Our room was enormous and very luxurious. Room service was extremely prompt and staff were very friendly and professional. In room breakfast was fantastic
We received in room breakfast very quickly, but the coffee and food was a bit on the cold side.

Very comfortable and nicely decorated room. The location is excellent, and the various restaurants in the building are worth a try. The room attendants were helpful and did an excellent job. The towels and extras in the mini bar are high quality. The pool is heated, with a few lounges. This was not a problem when I went to the pool but if more than 6 people wanted a lounge they would not be accommodated.
I booked a twin room. The two beds were narrow single beds. When booking twin rooms in the Westin and other similar hotels the twin beds are usually king single or double beds. Far more comfortable if the occupant is an adult and given the size of the room easily accommodated..
On arrival the staff informed me the room would be available in an hour. This was not the case.

The breakfast was amazing. The room service and housekeeping was amazing! The staff and valet were really friendly. The hotel is central to a lot of venues and Perth city central. The restaurants located at the treasury are top rate. Also the venue is close to other amazing restaurants. It is only a bus ride up to Kings Park and a short walk to the Barrack Street Jetty and Elizabeth Quay.

The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff are always friendly and go above and beyond. The breakfast is the best!
I wasn't informed of a fee for parking my vehicle and was stung with an $80 per day charge following my stay.. this could have been communicated better, or at all!

I would highly recommend this place. It was more than a hotel, it was a luxury oasis. The customer service was exceptional. The history of the building and decor. The pool. The accessibility to the restaurants and bars within The State Buildings.
It was perfect.
There was nothing to not like.

Loved our suite. Very spacious and comfortable
We could not get into the spa for any massage even though tried some weeks before. Seems outsiders given bookings before guests

Staff were excellent from the minute they greeted us when we got off the cab, to check in and walking us to our room.
Rooms are huge , great location walking distance to Swan River and Stirling Park is just across the road.

The staff were extremely welcoming, the offered turn down service at the end of the night whilst we were out for dinner. Complimentary breakfast at Post was the cherry on top of the service, the food was excellent. In terms of the bedroom, it far exceeded our expectations. The shower was magnificent and my only wish was that i stayed longer.

We were upgraded to a fabulous room with balcony overlooking the Cathedral grounds and view of Perth Council House. Spacious room, great shower and deep bath with beautiful amenities and great fluffy towels and big wrap around bath robe. The small jars with cashews, chocolate covered nuts and shortbread were very welcome. It was very peaceful and I was advised that occupancy was 80-85% but you could believe that you were the only people in the hotel - great soundproofing etc.
It was hot outside but the temperature in the building was beautifully cool - not cold due to overpowering air-conditioning but pleasantly cool.
Great gym lots of excellent equipment.
Very central to visit places around the city or if you prefer to stay in and relax!
The lightening in the passage ways is very subdued and made walking on the, in places, uneven floor a bit difficult for my husband who is experiencing some eye problems. Valet parking price is a bit on the high side.

The historical building it’s in, the interior design, spaciousnesses of bedroom and bathroom, quality of bed and bathroom linen, service.
It was a shame the pool was not outdoors, but it is a historical building and there must have been planning restriction. The only fault I can possibly find is that there was food smell from the restaurant in the corridor where my room was at dinner time, but this was not in the room.

I have dietary requirements as a Coeliac and I’m also on a plant based diet for health reasons whichi is similar to a vegan diet my husband is also on a plant based diet.
I informed the property in advance as your details say to do so. I booked a room rate based on the inclusion of breakfast and the fact that your staff told me I’d be well catered for. This was not the case. There was 1 choice of breakfast which was toast with jam or toast with Avacado. No extra effort had been made to accommodate us. If I had been told about the limited choices I would have chosen a cheaper room without breakfast. I complained to staff and said we wanted to cancel breakfast. As it happens we ate like kings all weekend. We ate a vegan cheeseburger (I had a gf bun) & fries at grill’d on Friday night. We took an Uber out to Flora & fauna cafe which fed us well. We had prebooked high tea at C’s who we also informed about our diets which Was spectacular. We finished the day at Andaluz tapas bar.
The kitchen sent complimentary cakes up to our room which were ok. We checked out & were not compensated for any costs due to not being able to eat a breakfast that was reasonably priced for what you could offer. The lack of effort on your part spoilt a weekend that was supposed to be very special and made our entire weekend feel overpriced and impersonal.
The room was nice, clean with an exceptional bathroom but the windows outside were filthy.
The in room fridge bar was complimentary and almond milk was provided which was something. However, the beers in the fridge weren’t Gluten free, neither was an alternative provided.

Beautiful enormous comfortable room with many lovely touches and a fantastic lap pool. Breakfast was excellent with healthy options. Staff very helpful.
It's obviously very expensive so it's a special occasion place. The valet parking also very expensive.

Simply the best hotel in Perth. My wife and I stayed at the Como for two nights including the night of our wedding. The staff were amazing. The service was sensational and the facilities are worth the cost. If you want the best then the Como is the place to stay.

Beautifully restored heritage building with indoor pool and high ceiling rooms
Due to the location there are no views from the rooms
7.0 / 10.0
- Rooms are beautiful
- Spa is exceptional
- Bathroom is luxurious and shower products are lovely
- Welcome message and treat is a nice touch
Have stayed at the Como previously and could not fault the experience, however on this occasion was a little disappointed for the price point of ~$1,000 per night:
- Parking was excluded (+$60 on top of accommodation, when previously this was included);
- Hotel staff could not accommodate dinner reservations outside the usual booking system- despite the restaurant looking relatively vacant at our requested timeslot;
- Unavailability of certain dishes at restaurants within the building;
- In-room movies removed;
- We had to prompt breakfast inclusions on multiple occasions;
- Our 'city view' room did not have a city view- it looked at a wall;
- Service delivery was slow /staff were less obliging than usual;
- The bedside tables strangely don't have powerpoints for phone chargers? *One side has a USB port- although our chargers were not compatible.

it was the most luxurious and comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in in Australia.
We only stayed 3 nights. The only thing that could be improved were the weights in the gym, however, I realize it is probably rarely used by the clients.
