Swn Y Mor (pronounced 'Soon uh More') is a recently converted 200-year-old barn that formed part of the original farm. Set within a peaceful and picturesque countryside landscape near Llanfaethlu, the property overlooks Trefadog beach, just a stone's throw away at the bottom of the garden.

The magnificent accommodation is incredibly spacious, comprising four bedrooms that sleep up to 10 guests, with two bedrooms on the ground floor, making it ideal for family groups with toddlers, grandparents, or guests who have difficulties with stairs. The ground floor features high-quality wood flooring throughout, a fully equipped kitchen with a large range master cooker and an American-style double fridge freezer, and a farmhouse-style dining table that seats up to 10 guests. The kitchen diner flows out to the suntrap patio with a gas BBQ. You'll also find a utility room with a washer and dryer, a double bedroom with an oak-framed king-size bed, and a twin room with patio doors leading to the garden. A downstairs shower room and a guest toilet complete the ground floor.

The first floor boasts Swn Y Mor's ‘Jewel in the Crown' – a generous living room with a cathedral-style ceiling and glass window facade along one wall, offering uninterrupted views of the sea and Holyhead Mountain. The double doors open out onto a Juliette Balcony, creating a private observatory overlooking the Irish Sea. The living room is furnished with comfortable sofas, a deep pile leather chair, and a large flat-screen TV. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, flat-screen TV, dressing space with hand-built wardrobes, and an en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower, stand-alone bath, his and hers sinks, and skylights. The second first-floor bedroom is a large double bunk room with two full-size bunk beds, perfect for teenagers and younger guests. A family bathroom with a walk-in shower, sink, and toilet completes the first floor.

Swn Y Mor features an expansive sun-drenched patio and garden stretch down to the beach, providing direct access. Children, adults, and four-legged family members alike will love this idyllic outdoor haven. The property offers plenty of off-road parking and a garage with a washing machine and walk-in shower, perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach or washing sandy pets. There is also a pay-as-you-go EV charging point available for guests using the 'Charge Assist' app.

A fantastic holiday home in a great location. Well equipped and comfortable with amazing views. A stair gate upstairs would be a good idea.

We spent three nights at the property in April, what a beautiful location! Perfect for two young children and a dog. A little potter down the steps to the beach and a huge garden to run around! We were so lucky with the weather but even if we weren’t it would have a been a great house to hibernate. The living room views are the star of the show. We did find the check-in time of 5pm slightly late and requested an earlier time but the company were unable to accommodate. That was the only downside but otherwise we hugely recommend- a beautiful property.

We absolutely loved our stay. The location was beautiful with access to the beach straight from the garden. Fully equipped kitchen and underfloor heating made a perfect space to have a family celebration. Lots of space, our party of 9 (3 families) never felt on top of each other. Fabulous house, we would love to return.

This was our 2nd stay at Swn Y Mor and we wouldn't hesitate to go back again... The location is fabulous, you literally have your own beach at the bottom of the garden. Great starting point for those costal walks. Everything as the first time in the cottage was excellent, a few little things had been added since our last visit, like blinds on the upstairs windows, fabulous, and the fire had also been installed, just making things even better. Would highly recommend, thank you for another fabulous stay.

A fantastic place to stay. The kitchen diner was a great space and the view from the lounge was stunning. They have a huge range of dvds to choose from and the beach is literally at the end of the garden.

I can highly recommend staying here, my family and I loved it. The house was perfect with spectacular views. Plenty of space for our dogs to run in the garden and at the end of the garden wall was the beach. We most definitely will be booking here again. Our only downside is we didn’t book for longer.
