We stayed in a private room which was great. Good value for money. Basic but has everything you need.
It’s 20 min drive out of the main part of Santa Marta, but we stayed here for a night to be closer to the airport and we were impressed with the location. Right on the beach, and the restaurant is well priced and good food! Amazing sunset views from restaurant too.

Direct access to the beach and good breakfast.

Hotel is located at Pozos Colorados, very close to the airport, and Rodadero.
Our room was big and very clean.
Staff was kind.
Staff was kind but they needed more people so they could give a better service.
On Sunday, they didn't have two plates from the menu, and breakfast were the same every day.
Another detail, for me, was annoying. It was the fact that the tents and chairs to use on the beach weren't included in the package. We had to pay a daily fee of forty thousand or eight dollars to use. It's not a lot, but adds, plus lunch, drinks, etc lot's of vendors on the beach

it was clean and quiet. the beach was right there on the other side of the breakfast/ food area
it was a bit far for someone like me without a car

I liked the hotel’s beachfront bar and restaurant. i spent many hours moving between the shady bar’s desk with sea view and the beach.
Upon arrival (with a car) the only street leading to the hotel was blocked due to an unforeseen broken pipe - and workers were digging up the road. I walked to the hotel (about 4/min in a mix of pavement soil and mud) to ask for advise. As works were to last until the evening and I had 3 suitcases the receptionist asked hotel staff to help me carry them over, to which they just refused. I carried the 3 suitcases myself.
No hot water: although booking.com mentioned bathroom with shower, one would assume that the bathroom had hot water. But it didn’t. I complained and reception just said they don’t have hot water “in that sector”. But again, no mention of that anywhere.

The beach is very close.
The food is rich and well prepared.
The cleanliness of the room was good. There is air conditioning, it is cool and the view is spectacular.
The room was fine. Although during our visit, the water pump was failing, which is why we sometimes ran out of water in the room.

Quiet beach
nothing much around the pozos colorados area

Pozos Colorados is much better than Santa Marta or Rodadero. The beach is good (but we only went there once or twice) - and the "kioske" nearby. The food was not bad really...
you won´t find anything nearby - if you would like to go and have some food and drinks in the evening better take a taxi. everything closes early.

Great attitude and excellent customer service of agente at the front desk.
Room was plenty of mosquitos … we expend more than 2 hours killing them.
Room did not have control remote for tv.
At Morning hotel got an electricity outage till we did the check out.
Breakfast had a limited menu. And mosquitos were over and around food.
Pool was ridiculously small … it looks more like a jacuzzi. 😕
I got charged for 3 nights but I did expend just one night at the property and refund did not happen. It has been more than 2 weeks and I still waiting for money to be refund. So disappointed.

Well run and highly trained staff
A little far from Santa Marta proper and the center historical

I chose to live here until I get my visa. The staff are like family to me. Very supportive, very professional and VERY FUNNY. They all make efforts to learn English as they help me learn Spanish.
The food is AWESOME! I lost so much healthy weight eating foods I never had before.
The location is unlike any other in the city. THE RESTAURANT is the golden goose. I do not want to leave but eventually I will buy apartment when my visa is finalized.
The heat 😁

It's on the beach and they have a nice deck facing the beach, a great sunset view. Also, it's very close to the airport.
The restaurant does not have any vegetarian options but once they knew we didn't eat meat, one of the staff arranged to make a vegetarian dish for us.
They have turns to use the pool with max capacity of 4people (the pool is tiny), yet they did not enforce their capacity rules and people would not leave the area during our turn. In these covid times, that was uncomfortable.
The hotel is fine but it's an old building and it shows. The windows don't really close all the way, the AC gave us a hard time, and the shower drained slowly.

access to the beach. night reception guy was friendly, virgin pinacolado
the barking dogs especially in the night, generator noise during the day. Some unfriendly staff. Breakfast> No hot water or tea, on 2 days no jam, white toast bread slides but no toaster,
mosquitos in the room and at the reception, 15 min waiting for beach towls = 10 bites
no hot water in the shower.
It is a public beach and the carry hundered of people by buses to it, especially on weekends and holidays
