Only one hiccup: the auto setting on the thermostat was malfunctioning so I had to actively turn on and off the heater blower or else it would never turn on on it’s own - had to get up a couple time each night to turn the heater on even tho it was already set to heat, auto…not a big deal, really, I routinely boondock (sleep in the car by choice) in order to get the best light for the photos I like to take so I was grateful for the bed and fridge.
Anyway, great little spot, I would dread being here in-season due to it being Branson and the parking situation is tight on site at the cottages; however, Mill Creek Resort was the perfect secluded-ish getaway for a solo or couple during off-season (winter).

My grades; Bed=A, entrance to cabin=C-, kitchen=B+, bath=C+, furniture=C-, parking=D, Storage=D, internet=D+, lighting=C, front porch=A-. Parking, lack of storage outside of kitchen, and very poor internet were area's of complaints [no parking available so you parked on a hill which made one side difficult to exit and the other difficult to enter,]. The internet was so slow even emails took minutes to open [used my cell]. Since during peak season a 3 day stay is required there is no real storage for clothing etc. Less than desirable; the entryway for cabin 4 was steep with lots of steps not ideal for us older folks. The couch was very uncomfortable and kitchen and outdoor chairs were shakey. Strong likes, wonderful bed, great kitchen, and fantastic front porch to sit on.

Nice and clean. It is off the beaten path is what we enjoyed. We ate at two local restaurants that were close to cabin. Both had excellent food. Cabin was completely furnished with stove, fridge and cooking supplies. Not a bad drive to go in to Branson. Actually we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. Short drive to Dogwood Canyon,Branson Belle and not a bad drive to Springfield.

Less than five minutes to the Black Oak Amphitheater. Cottage was perfect for two and close to the pool and lake. Loved the availability of paddle boards, kayaks and paddle boat. Pool area was very nice with lots of sun/shade seating options. Perfect place to stay if you are wanting to enjoy the lake without the crowds. Highly recommend.

Our cabin was immaculate, homey, and comfortable. The bathroom was absolutely shining in every respect and fixtures gleamed. Especially handy was the bath gel, shampoo and conditioner dispenser that eliminated having to take these items into the shower area. Towels and wash cloths were plentiful and additional (if needed) were available in the laundry building, a few steps away. Our host and greeter, Mike, was friendly, helpful, and informative of attractions and interesting things to do in the Lampe/Branson area. Nice boat dock with super inviting Adirondack chairs to relax in with a nice view of Table Rock Lake. Met some nice folks in two other cabins and spent part of an evening visiting with one couple. Enjoyable, comfortable, clean, and reasonably priced!

Very nice quite property on the lake. Short drive to Dogwood Canyon which is awesome. Very easy checkin and checkout. Bedroom was a little close so left suitcases in living room. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. Actually better than some hotels we’ve stayed at. Water pressure in shower was weak but made it. Adequate accommodation for the trip. Didn’t have time to check out the dock area and late in season for pool. Friendly staff and would recommend place to stay for a nice getaway.

Everything was wonderful! Rob & Lisa met us and showed us to our cottage. We had everything we needed. It was incredibly peaceful. We were able to sit on the porch in the rocking chairs and enjoy the quiet. There was no traffic noise & no loud neighbors. We were close enough to Kimberling City to get the groceries we needed for our weekend stay. We were close to everything (30 min drive or less) but far enough away to enjoy solitude. We were also visited by Zoe, a resort dog! :) We will absolutely be back!
