The man who met me upon arrival was lovely. Showed me the door code, took my bag upstairs and told me everything I needed to know.
Bed bugs in my bed. I have proof of this. I did not find just one but I found several…

Very much what I expected, and therefore satisfactory. The proprietor was very helpful, as my husband has mobility limitations.
Couldn't get the shower to work properly.

The ONLY thing that was good about this place is it’s location because it’s really near the town centre.
When I arrived I was greeted at the door by a man I assumed was the manager. There was no reception so he handled my checking in process in the hallway. After that he then proceeded to show me my room, the room had a very weird smell that seemed to be coming from the bathroom. You couldn’t even air the room out because the window handle was broken. Also the smoke alarm had been covered up with tape. God forbid if there was a fire you would have no way of escape. The wall by the bed was dirty and there was graffiti on the door. I was a bit apprehensive to get into the bed because the sheets didn’t look clean so I just slept in my clothes on top of the quilt. Also there wasn’t any heating in the room and it was so cold I had to sleep with my coat on!
I also had to put a towel over my face to try and stop that smell because it became unbearable.
This is all after I managed to get into the actual building.
I arrived back after my night out to find another guest outside desperate to get in because the digital keypad wasn’t working. I asked if he had rang the “manager” he said he had but there was no answer. I then tried the keypad myself and had the same result. I then rang the “manager” myself and there wasn’t any answer. There isn’t ANY staff at this place so if there’s any issues you might as well forget about it. Anyway after about 45 min and ringing the “manager” several times (with no answer) the keypad suddenly lights up and we manage to get into the building. This is absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed at. If there was a minus rating for this place I would definitely give it one. To charge £49 a night to stay at this place is extortion to say the least.
It also seems to have people actually living at this place.
Anyone that is considering staying here I highly recommend you don’t.
You’ve been warned!

Nothing it’s a run down house desperately in need of full refurbishment, stains on the walls, stains on bed sheets and pillowcases very unclean random pubes and dead insects
Everything, fortunately I had a sleeping bag with me and slept in that instead of getting into a bed I couldn’t guarantee had been washed from the previous occupant, stairs were narrow everything needed a coat of paint highly overpriced at £60 was more of £16 a night place, very scruffy, see photo of Pube on bed and dead insect in bathroom, I could write pages of faults for this place, avoid unless your homeless

Close to town
The manager excuse us of taking his door key which we left at the door. For heaven sake we lives in London and will not be coming back so why will we take your key? Very stupid

No breakfast facilities
The property is a health and safety risk. Only window the would open was a very small bathroom one. The main window was screwed shut. When I questioned this to the owner he shrugged his shoulders and said well they haven’t had a fire before so he couldn’t see the problem. We had no main light in the room because of an electrical problem.

The property was exceptionally good value for money; the bed was bigger than I'd anticipated, the location was perfect for a short walk into town centre, and the host was always available to assist with any queries I had.
The entrance to the property was a little difficult to find initially, and my checking in after dark didn't help that fact, but this was only an issue upon first arriving. Once I'd settled in, it wasn't a problem again.
