Charming hotel at the heart of Aix-en-Provence

The hotel was in a fantastic location, right in the heart of Aix-en-Provence. All the main sightseeing spots and countless cafes and restaurants were within easy walking distance. I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, but there were plenty of affordable cafes and restaurants nearby. If I remember correctly, the hotel was renovated from an old monastery or convent, which gives it a charming, peaceful, medieval atmosphere. Needless to say, all the hotel staff were very friendly. The room was cozy and just right for two people. If we had only brought carry-on-sized luggage, it would have been perfect, but since we were on a two-week trip, our larger bags made it a bit tight. Otherwise, the room, complete with a bathtub, was clean and comfortable. ホテルの場所はエクサン・プロバンスの中心にあり、多くの観光スポットやレストランは徒歩圏でした。私達はホテルで朝食を取りませんでしたが、朝から営業しているお手頃価格で楽しめるカフェやレストランがたくさんありました。もし私の記憶が正しければ、このホテルは古い修道院を改修した建物で、中世の素敵な雰囲気を醸し出しています。勿論言うまでもなく、ホテルのスタッフは皆さんフレンドリーでした（英語も堪能でした）。部屋は多少狭く感じました。もし、私達のスーツケースが機内持ち込みサイズであれば問題なかったのですが、２週間の長期旅行で大きなカバンだったので、広げる場所はベッドの上しかありませんでした。その事を除くと、風呂も付いている掃除の行き届いた良い部屋でした。

Sunshine filled our room and our hearts. Very happy vacation in a beautiful hotel.🩷

Breakfast was great and good value. Service and selection wonderful. Just entering the hotel we were thrilled. Lobby, staff and room great. We were very happy with our stay and cannot wait to return. The location was perfect, quiet room and comfortable bed.

We loved our stay, nothing we didn’t like.

Bathroom. Toilet roll positioned behind toilet requiring contortionism. Heated towel rail/towels immediately below shower head ?!

Pour l'emplacement et le cadre historique magnifique

Les parties communes, la salle du petit déjeuner qui est très belle, la localisation à deux pas du cours Mirabeau, le cadre historique (ancien couvent), le personnel très agréable

La propreté des lieux était insuffisante (vasque grasse, table sale dans la chambre, sol pas lavé), tuyau de la machinerie de ventilation contre la fenêtre vue sur mur (bruit toute la nuit), eau chaude à peine tiède, baignoire et vasque usées

it was ok for 1 night but would have been disappointed if we had to stay longer.

it’s location was central to the town.

although it took almost 1 hour to find. if you are fruits a nightmare to find. very basic facilities. had to ask for toilet roll as only had the end of the previous guests toilet roll. phone had no way to contact reception & no information regarding breakfast or restaurant times. lift only went up so far & we had to drag a big case up stairs to our room. only had 1 key for the room so it was semiofficial we wanted tp split up & go separate ways.

Convenient mid-town location and a basic hotel.

This old hotel is in the center of AIX, so it is at the center of the action. The room was small and very basic but it was in town. Parking was difficult, a place nearby that was hard to get to, and hard to find. But you could get a flavor of the town by looking out the window and the huge beautiful town fountain square was a minute walk away.

Rooms were dated and simple but everything worked. Staff was ok. We went out for breakfast but it was available at the hotel. Next time in Aix we will look harder, but it was ok.

Very comfortable beds, wonderful staff, great location

Wonderful friendly staff, very comfortable bed, toilet separate from bathroom, great location just off cours Mirabeau and 5 min from SNCF train station (the TGV train station is out of town, the number 40 bus will take you there).

The shower didn't work! I couldn't wash my hair. One of the bedside lamps didn't work either.

Nice hotel that needs an update.

Great location. the foyer is really impressive and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The hot water system is really terrible. it took forever to get any hot water made worse by the lack of labels for hot and cold. There was a shortage of hot water on the second day.

Really comfortable!

I liked the building, the room, the location, the cleanliness and the people who were very friendly. I also liked the painting on top of the bed. Breakfast yummy.

The pillow was a bit too high.
