Breakfast was good. The young woman who was in charge of keeping the little buffet and tables clean and supplied was very on point. I gave her a very positive personal feedback.
Nowhere on the website, booking.com, or in the booking was any information about the airport shuttle not picking up at the International terminal. It took a number of phone calls (which were forwarded to somewhere no one picked up) before I could finally reach someone at the front desk who wasn't really able to tell me where the shuttle DID pick up. When I finally found the right spot, after walking a huge distance through the airport, the shuttle still didn't show up. It took 2.5 hours after picking up my luggage to finally get to the hotel. The next morning, the shuttle driver stopped in front of the hotel for about 30 seconds, not long enough for another couple and me to get outside (in below freezing weather). We watched the shuttle drive away without us. It finally worked out, but not because the shuttle saw us waving and calling.
A free airport shuttle was the reason I booked this hotel. My experience with the shuttle will be the reason I never, ever book it again.

THE BED!!! If I wasn't so tired and in need of sleep, i'd have investigated to find out the mattress brand. Im also grateful for the free 5 am airpot shuttle.
Coffee in the lobby was cold at 5 am.

I liked the shower and the mirror, they added a nice touch to the room. I liked how clean and organized it was, it showed that they cared.
The light in our room was broken on the ceiling.
The phone is confusing to figure out.

Breakfast was ok. It was not great. Room was comfortable and very clean. Loved the whimsical art work. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.
We picked this hotel because of the airport shuttle. We waited 45 mins. We kept calling the hotel and they would not pick up. So we were freezing and tired at 12:30am. (Our flight was delayed) we ended up paying $35 for a taxi plus tip. We pulled up and the agent was outside smoking and no one was at the desk to check us in. We were told there was no shuttle after 9pm after the front desk agent came in from Smoking. Our flight left Newark after 9pm and we booked the hotel because of the distance from airport as well as the free shuttle. Booking.com should alert customers of the fact that shuttles that don’t run past a certain time.

I think the breakfast was good, would’ve liked it there was more “healthier” options such as yogurts possibly. There was mainly carbs in the form of waffles, bread, and muffins but overall I do think I got my money’s worth. The shuttle to the airport was very convenient and quite a few run a day. Staff was always very friendly and willing to help or answer any questions I had :)

Clean, modern hotel, great location to airport and shops and restaurants. Airport pickup every 30 mins was good. Good choice if you don't have a car and want to save on taxis. Friendly staff...
(1) Breakfast was a 6 out of 10 as free breakfasts go. Choice of fruit and bread was a bit limited compared to other breakfast included options I have experienced with other hotel groups. But given the competitive room price I suppose it was reasonable. (2) I found the room cold - room temperature controls were poor, could not increase temp to desired temperature, controls are not intuitive, no instructions provided.

Breakfast was very good considering it comes in the room rate. They was quite a good selection of food items to choose from. However, the omelette eggs were cold on one of the days and there isn't a wider selection of hot food items. Coffee/tea is provided in the lobby all day!
The room was clean and modern with great amenities - fridge, microwave, tea/coffee machine, iron/ironing board and hairdryer.
For the most part the staff were friendly and helpful.
I had an issue with making contact with the hotel when I arrived. I had a very unhelpful member of staff check me in. He did not explain anything to me other than where my room was located,. He provided no information. However, the next day, another staff member was more than happy to thoroughly answer all my questions.
I stayed 3 nights, and not once was my room cleaned and trash emptied.

Location it's fine, not too far from airport, breakfast was good plain and simple, no complaints.
I think was ok for me and my wife,a lot of people maybe complained, but if they won't something better they should get more expensive hotels.

95% of the building looks abandoned until you drive all the way to the back. The parking lot is massive and it looks a little scary until you get to the back.
Got there, was checking in. Was asked if we drove. I stated yes and was told that there charging for parking. I look out at the lot, and see how massive and empty it is between the 6 buildings. And I asked “you charge for parking?” He simply stated “sure”
Completely irritated at that point I said fine. Get to the room, the room is clean, yet there are only 2 towels. 1 small and 1 big. Nothing for the floor and nothing for the person staying with me.
Around 10 pm the room next to us sounds as if people are arguing and yelling, they’re screaming about money. I turn to us the room phone, and it wasn’t working. I called the front desk from my cellphone and stated that they needed to do something about all the screaming. I don’t know if they tried or not. But I had to call again and state that I would call the police if they didn’t. Or they can refund my money and I’ll happily leave.
When sharing with a family friend where I was, they told me that this hotel caters a lot to hookers. Which makes sense with the foot traffic that was going on on my floor since we were on the first floor.
I leave in the morning and come back, as I am walking to the door to swipe my card in, there’s this man chasing me down in the parking lot asking me if “I’m staying with them” turns out it’s the front desk guy for the morning. I simply stated “clearly” why else would I have a key card in my hand and I had parked? He said there’s not parking indication in my window. And did I pay for parking lol. At this point I’m laughing, because if that’s the highlight of their worry for the hotel, they’re simply stupid. I told him I paid the parking and the room number and walked away. I get to the door to swipe in and my card isn’t working.
Shocking. He more than likely disabled it. When I got to the front desk he replaced it for me.
Didn’t get WiFi passwords. Along with Everything this trash hotel provided
Update: Dear hotel please do not respond to the review with complete lies to make up for how sketchy and trash this hotel is. Thank you!

Location to the airport.
It’s not the LaQuinta I remember. The place was worn out, dusty, dirty. The towels a washcloths were threadbare. The meager “free” breakfast was mainly reheated frozen eggs, “fake” sausage pattys, and sugar. The parking/security was not worth the $20 charge.

The room had been remodeled fairly recently, and it was quite nice. The breakfast was not bad (as long as you like white bread and white bagels).
DO NOT COUNT ON THE SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL! The property has a shuttle service, but we waited for over an hour for a shuttle that never came, eventually having to pay for a taxi to get there. We called multiple times to try to ask about the shuttle, and nobody answered or paid attention to the messages that we left. The night clerk seemed to be very ineffective.

Front desk staff is horrible. I have to wait almost 30mins to check in.

Nothing. There IS no La Quinta by Wyndham at the indicst3d address, the land has been cleared.
That Booking.com is listing a hotel that no longer exists. Fortunately there is a Best Western across the street - the clerk verified that LQBW had indeed been there, but was bulldozed.

clean, spacious, comfortable room.
ability to call for shuttle to pick us up at airport. The phone number doesn't work. So we waited until we saw the bus.

Great stay for passing through during travels with family. This was centrally located and near great places to both eat and shop. The room was a nice size and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. The fitness center was also very convenient.

Great stay!! Room and bathroom were great size and very clean. The fitness center was a nice size and very convenient. We were just passing through, so this was a very good stay to rest and get in a quick workout before returning home.
There was nothing that I didn't like. The entire stay was very pleasant, and my mother and I really enjoyed our stay. This is definitely a place that we would consider staying again if we are in the area.

Cleaness
Extra charge for the checking out prior to noon time even 12pm is the normal time of the other hotels

The lobby was clean, thats it.The price was not worth it. You pay $150 for a room and the hotel then charges you $20 each car to park in the hotel parking lot. Ridiculous! I've never stayed at a hotel where they charge you to park in a lot. The man at the front was unprofessional and snotty. I will never stay here again and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. The place looks nice from the lobby, but the room was not clean. The counters were greasy, the floor was not cleaned, there was hair in the bathroom. Overall, the experience was poor. My biggest issue is charging customers to park in their parking lot after paying that much for a hotel room. How does that make any sense? I could see charging people apart there if they're going to the airport and not staying at the hotel. But we just stayed the night and had to pay an extra $40 to park. The staff needs to learn also how to be professional and treat people.
I already Said what I didn't like. The fact that they charge you to park in their parking lot after paying so much for a room. The rooms are expensive. I've never stayed at a hotel where they actually charged you to park in their parking lot. I feel they're trying to take as much as they can from people. The room was not cleaned properly. When I called down to the front desk and tell them they never sent anybody up. Also, the 2 men were very unprofessional and did not treat us well at all. We also ask for more towels. We never got them. The place overall is ran very poorly, the rooms were not cleaned properly, and they charge as much as they can for everything. We had to pay $40 to park in their parking lot. Overall, very poor experience.

I booked and paid for this property for my active-duty son and his sisters who were stranded in the Chicago Airport during the United flight shutdowns at the end of June. When my son got to the hotel, the desk staff found the reservation but told him that he needed to pay the room fee. They took his cash and didn't give him a receipt. I have been trying for over three weeks to get a refund from the hotel manager, and he will not return my calls. Wyndham customer service will not reply to my emails either. Do not recommend!
ETA: Two months later, the hotel still refuses to refund this double charge and booking.com also will not do anything. I've just disputed this with my CC. ALSO, the response from the hotel is ridiculous. They got paid twice, had the reservation on their books, and stole cash from an active-duty military member. Shameful.

I missed the shuttle. He passed without even stopping. After waiting 45 mn called the hotel they said no more shuttles. Had to take a taxi.

Good location just a short drive from Economy Parking at O'hare Airport. Very clean and modern. Room was a decent size and bed was comfortable.
We didn't like that we had to pay for parking. This is par for the course in a big city. We could hear alot of noise in the hallway.
