We are in a residential community where you will find privacy, but the neighbors are just around the corner.
After you park you will follow the winding square tile path down to the waterfront side of the back of the house and enter our inlaw-suite via a private patio. Just enter the door code provided prior to your arrival. You are the only one with access to this space during your stay.
This is an entire private basement apartment with a private entrance, but the driveway and outdoor spaces are shared.
Since this is a shared building, though your space is private, the homeowner asks that you abstain from cooking with distinct spices like curry or strong smelling seafood and fish. If you are unsure, don’t hesitate to ask!
** OUT ON THE WATER INFORMATION**
The homeowner has 3 single kayaks, 1 double kayak, and 4 paddle boards available for your enjoyment during your stay.
Please shoot the homeowner a text or call when you're ready to hit the water. He'll be happy to guide you to where the life jackets, paddles, and other gear are kept. His phone number will be in the Welcome Guide Binder when you arrive at the home.

Our family of four (and dog) thoroughly enjoyed this scenic and homey property. Everything we needed was at our fingertips with a grocery store just five minutes away.

Beautiful entire basement with separate entrance and beautiful views of water. Very comfortable spot for our one year old, the two of us, and our dog. Hosts were very friendly and responsive. Excellent location near great food, outdoor and historical sights, Annapolis. Highly recommend!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Gary and Michelle’s basement property. We ran into them a few times and they are wonderful, approachable, and generous hosts and we really enjoyed spending time using the SUPs and tubes on the water! The property was very clean and had everything advertised.
The only downside was communication with the property management group: it was one sided (them sending us messages and they never responded to our questions) which included alerting us, less than one week before our stay, that the property was without AC and having a toddler, we needed more information than what was provided to feel able to prepare properly. It ended up being fine given the solves Gary put in place but there was a learning curve with the one unit that was in the main bedroom and we unfortunately learned how to properly use it after a rough’s night of 3 hours of sleep for the rest of the trip. There were a few other question messages of ours that went unaddressed as well.
Overall, we highly recommend Gary and Michele as hosts but I’m not sure that I’d recommend the property management group again.

We had a great weekend staying at Waterside. The kitchen was well appointed, the views were great and big comfy couch is as big as it looks on the pictures. And despite the peaceful location, the property is minutes away from great dining and a very short drive to Annapolis. Owners couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay and spread out while my mom was in hospice. My kids took advantage of kayaks and paddle boards. I’d highly recommend this rental. Unfortunately my mom passed last night.

We could not have found a better venue to stay. The owners are really the best i don’t know if there are any better. It was really a great stay probably the best we’ve ever had. The savings were HUGE. I don’t think better savings exist in the history of our country. I believe this venue is is our future stay every time we come to this area.

We very much enjoyed our stay.
The property was gorgeous, with hardscaping, on the waterfront. Private entrance for renters. Instruction notebook with water/snacks at entrance.
The kitchen was clean and pretty with all that we needed. The bedrooms were so clean and cozy.
The neighborhood was very dog friendly.
We kayaked and paddle boarded, worked a puzzle and played Scrabble.

My family and I were in town for two lacrosse tournaments (Crab Feast and Naptown Challenge) and this property was perfect. Being able to cook a few meals and do some laundry makes a big difference. The kids enjoyed the paddle boards daily. The property owners were very nice. The only thing that would've made the stay better would be a grill.
