotel but with extra costs.

great hotel with lots fo foods options. The woods roof top bar is great for watching son set. Smoke has great barbcue and the hotel is nice wish the jets worked better. hotel staff were great very nice went out of there way i would stay here again only thing i suggest is the cleaning housekeeping staff needs to do a better about being consistant. that would not change my stay or experiance thanks all staff from the time i arrived until the time i left great to work with and went out of there way.

When I had to cut short my trip unexpectedly, the front desk couldn't have been nicer about it or more helpful. I really appreciated her kindness.

The check in was horrible. The front desk woman, Tania, did a poor and lackadaisical job at giving me any sort of info about the hotel, its amenities and the area in general. She also misquoted me on the cost of parking; telling me that it would be roughly $30 for the stay, and then ended up charging me about $30 per day. But what takes the cake is that my first evening at The Source, the front desk gave a room key to a complete stranger and allowed them access to my room while I was out. My friend and I came back to the room to find the man snooping around, but he bolted out like a bat out of hell after we had returned. This was a pretty hefty violation to mine and my friends safety, but when I reached out to management thru their website, I still have to this day not yet received a response to this issue. Just all around terrible front desk service and management as well.
The hotel itself, while clean and not terrible by any means, is very basic. We stayed in a Skyline Suite which was very bland and pretty uncomfortable. The furniture was cheap and very uncomfortable just to sit on. The televisions were very dated and had no smart features, so we’re stuck to watching basic cable the entire stay. The bathroom has no exhaust fan, so if you’re staying with friends or loved ones… enjoy that smell throughout the whole room every morning. The “soaking tub” is barely big enough for a child, let alone an adult. And there is no carpeting throughout the rooms either. Just rugs.

This is a funky hotel. We had a 3rd floor city room. We kept the blinds down because the blazing sun would otherwise turn it into an inferno. The rooftop bar and restaurant was very good and the view of Denver couldn’t be beat. It’s located in River North which is close to a lot of things, but not next to the light rail so if you need to get around you will have to drive, Uber, or walk. The selection of restaurants at the property are pretty good.

The room was clean and comfort. The garage door was somewhat fashioned into window with a corner view. The hydraulic curtain was a nice touch but I wasnt really a fan of the garage door opening up unless the guard was a bit higher. The food was hot and really good and both front desk ladies were very welcoming and friendly. Overall me and husband enjoyed our stay and will mostly likely stay there again the next time we're in Denver!

The room was great! I love the vibe and being integrated into the common space. We also spent time in the work out room and pool. Great experience.

It was OK, nothing too exciting, nothing special. Pool is super small. I would definitely not go back there.

We always stayed here for the annual Denver Gem Show, because we love both restaurants (Woods and Smok) and the bakery in the morning. The rooms are nice and the rooftop pool and hot tub are amazing.
This year will likely be our last. After a full day of working, we were were trapped in the garage elevator with 10 strangers for nearly 30 minutes, until the fire department let us out. The experience was miserable, one of the people stuck was having a panic attack, and it was truly unsettling. With 10 people in a tiny elevator on an already hot day, we were covered in sweat by the time we were rescued.
Despite all of us being adults, the hotel staff asked if we were "doing anything on the elevator to cause it to break", and when we said no of course we didn't, he accused us of jumping on it because that's known to cause it to stop. Obviously no one was jumping in the elevator... But being accused and then not believed did not make for a good "apology."
We requested a call back from the hotel manager, which we never got. They offered to cover the cost of our parking pass, and tried to give us a small gift card for their restaurant, but we had already eaten and were leaving the state the following morning. It was not an appropriate response, and the lack of empathy and accusatory tone in the immediate aftermath was disappointing at best.
We loved this place, and are sad to not go back.

The hotel is really nice and the staff is super friendly. As far as amenities are concerned, nothing is free (no breakfast, coffee, etc.) so be prepared to bring your own.

Sadly not the same property as many previous trips. Shops and brewery all gone. Staff not overly welcoming.

The Source was a nice place to stay. Good room, nice bed, dining options, a nice rooftop bar and little pool. We enjoyed our stay and would come back!

If I am ever in need of staying in the area again I won’t even search for other hotels. All around one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at.

Parking is pricey. Great BBQ place inside.

Up and coming area. Not walkable to downtown and additional restaurants are on the other side of the train tracks. You need a car or Uber.

This was a beautiful hotel. The staff was very friendly. The room was excellent. The rooftop bar and restaurant was excellent with a beautiful sunset view.

Room was small but efficient. Liked the garage door with Juliette balcony option.
The phone in the room didn’t work.

The Source Hotel is a nice unique hotel in the RiNo district of Denver. The Foodie Court next door has a lot of choices. The Woods restaurant/bar has awesome views of the peaks.

It has a very industrial chic feel, it was great!

Very eco friendly. $250 hold on card until checkout. They have their own parking but you have to pay for it (up to $25/day). They also give you a $15 credit to use at their hotel restaurant.

Wonderful hotel, lots of great dining options, rooftop bar, pool & hot tub area are all incredible and offer exceptional views of the city.

I did not like that the AC unit in the room was very noisy and ineffective. It was even worse in another room that was offered. Such an in-priciple high-quality hotel should do better.
The staff was friendly and helpful but, understandably, they could not resolve this issue.

This porperty is very industrial. Cold cement floors, ceilings and walls. The unfinished raw loft style makes it very cold. Furniture is not comfortable in room. Everyone in our wedding party had to wait 2-4 hours for rooms even though we had a block. One must take an Uber most places due to the inconvience of location. If one did choose to walk it was thru areas of homeless people. I'd never recommend this to anyone.

Literally feels like a prison cell. All cement floors and ceilings. Minimal decoration. For this price, you are better off staying at a more cozy hotel.

Modern, clean, unique hotel! Awesome amenities and you never need to leave the property to be entertained for days! Cash snack/drink bar in the room is expensive but convenient. Beautiful salt water pool and hot tub on rooftop and tons of food options. Came with spouse and 4-year-old and had a great time. Stayed on Floor 6 with a mountain view, but traffic below was still loud at times. Would absolutely stay again!

Excellent hotel in RiNO

The front desk was not friendly or helpful at all. The air in our room did not work and our room smelled like Mexican food. Oh and what they called a pool was horrible

Loved how modern this hotel was. Great dining options, close to fun things, and fantastic views. Would gladly visit again!

Room was small and the AC was so loud it was hard to sleep.

The most amazing stay with the most amazing restaurants ever. The bakery connected will change your life. The bbq and breakfast burritos were stellar. The roof top plunge was a hit with our kiddo!
8.0
Overall, I'd stay again next time I'm looking for a hotel in RiNo. Rooms are sparse (very modern, lots of concrete) but our room was very quiet and had a great view.
My biggest complaint is the pool. It's tiny, and the decking surfaces get VERY hot in the Colorado sun. This is not the type of pool you'd want to lounge near all day, or where you could bring kids.
RiNo is a fun Denver neighborhood but keep in mind that railroad tracks break the area into two sections. The Source is on the other side of the tracks from a lot of the fun RiNo food and entertainment options.
