I loved the traditional theme and location, beds were really comfortable, and the mini bar was great.
Just turned out a bit expensive in comparison to my other stays.

Perfect location for visiting Kew, Kew Gardens, and the National Archives, all within walking distance. Great having our own entrance, and easy access to local transport. (bus stop across the road)
Nothing.

Most of all the amazing staff who make you feel like family since the first time you are in. They are always there for you in everything you need. They are the dream team!

breakfast was exceptional, the staff could not do more for you. Food was fantastic. If you get the chance stay here. Rooms much more spacious than a hotel room.
Shower controls a little quirky. No other complaints.

Great location and very friendly, welcoming staff. Room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the extras such as coffee machine, toaster and fridge with fresh milk every day. The tearoom downstairs was great for breakfast.
The bathroom - although it was very clean and we were well supplied with towels, it was extremely small, there was very little room in it to put anything and the lighting was poor, A light and mirrored cabinet over the sink would help.

It was not a room, it was a small apartment, with fridge, separate room and a big wardrobe.
It was difficult to open the windows and there were dogs in the courtyard, therefore I wasn't sure if I could open the window (it was on the same altitude as the courtyard and theoretically dogs could have entered the froom through the window)

It was spotlessly clean & the staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful.
When we first were going to book it was £420, when we did book it was £240. Had we paid the higher price we would not have been so happy. The space around the bed is very tight.

Amazing location and 18th century style furnishings. Just the right balance of modern amenities. The staff, ciaran and nevi in particular were very kind and welcoming

The location for Kew Gardens and parking on site.
The tiny tired shower room with mini sink in a king suite.

Location was excellent and easy to get into central london as well as lots to do in the local area. Food in the cafe was amazing and really good value. Service from everyone was so friendly.
We went during very hot weather and the room was very warm despite having a massive fan provided

Rooms in a building attached to the Maids Tea Rooms, where you have breakfast. Excellent food. Across from Kew Gardens. Approx 10mins walk to Kew underground station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice comfortable room. They give you a parking permit for local parking.

Well stocked mini bar……..but no bottle opener!!
Helpful staff when we needed parking permits
No one on site when the tea rooms were closed.

Accommodation was larger than expected, beautifully furnished. Benefitted from off-road parking which was a real bonus as we used the excellent public transport links. Superb breakfasts with a wide variety of options.
Would have been nice if we could have had breakfast earlier than 10am when the shop opens.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and quaint. We would stay again.

Perfect location for my trip to Kew Gardens and Hampton Court but I would also choose to return for any visit to London as so much more relaxing than being in the centre. The setting over a lovely cafe is a bonus, room was extremely thoughtfully equipped and the staff were very welcoming. An enjoyable destination in itself - way above my expectations!
Some guests might find stairs steep as it is an old building with character. I used train and buses (stop outside) so can't comment on parking.

Convenient to Kew Gardens and Kew Pier for a Thames boat trip
Accommodation access needs updating perhaps.

Very comfortable room, really close to Kew gardens, and excellent tea room. The food was exceptional!

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff & this continued throughout our stay.
Bonus having a cafe & bakery below our room. Food was excellent and good value for money. We would recommend their takeaway picnic baskets. You could also sit in and enjoy them too
It was easy to park near the Guest Rooms.
Bus stops only a few yards away & tube about 5 mins walk.
Sadly tea rooms closed on Monday when we left, which we hadn't realised, so couldn't order another takeaway picnic before we left for home.

Proximity to Kew, plenty of places to eat within a couple of minutes walk. All the staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly.
Room very dated, entrance and hallway also dated and a bit shabby, view from bedroom of a flat roof with discarded insulation boards and ladders etc. Bathroom in Dire need of an upgrade,

The accommodation was well located, comfortable, clean and even provided a parking space. We were delighted with the facilities and it was just a short walk to the train station.
There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Pleasant, old fashioned, but interesting
there was no ventilation or window in the toilet
shabby carpet on the entrance
