The whole place was super friendly and comfortable. We LOVED our afternoon in the treetop spa! What a treat!
The ensuite bathroom was really small! But this didn't really bother us!

Breakfast was ok
We thought that it was a spa. It turned out that only the the adults was able to use it for an extra expense. The children was very disapointed. The hotel was very untidy. Wery disapointed about paying 15k+ for three days and afterwards find out that by booking directly on the hotel webpage we could have get 50%off the stay. Other guests was wery frustrated about that as Well. The Hotel did not live up to the level

The layout of the room and the location
The lack of basic essentials in the room on arrival.
Clearly the room had not been inspected after maintenance / cleaning activities.
This would indicate a lack of discipline at the management level.

Cozy, good service, clean and comfortable big double bed in the ”older” superier room nr.2 where we stayed. definitely recommend this hotel/spa for couples. We will definitely come back.
not much view from our room, other rooms we saw have a lot better view.

The Tree Spa Hangout & Hotel is situated in a calm family home neighborhood in north Göteborg and is connected to the central station by a 45 minutes bus ride which works at the weekends days during the entire night. Due to an error of Booking.com I booked an one person room despite all being already in use. When I arrived at the hotel and the reception noticed it I got upgraded to an bigger two person room free of charge which was a pleasant surprise. The room was pretty, tastefully furnished, with a comfortable bed and with a good size for two people and their luggage, I had a lot. The hotel contains a restaurant, and the included breakfast was quite lavish containing British breakfast, variations of continental breakfast, cereals, nuts, fruits and muffins. I have to point out the helpful, friendly and funny personal.

great bar, restaurant and hang out area!
our room was outdated, few things were over due to be fixed or replaced.
no air con, very hot in our room. no fridge.
we came for the spa experience but it wasn't available until after 3pm.
not sure why we couldn't use a spa pool before 3pm. we had plans at 4pm both days so couldn't use it

Nothing
There was nobody at the desk when we arrived. The hotel is dirty and the room smelled bad. The owner basically said if we didn’t like it we could go to a hostel. He moved us to a different room which also grim. All the negative reviews are true and I wish I had read them as the positive came up first. If we had paid £80 we would have been disappointed but it was over £200.
The carpet on the stairs was filthy with stains and food debris.
It gave us a terrible first impression of Gothenburg.
Seriously do not stay here.
To use the spa costs £100 for 2 people !!!! The breakfast was better than we expected after the room. There is nothing to do in the area and a taxi from the airport was £50.

The bathrooms were very clean, that we appreciate.
The pictures in the internet were very beautiful about the rooms. But the reality were different, the first bedroom we got, the bathroom smells badly, and the service is not great. They promise you, you can use the wellness area for one hour and than you have to pay a lot extra. Very disappointed about that, our childs were looking forward to this.

Staff were very nice , breakfast was beyond delicious, bed super comfortable and jazzuzi as well . Dinner at their beautiful restaurant was amazing.
Their amazing Breakfast buffé in my opinion should be from 7 o’clock specialty if someone has to check out early and speaker in the room should have plug för iPhone and Android .

Breakfast was ok.
Staff was net very hospitable. The whole hotel is being renovated, so basically one big construction site.

I liked the friendly, hardworking staff. The food in restaurant was great! I liked the new upstairs outdoor bar and backyard. Good parking.
Overpriced. It's not fancy as the pictures and new front make it out to be. Tho they are finishing a brand new wing of the hotel. Bad location, really bad location. Facilities were closed sunday so a short weekend stay won't give you much time, if any, to use the free facilities (bubbelbath and sauna) . You can't sit up for long in evenings having drinks/being sosial. They close up early and then you are stuck in your room. Outdoor bar was never open. I don't have any other word to say it, so I will say it blunt : The owner/manager? (middel aged dark male) came across as greedy, wanting to make profit MORE than to be at service. It was embarrassing to witness. Luckily he has wonderful staff. To sisters and their mother(?) gave the hotel some much needed heart ♥

Super cozy but I would more compare it to a bed and breakfast to be completely honest. The staff are super friendly and it’s a great value for families if you book a double room. The staff are really accommodating and friendly and there are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options for breakfast.
It’s really more of a bed and breakfast and the main building desperately needs to be renovated. The interior of the main building desperately needs to be renovated and I hope it gets a face lift because I thought it was really cozy but my in-laws were extremely disappointed with the interior of the building and I ended up giving them the double room we booked because they didn’t feel comfortable staying in the main building which I get because someone was out late at night and stared into our rooms window until I chose to shut it… That person didn’t appear to be a guest at the hotel and never came into the building and didn’t see them on the premises after that. That was a little scary but the actual hotel was alright and a good value for the money.

Breakfast was ok. Location was a bit of a hassle I can imagine if you don’t have a car but parking available was a huge plus.
Rooms were clean. Beds were super comfortable and the staff were so friendly.
Bathrooms were extremely dated and showers should really be fixed. There wasn’t shampoo and conditioner in every room. It felt like the hotel needed security… not all of my family members felt that the location was the safest.

The location was good, calm & quite
Cleanliness & maintenance
1. Jacuzzi nozzles were getting detached
2. Dirty water from Jacuzzi
3. No hot water for one evening
4. Wash basic was clogged with waste
5. Commode was moving when you sit or get off from it.
6. Wasn’t convinced on the day of arrival harmony spa wasn’t ready, since they didn’t expect guest (ours was advance booking)

Food
We could find cowebs on the ceiling lights. The cushions on the bed smelled of sweat. The hairdryer in the bathroom was broken. We had to pay extra for the bathslippers and the bathrobes in a spa hotel. Over all it was a very expensive stay for a hotel like that. We had stayed in Radisson blue or riverton with similar price for 2 nights. Wanted to try something different and tried this place, but not for a second time . Rooms were not at all like how it was in the pictures. Very disappointed. But the service and food was good, very customer friendly service. Hope the other factors would be considered.
