About this cabin rental

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful and private acreage. Minutes from shopping and restaurants; but, you’ll find complete privacy on 5 acres of woods. Drink coffee on the deck overlooking the creek, gather around the fire pit amongst family and friends, or go for a walk to the garden bench to watch the sunset. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (bathroom on each level). 2 queen beds and living area in the walkout basement. Full kitchen, propane grill, yard games, washer/dryer, wifi available. Drip coffee maker and Keurig machine for your use.

We enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and comfortable for the four of us. It was a very peaceful setting. We were able to walk the trails and enjoy time outside on the front and back decks. Everything we needed for our stay was there. The host responded quickly to any messages we sent him. The whole property is well taken care of. It is just a few miles from the city of Lincoln. We all decided we would stay at this property again and recommend it to others.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful vacation rental! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. The property is exactly as described, if not better, and exceeded our expectations in every way. The house is impeccably clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with all the amenities you could ask for. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy family dinners together. We particularly loved the outdoor area, where we spent many evenings relaxing and taking in the stunning views. The location is ideal – peaceful and secluded, yet close enough to local attractions, restaurants, and shops. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. It’s clear they take great pride in their property and in making sure guests have a wonderful experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and create lasting memories. If you’re looking for a perfect getaway, look no further – this place has it all. We’re already planning our next visit!

The property is beautiful. The 3 levels allows for some quiet time from the kids when needed. The toys in the garage and swings helped to entertain the little ones. The Owner was quick to answer any questions we had. We had a fire with marshmallows, we had a water gun battle and made so many memories. Great location and wonderful home.

We enjoyed the property. It was peaceful and there were a lot of birds and wildlife. The house was comfortable. The host was fabulous and very accommodating. When we come back to Lincoln with family we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Property was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Plenty of room for our family!! Enjoyed watching the birds. It was a true oasis in the countryside with shopping and dining minutes away. We traveled from Texas to celebrate our Thanksgiving Holiday week and attend The University of Nebraska verses Iowa game. The cabin was so cozy and comfortable-we made wonderful family memories. We had 6 family members- from 16 to 74 and everyone loved everything about our experience. The owner, Travis, was always a quick text or call away and was so attentive and helpful. We went to Wilderness Ridge Country Club for Thanksgiving dinner and I would HIGHLY recommend. The cabin is only about 20 minutes from Memorial Stadium and less than 10 minutes from grocery stores and some great Resturant options. It snowed on Saturday which was so beautiful, especially for us southerners. It was PERFECT! We will definitely return again and again.

What a wonderful location! Early fall and the peace and quiet was wonderful. If you were planning a family reunion or small wedding, this would be perfect! Very clean, very quiet. Lots of wildlife to watch come through as well. Loved it.

Host was very responsive and helpful. House layout was great and we liked the bedrooms being on 3 levels as it gave everyone an extra bit of privacy. The property is beautiful and the fence lights at night gave a nice welcome home each evening. Kitchen well stocked. Plenty of towels in bathrooms. Not too far out of town, gravel road at end, quiet and peaceful. Thank you Travis for having us as guests. I suspect we will be back.

My family ended up making a once in a lifetime experience that none of us will forget! The house is beautifully remodeled with everything you need in a home away from home. The landscape is gorgeous with daily views of beautiful wildlife such as birds, deer, turkies, and bunnies. The owners were amazing. I needed something for my trip back home and they were there within 10 minutes and just dropped it off on the porch instead of disturbing us.

This home and property were exactly as described and perfect for our stay in Lincoln for the week. Travis We enjoyed the quiet rural setting, but it was just a short drive into east Lincoln. The property was beautiful, with several areas to play yard games and relax. And the trampoline was a hit!

We were in town for a wedding at The Shed in Panama, NE and the location was very convenient. There were 5 adults and everyone had their space. As we pulled in to the property a deer ran across the road so that was a fun greeting! The bird guide was great and we enjoyed seeing Cardinals at the feeders. House was immaculate with everything we needed. My (adult) children enjoyed the trampoline, basketball hoop and big hammock swing.

We booked the property based on proximity to our in-town family and number of bedrooms and baths to accommodate us and our two grown children and their spouses. Everything was just as the pics and the overview said and the host was very easy to contact. If you like a quite, serine setting yet close to the city, this is the place.We will book with them again on future visits to Lincoln.

Great place for multi-generational group. 15 min from U-N Lincoln campus. Very quiet once there- great bird watching for the artists with us. Easily slept our group of 7. In town amenities 5 min away as well. Would stay again! Thanks Travis!

I rented this property for a small gathering with my bridal party over NYE weekend. First, Travis (renter) was awesome about texting me the day of when the property was ready for checkin--this was well before the time listed on VRBO. The cabin was spacious yet cozy, and had SO MANY amenities we could use to cook food together, make drinks, stream movies or play video games. There was a spacious deck that overlooked the wooded property, so it felt like we were truly getting away for the weekend. There was not a single issue, but I know that Travis would have been available if there had been. The comfort we all felt while staying, and the super unique characteristics of the cabin made it such a fantastic place to stay. I won't hesitate recommending the property for friends and family in the future.
