Nothing luxury about this place. Overpriced.

The staff very very polite and nice.

I don’t even know where to begin. Firstly for the astronomical prices and selling this as a luxury hotel, it was far from it. I stayed at a hostel in Minca prior to coming here that felt for luxurious. There was no internet in the rooms, one hair dryer for the entire place, it barely worked. No hangers for clothes. One iron for entire venue. The room was filled with mosquitos and finally after my daughter was eaten alive a kind staff member offered a mosquito net and to bug bomb the room. We paid at check in and paid again at check out as is standard. After leaving the hotel said they had missed charging us a portion of our bill. We said we’d review it as we believed we’d settled up, after which we were repeatedly harassed while trying to enjoy the remainder of our holiday. Obviously we’re happy to settle it up but wanted a chance to have a look as it was a substantial charge they were claiming we owed. Food was average.

Great stay

The property is beautiful and the rooms are extremely well kept and put together too. The cleaners come in each day and do a great job but the best thinks about this hotel is the staff! One person in particular is ruby who works in the restaurant team and is exceptional at her job. It helps to speak Spanish here but if you don’t then no worries, they ensure you get what you need and make it work (we do speak Spanish). Ruby though was a stand out and thank you for all you did for us!

It’a quite far from Santa Marta - you can get the bus for £2.00 per person or a taxi is cerca £40 from town.

Las instalaciones son impresionantes, te sientes perdido en medio del paraíso. buena ubicación, la habitación muy acogedora y cómoda. muy bien integrado con el entorno y muy limpio.

La comida y coctelería. Nos hemos ido con una tremenda gastroenteritis debido a la comida de este lugar. grandísimo fallo para un sitio como este, especialmente con los precios del sitio. la cocina es muy precaria, preparación deficiente y poca oferta saludable en el menú. al personal le falta preparación en hostelería, muy deficiente. para ser un sitio tropical falta oferta de más fruta fresca. En cuanto a los cócteles, preparación lamentable. Eché de menos un mini bar y tele y un poco de agua en la habitación o un teléfono para llamar a recepción sin tener que atravesar todo el complejo.

Ubicacion playa, piscina y habitacion. Bebidas del bar buenas

EL restaurante, la comida regular, platos salian frios de la cocina y demorado. Les falta orden ya que las bebidas con licor las tienen que traer desde el bar de la piscina. Meseros atentos a pesar de eso . Estacion de cafe con cafe frio generalmente.

Preis- Leistungsverhältnis nicht gegeben. Frühstücksbuffet war zwar in Ordnung, doch die Bedienung war sehr geizig in Bezug auf Nachschlag. Die Musik am Pool war teils viel zu laut, als ob man am Ballermann gewesen wäre. Abendessen war OK, doch wie gesagt: 460€/3 Tage mit Frühstück zu teuer für die angebotene Qualität und Serviceleistung.

There was a cigarette butt on the porch. The ac barely worked (a fan in the room would solve this problem). There was smell of mildew present in the room (primarily while laying in the bed facing the ocean). The smell of burning plastic kept me from relaxing on the beach.

3 wonderful days between beach & pool

We had a very nice stay in one of the spacious upstairs rooms with nice terrace and stylish bathroom. Location right by the beach is very good if you are looking for a quiet place to stay. The pool is large and very clean. Towels are provided. The next town - Buritaca - can be reached via an interesting 30 min. walk on the beach where lots of birds can be observed. Breakfast is seved buffet style and offers a large choice of sweet and savory items.

We found the taste of food pretty mediocre.

The staff is amazing especially Paola. At 11pm they managed to get a tour for Tayrona park the day after. Furthermore the place is a paradise the beach in front is beautiful, with very few people. Tbh I preferred their beach than the ones in Tayrona.

Breakfast needs a little improvement but on the right track.

Nice but not worth it.

There were a lot of mosquitos and didn’t let us sleep. The staff was not very nice, it seemed they were not trained. The food was so expensive and not very good. I’m disappointed because it is not a cheap hotel and the expectations were very high. The hotel says there is a beach, but they didn’t say you can’t actually get in the sea because it is dangerous and in order to do so, you have to walk like 40 minutes.

Beautiful location but attention to detail was lacking.

The location of the property is picture perfect as you’re surrounded by palm trees and the beach! The rooms were aesthetically pleasing and nicely furnished. We found most of the staff really friendly and welcoming. There are good facilities to keep the children entertained such as table tennis, pool, swimming and volley ball.

Unfortunately the hotel lacked attention to detail - there was coffee machines in the rooms but no coffee was provided even after speaking to the management three times. The soap dispenser did not work properly and we found the beds quite uncomfortable. There was poor communication between reception and the spa as we tried to book a treatment but it clashed with another couple when we arrived. Although the food was nice the menu was quite limited and we found that it never came out all at once so we were not all eating at the same time. On one morning we had to asked for our room to be cleaned and the wifi was pretty poor throughout the hotel. The mosquitoes are terrible so we would have appreciated mosquito nets over each bed.
