Clean, roomy, and helpful staff
Nothing much except the pool side halo- halo was not the same like what we had the last time we stayed there.

Amazing buffet breakfast. There was a large choice for breakfast.
Location was excellent. There was a mall attached to the hotel with many restaurants/cafes.
All the staff were so friendly and also very accommodating with the children.

We had four pillows, something not always guaranteed. We also arrived around 5am & the hotel was able to accommodate us for our very late check-in.
That we had to check out! ☺️

the staff at the lounge, front desk and security personnel were outstanding
I would like recognize Sugar for going above all in the lounge on the ground floor.
very attentive, very helpful with locals things to do around manila.
the staff for breakfast, not very attentive. I understand it’s a 5 star hotel. But to me based on how we dressed they weren’t very attentive to me and my wife. servers always forgot about us, waited long time for coffee, our bill

It was very close to an event I had to go to, location is convenient.
The room is spacious.
It was also very easy to request from housekeeping.
Cleanliness is a bit so-so. Found some strands of hair here and there :(
The toiletries were also limited as compared to other hotels who offer shaver, comb, sewing kit.

Buffet was INCREDIBLE, beds were SO comfortable, the rooms were huge and marble everything. But the most out standing feature was the staff. They went up and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy. They were sooo polite and accommodating. I would go back JUST for the staff even though the entire hotel was gorgeous. Shout out to Rayann from the hospitality staff as he even made me a traditional Phillipino dessert from the buffet.
There was a faint smell in the rooms.

Upon arrival, it was Dalton who checked us in and catered to our family’s needs in a snap. We were welcomed at the Executive lounge by Cecilia’s vibrant personality. The food platters tasted great and there was ample selection of canapés and drinks. We had breakfast the next day and it was Daren who assisted us find the perfect seating for our headcount. Ali was assigned to our table and she provided phenomenal, top notch service! Our stay made Father’s day extra special because of the staff.
The bidet’s orientation and pressure quality is not up to par with other 5-star hotels.

excellent location as it is very close to the international airport, and the Newport mall which has many dining options and shops.
the ground floor cafe doesn't have lot of food options

Room was clean as you would expect for a major International hotel group - nothing special given the $280 room rate and the fact there is insufficient sound insulation for a noisy location
TREATED LIKE PROCESS FODDER!
We booked this room over 7 months prior and asked for a room with a quiet location - this was acknowledged by the hotel at the time. When we got to check in we were given our key and I asked if it was in a quiet location - Dom/Don who checked us in fobbed us off by telling me that it was. On arriving at the room it was directly next to the runway which could be seen from our window. So after a long tiring journey we had to go through the process of going back to reception and changing the room. Dom/Don ignored us and we were eventually dealt with (there was now another queue!) after the need to explain the issue twice with 2 separate staff. The second room was better but none off the rooms have adequate double glazing to reduce noise - it is just basic thickness so you get noise either from the road, runway or from the competing Musaks in the SHARED pool area.
The pool area smelt of sewage and the water was not clean - I mentioned this to the pool barman - he said it was normal
DOUBLE CHARGED
At check in I was charged the full room rate $280 + an $87 deposit. At check out I assumed the deposit would be returned - instead I was charged the full room rate again - so total charge of $647 for 1 night!. When I realised I messaged "Customer services" and was told by PJ that I had not been double charged. this was handled very badly by PJ and took over a week to get a refund - maybe Hilton Manila need guests money to help their cash flow - totally unacceptable practise

I liked the atmosphere, hospitality, cleanliness and food!
My plane was due to arrive just after midnight so I was made to add an extra day in order to check-in at such a late time. Unfortunately, my flight was delayed so I missed my connecting flight so I arrived what would have been in time for checkin. I asked if I’d be reimbursed for the extra day as I no longer needed it for late check-in and I was told no!

My family and I stayed at the Hilton to celebrate my wife's birthday. I requested for a simple birthday card to be placed in our room as a way of surprising my wife. The staff I corresponded with gladly agreed to do it, but they didn't stop there. They strung a "happy birthday" banner across the window and put large, colored balloons on the floor of the room. This gesture was so heartwarming and so unexpected that my wife shed tears of joy.
I loved how well Hilton staff attended to our queries and requests. Not once did I hear someone say "no, can't do that" to any of our questions. They always had an answer to satisfy us. One time, my wife and I had a craving for congee. We went to the Hua Yuan Chinese Restaurant to see if it was on the menu. The waiter said it wasn't, but he asked us to take a seat so that he could talk to the chef. He went into the kitchen and a few minutes later he returned with a big bowl of really delicious congee.
The room was very clean and well-appointed. Housekeeping was very responsive with our needs, especially with requests to replace towels and linen, and to replenish toiletries, water, and coffee/tea packets.
The buffet breakfast included was simple, but outstanding. We had Asian, Indian, Filipino, Japanese, and Western options. Breakfast hours were until 10:30 a.m. which was perfect for my kids who like getting up late whenever staying at a hotel.
The gym may not be that big, but it has everything one would need for a great workout while on vacation. The pool is huge and heated. There's a bar right at the poolside to serve drinks.
The property's location is perfect. Newport Mall, just across the road, is connected directly to the property through an overhead, covered walkway. Great restaurants are aplenty at the mall. A Catholic Church is close by and so my wife and I just walked over to attend Mass.
Just a minor thing: the shower area floor was too shallow that water flowed from it to the toilet area.

This was my second stay there in a week. I was overall very satisfied.
Front desk reception asked for my passport at check-in for ID but didn't return it (and I didn't notice). Hours later on I noticed my passport missing. I called the front desk. It took them about 20 minutes to find it. Why didn't they notice they had it and called me so I didn't need to panic for 20 minutes (I flying out hours later)?

Front Desk - Rude staff and non-accommodating
Concierge - this department phone calls are not responded promptly. As a concierge regardless of how busy you are the phones should always be answered. What is the point of having them if they do not answer the phone.
Security - People in this department should have a little bit more common sense and be flexible enough to guest that are staying over two days especially when they see them in and out daily. If you are waiting for your rental car to be brought to you but took too long and you just want to go back inside the lobby to stay away from the hot weather. Is it Necessary for the guest to keep going to the same screening door? Of Which by the way was different treatment from the men security the day before. They did not make a big fuss about it. They actually offered and suggested for me to go back inside as supposed to wait outside.Sometime you have 3 or 4 people at the screening door doing nothing. If you really want the guest stay to be more pleasant and convenient you want to accommodate them and not make it difficult for them. Also these women security thinks they have more authority over men think again. Not a good practice and you’re just upsetting too many guest.
Parking/Valet - On our first night when we checked-in our rental car with the valet service it was fine except the following morning when we asked them to fetched the car, when they brought it back the car smelled like a dead rat or a sewer. Where did they take the car or parked the car that it smelled that way. Did someone took the car for a joyride and trash it or what, Still did not get any answer about this. What a horrible smell.
Room service - is great! The staff never fails to smile and always ready to help when you need something no matter how tired they are. “KUDOS” to these staff.
Dining;
During Breakfast:
CONS:
1. Welcoming staff literally “Blurts” out your room number and name in front of the other guest. No privacy at all.
2. The process are very slow
3. Breakfast staff were not very enthusiastic as if they are on their monthly period all the time.
4. Certain food are not cook very good.
5. Hard to approach the staff for any help
6. On our last day of breakfast someone ask if I wanted something hot to drink and I asked if they finally have a vanilla extract and the person said No, but they can replace it with something else. But that’s about it she never came back. Later in the middle of my breakfast another person came to pick up used dishes and I ask what happen to the alternate latte and said he has no clue, but will rush and make it now.
During Dinner:
CONS:
1. No privacy, they also yell out your room number and your name
2. Certain Filipino foods are not cooked with correct ingredients or cooked authentic.
3. Western Food - Seafoods are overcooked regardless of whether breakfast or dinner.
4. Indian Food - you can tell that the food are not freshly cook whether from day ago or 2 days before same thing.
5. Chinese and Japanese cuisine seems to be in the same spot and hard to tell which one is which.
6. Juices are too sweets
7. Coffee and Lattes - The first time I ask someone to make me a vanilla latte I was told that the vanilla extract was not available. The next day I asked I was told that they are still out and if I am willing to wait the staff offered if they could go out and buy some Starbucks. Of course I told him no need. The 3rd time I gave up.
PROS:
1. Staff are much more friendlier and more at ease and offers help even comes out from behind the counter to help dish out the food if they see you struggling.
Swimming POOL:
1. It is too chaotic. No separation between family with screaming children and single person here for business you can't relax.

- Perfect in room services (24h)

Location was fantastic and the manager was amazing at sorting out issues.
1. First room was dirty
2. They served us pork in the executive lounge even though we told them we couldn't eat pork . The manager then gave us a free buffet dinner downstairs but overall not happy. Stick to marriot if you can.
