room was exceptionally clean and comfortable
need better signage to find the reception area, when busy need more than one person at reception desk.
More parking needed.

Loved the apartment and location
Restaurant wasn’t open for lunch or dinner. No pool service for food or drinks. No pool towels. No umbrellas around the pool for shade.
8.0 / 10.0
Poor signage to get to reception. Perhaps some pre arrival communication with directions from sebel to check in
6.0 / 10.0
The main reception responded all of our requests efficiently during our stay.
Not so good value for money.
We were hoping for a better room with a view.
The room was a little run down.

well equipped studio apartment.
not quite enough parking right in front of the building. had to park behind the hotel which is next to the apartments not far away but annoying with luggage.

very comfortable great kitchen hot shower and lovely view
unable to get through to room service two nights in a row. dirty tissues left in bedside draw and lotion empty in the bathroom

The apartment was well equipped and very comfortable. You do hear noise from the adjoining apartments mainly through the connecting doors.
The pool area was too small for the number of guests. No where near enough Sun loungers or space. We ended up sitting on our balcony which wasn’t ideal in hot conditions
8.0 / 10.0
location, access to facilities, staff, restaurant
cleaning not up to usual high standards- cobwebs in bathrooms, dust on all surfaces - could actually write in it as so thick, balcony area not swept, surfaces dirty and mirrors all streaky and marked- disappointing

The setting and the wonderful rooms
One of the the restaurant meals was not up to standard.

Breakfast lovely could of been more variety changed each day. The staff were so lovely especially Tanya and Ti who went out if there way. Thank you you were amazing.
We arrived for a 3 Wk stay at the Sebel and requested a room 6 months and again 6 Wk’s before we arrived and a family who were there 2 nights were accommodated in. We were moved to it after the first night however only after unpacking then repacking and unpacking again quite inconvenient for a family of 5 staying 3 Wk’s in self contained appartments .
As diamond members we are entitled to a late check out at 12 md however told 10.30 was the latest they could do. This was disappointing as the end of the school holidays had passed a week ago and occupancy according to staff was only 40% so there was no real rush for an earlier departure. Why be entitled to diamond privileges when they are refused upon request considering we stay for 3 Wk’s twice a year there and as they don’t have suites if available an upgrade on our level in the Accor guidelines at the Novotel is not an option.
We requested an extra blanket for each of the children as the heating in the master bedroom was like a sauna however the children was freezing despite the same central heating and control panel. We did notify reception who said we would be charged for the extra blankets ( it was 6 degrees outside several mornings). After standing our ground that it was a basic service that heating should not be varied we were told that on this one occasion house keeping would not charge us! Again disappointing from a highly rated hotel.
The tiles are falling off the spa and the pool area needs a total renovation, this has been needed for a long time as with the main resort areas it is old and tired.
As we live in Perth and choose to staycation at the vines 6 weeks if the year staffing attitudes need to change with more privileges offered to reward patronage for their loyalty and a total renovation is needed to stay inline with other hotels in perth meeting luxury standards.

the scenery of the location was awesome ,decor colours and furniture was lovely
A few areas in the shower had mould ,the Queen bed was two single mattresses together so made a parting in them which for a couple isn’t that great No pool towels available even though the area was open till 10 and we used the spa at 8 so used our bathroom towel and it stayed wet for the morning. it said it had a balcony but was ground floor so was a outdoor dining so that was disappointing thinking we had upstairs views

The room was lovely and the wild life at my back door. The staff were amazing and very polight and helpful even though I was complaining about the reception.
It would all be 100% but I did not know there was no reception at the Sebel this needs to be made clear when booking after a four and half hour drive from Geraldton to get there look around not find a reception be told by a lovely lady in the car park yes that happened to her to I needed to drive back to the The Vines Resort to book in. later I found I could just walk through.
