Helpful, friendly staff. Clean room. They tried to fulfill our needs even amongst their refurbishment. The staff walked us to our taxi as the hotel is located in an alley. We felt safe. Beds are comfortable. I am sure that it will be beautiful again when the work is finished. Lovely views.
We missed the restaurant and rooftop because of the refurbishment going on. We took a deep breath from the taxi when we saw the alley entrance as this was our first visit to Old Dehli, but it was just fine.

Had a good roof top view.
Price of a beer would change depending on who brought it to my room each night. One night the price jumped Rs 850 for one. It felt suspicious.

The property was right in the middle of the market
Arriving at midnight to check in down a dark unfamiliar alley with people sleeping in doorways

The location in the Old City meant we were right in the thick of things, and it was also close to the Metro line. There was a rooftop where we had breakfast every day except when it was drizzling. Good local breakfast.
Used my thongs (flipflops) in the bathroom, and they also supplied, so not sure if needed to.
They had a lift.
The electricity was attached to the keyfob so only on when in the room, including the fridge. The hot water was turned off at night, often before they said it would be - cold showers most days.

Location is very near to Red fort and Jama mosque.
Location is alos in a dingy poorly lit alley. Its full of filth and commercial spaces around it only. Not comfortable for female or couples. Only single males will be Ok. Most residents are single males and local indians who are staying at the hotel for personal need. For travelers, better off with other options.

Don't be fooled by unprepossessing entrance down laneway off Esplanade Road. Hotel is clean and comfortable inside with great views of Red Fort and Jama Masid mosque from roof. Food is very good and room service available 24 hours. Staff very friendly.
You have to ask for toilet paper.

It’s my 3rd time in Delhi and I always choose to stay in this hotel. Its location is perfect for me, right in the middle of Chandni Chowk and Jama Masjid. This area is the perfect introduction to any first time visitor to India. It’s so historical and colorful. Almost every popular Indian food can be found here. Veg at Chandni Chowk and Non-veg at Jama Masjid. You will love all these food especially the street food in Chandni Chowk. The hotel has a nice rooftop with a great view of Jama Masjid and Red Fort, both walking distance from the hotel. The nearest subway station is Lal Qila (3-minute walk) and from here you can go to the many attractions around Delhi. This hotel has good wife and good in-room food menu. :)
occasional noise from room renovations but nothing major

Staff Is very kind and helpful (we managed to organize most of our weeks in India), rooms are clean, very close to Red Fort and right in the middle of old Delhi.
It's located in a dark lateral small street, as a woman i didn't feel safe at all, it's full of men looking at you as if you were a piece of meat. I strongly recommend to avoid this hotel if you are a woman, particularly if solo traveller.
Regarding the structure, the First night we were briefley visited by a mouse in our room. In addiction there were some kind of work done in the hotel so there was quite the noise. It also happened that in the middle of night (00.30) someone started hammering right in front of our room (after calling reception they said it was the smith because someone had lost their keys and hotel didn't had a spare one).

The staff went above and beyond to help us while we were there. The location of the hotel is very close to local attractions and lots of markets. The food was amazing, and roof top terrace where we enjoyed dinner was breathtaking. Would absolutely stay there again on our next trip.
Don't let the alley put you off... We arrived after dark and were a bit unsure of the alley entrance. It's a straight walk to the hotel and all was fine.

Excellent location. Walking distance to Laal Qila and Chandani Chowk Market. If you want to shop lehengas and other wedding clothing, this place will help you save a lot of commute time. Nearby metro station is also a plus.
