This home that the owners have cleverly dubbed the “stones throw from Main” what is the perfect place to spend a week in the mountains of North Carolina. It was easy to walk to coffee, lunch and dinner. The home was well appointed and comfortable and perfect for my needs. Highly recommended!

This little house was adorable inside and out. Extremely convenient to Main Street. It was also pet friendly, and the fenced in yard was great.
4.7
The property location was fantastic. It was close and a convenient walk to everything in town. The only drawback is that it is on a very busy and noisy street corner.
4.7
Location was excellent to walk the dogs downtown. Had a great trip house was perfect .
4.7
Cozy and clean and very close to shops and food. Nice little get away

We loved the location and the accommodations were what we expected. A couple of days in, we saw a mouse run by while we were watching tv in the living room. We closed up where it went to and contacted the property manager a couple of times, and they never contacted us back nor did anything about it… The location is great, but mice in the home is too much for me.

We parked our car on arrival Friday and didn’t move it again until check out Sunday. Everything we needed for a nice cozy weekend!

Love Love Love.Situated right around the block from downtown Waynesville you can walk to shops .House has a fenced yard for privacy.Well maintained old home so cute.No dishwasher or washer/dryer which was fine with me.Front porch with rockers.

Great

The location is in a great area. You can walk to downtown and be there in two minutes. If you need to grocery shop or make a run to Walmart it is a 5 minute drive. Only 20 minute drive or so to Asheville. Wonderful location. The views are awesome.
4.7
Great location to downtown and was perfect for our quick 2-night getaway to see the fall colors and do some hiking.
4.7
Had trouble with tv and oven. Property manager was not helpful. They had cleaning lady text and she was no help. Very disappointing

The home was great. It was perfectly sized for me and my husband. The house was so close to downtown (just around the corner); we had a great dinner at the Japanese restaurant. The kitchen, while tiny, was perfect for bacon and for appetizers when our family came over to visit. The host was very responsive.
This home is very charming and we will book again. Strongly recommend.

The location of the property is its biggest asset. It was just right for my wife and I and our pup. It is literally one block off Main Street. We could visit the shops downtown and return home when we needed to. Because of its location a “Stones Throw from Everyting” we expected traffic but it wasn’t much of a noise problem at all.
4.7
We were very pleased that we chose this location. A nice place to stay while we visited family and the surrounding area.
4.7
We enjoyed our stay and the ability to walk easily to Main Street. Great for a long weekend away in the mountains.
4.7
It’s small but exactly what I wanted. My son stayed with us for a couple of nights and my grandkids stayed on the futon, so while only 2 bedrooms, there was still plenty of room for us all. The fenced in yard was perfect for my 3 small dogs and it was convenient to everything. I would definitely stay here again.

This little cottage is in a great location. We walked downtown several times. Night strolls through downtown were a nice, quiet and relaxing end to the day. We loved the rockers on the front porch. Sitting there drinking our coffee in the mornings or relaxing at the end of the day was nice. While there, we visited Maggie Valley, Cherokee and hiked Waterrock Knob off the Blue Ridge Parkway. All were short drives.
The one thing I would like to point out is that the parking is in what looks like a vacant lot behind the house, not a driveway. It took us a minute to figure this out. Once we figured it out, it was very easy to park with a shade tree to park under.
4.7
Our second time here. Charming, well equipped, clean and a fantastic location. Will stay again.
4.7
The location was perfect, maybe one minute and you're walking the main drag in Waynesville.
Quiet and safe. It feels almost isolated but you are downtown.
Dog friendly with great dog fence.
Clean. We spoke to a representative in person at arrival. She coached us on good restaurants and got us a reservation for exactly what my wife wanted a block or so away.
The heating system: excellent for a cold day!
We'll be back!

This treasure hidden in downtown Waynesville, NC NEVER disappoints!! This cozy cottage is truly a stone's throw from down town Waynesville. We walked to several restaurants: The Scotsman, Sweet Onion, and all the shops downtown. The warmth of the fireplace and the quietness of the neighborhood was truly restful. We were able to recharge and relax. We found a cross stitch shop within walking distance and then drove to a yarn shop in Maggie Valley. Not having to drive everywhere is truly a plus with this sweet home. The sunrise was beautiful over the mountains this time of year too. Just cannot say enough good things about this home. It is the epitome of being in the mountains, but being right downtown! Will be back soon!!!! Additionally, it was so clean and sweet wonderful. The rocking chairs on the front porch were delightful and we sat on the back porch and did some knitting and cross stitch. We are already planning our next stay in this beautiful cottage! Plus it has great WIFI and a nice size TV.
4.7
Just a perfect place to rest when you wanted or go and visit downtown Waynesville. It was just perfect for us. We’ll be back!
4.7
We've been visiting Waynesville for many years. Compared to other places we've stayed, this house was the closest to downtown. It offered the privacy of a separate residence that we appreciated. We got to enjoy the "fireplace" as the rain and cooler temps combined made us chilly. Both beds were comfortable. My wife ended up in the twin bed due to a back issue. While being on a main road, there was little traffic noise. We sat on the porch and rocked. We enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk downtown to eat and shop. Waynesville is such a wonderful place. This cute house added to our enjoyment.
4.7
Dated, but efficient. The only thing lacking is washer/dryer, but it is a small house, so makes sense. Great location, good parking, comfy bed, even a garden grill and chairs.
4.7
The house was perfect for our 3 day trip. The fenced in back yard made in convenient for our 2 dogs. The location was nice with a great place to park and turn around. If you walked 100 feet, you were on the main drag of downtown Waynesville. Most every store had a dog friendly sign. We spoke with a property person who was very helpful and even got us a reservation for supper just minutes away. It was cool outside so I set the heat to 72; minutes later, the house was perfect. The neighborhood was perfect; we had great privacy with no worries. It sure beats a hotel.
4.7
This was a beautiful cottage in a great location. They were pet friendly which was a huge plus for us so we could bring our dogs. We greatly enjoyed our stay and if we are back in the area again we will definitely stay there.
4.7
Our second visit to this property. Clean, well equipped and very, very close to all the amenities of downtown Waynesville, We'll stay here again.
