Our stay at this property was truly amazing—far beyond what we had anticipated. The space was abundant, giving everyone plenty of room to relax and enjoy. The garden was absolutely beautiful, providing a serene and picturesque setting throughout our visit. And of course, the highlight was the jacuzzi, which added that extra touch of luxury to our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be happy to come back in the future!
Thank you so much.

If countryside views are your thing then this is the place for you. Uninterrupted views across the valley showing off the best Wales has to offer.
The accommodation itself is of good standard with a good kitchen and utility, and a spacious conservatory to enjoy the views over breakfast or dinner, (only negatives are; the 2nd shower room is very small, no King beds, bbq is old and small).
The owner Aled is as friendly and helpful as possible without being at all intrusive, a perfect host.
He rebuilt this old cottage himself and much love has gone into it. It’s remote but the local shop with essentials is only a 10 min walk away and Aled is only a phone call away if you have questions.
If quietness and views are what you seek I can highly recommend this place and Aled as a host.

Really lovely, clean, comfortable, well appointed, spacious cottage in a fantastic location. The owners obviously take great care of the property and were very accommodating when we needed to change our dates at short notice. We’ve had a wonderful few days!!

Such a beautiful place to stay with stunning views, surrounded by wildlife. The house is superb and Aled is such a wonderful host, even going to the trouble of swapping his hot tub as ours broke before we arrived!
Plenty of places to visit nearby, Bala is an excellent place to spend some time.
We would definitely book this house again.

Lovely house, only minor issues that can be resolved very easily. basic needs ie toilet roll holders, dressing table with chair and a bin in all bedrooms.

The house was perfect, exactly as shown and the location was beautiful. We have a nervous dog and stayed here with my husbands parents and brother, the house was perfect, a bedroom downstairs and a lovely sitting room where our dog could sit with us without being in the middle of everyone. Had loads of lovely walks n went to a local restaurant which was delicious. Hot tub also a bonus.
Met Al who provided lots of walks for us to try, very friendly.
Would definitely recommend.
Thanks

Myself and 6 friends (& our dog) rented this cottage for a weekend of gaming together. It's in a super quiet location with unbelievable views. The local village down the road is a lovely sunny walk, and you can get a supermarket delivery for your food shopping. The welcome basket was a nice tough, & the hot tub is the icing on the cake! We had a brilliant time and will deffo book again in the future. Thankyou so much for giving us the perfect spot for our mini holiday!

We arrived and the place was not clean. The bedding was stained. The pillows felt like they were 10 years old. The hot tub did not work properly and the children went in only to find glass in there. We didn’t even stay the night went straight home.

Wonderful weekend
We had the best weekend staying in property. The views are simply amazing, the house was very comfortable and clean. The host was so helpful. We all wanted to stay longer and not go back to Essex. The hot tub was just an added bonus. Highly recommend this property.

Tyn y Ffridd Getaway
Tyn y Ffridd was just as described on the website. It provided a comfortable, rural getaway for our group of friends. There were a couple of minor issues, such as a temperamental kettle, slightly uninviting outdoor furniture cushions and a lack of hot water at one point, but overall we had a fantastic stay. The hot tub was great and the large conservatory, with its big dining table and stunning views, gave us a wonderful, communal dining area. I'd definitely recommend it!

Relaxing Holiday Cottage
We had an amazing week stay at the cottage with friends and family. The cottage was lovely and in a quite location surrounded by nothing but hills and wildlife.
Just a point to note for other guests, bring an extra over tray or two and pair of scissors as these are missing from the kitchen. Also bring with you some dishwasher tablets, as although stated as been available there were none available.
If you plan to have a fire, make sure you bring with you some kindle, fire lights and a ligher to start it, as there were also not available on site either.
Other than that, the cottage has everything you need and it was a truly amazing holiday. The HotTub was a great extra to end the day and relax!
Thank you for a great holiday in Wales.

Great location
We have just arrived back from a long weekend stay. We were a party of 8 and two dogs. Everybody had a great time . Cottage is wonderful all you need. Hot tub is great. The owners are really helpful if you need them. The location is beautiful such that if you wish to remain local you can but you are also close enough to major roads to get further afield easily. We all didn't want to leave.

Well maintained property in a great location
This lovely holiday home matched the online listing well and met the needs of our group perfectly. Among our favourite things were the hot tub; the location being quiet but close to the local village for a walk; the ease of everything in the house and good presentation.

Gorgeous spot. Ideal for friends and families
The cottage is an amazing spot. Feels remote but short walk to shop and pub. Easy to get to local attractions and loads of lovely walks all around.
Beautiful scenery and very friendly area
Cottage itself very cosy.
Beds and bedding lovely and comfortable.
Towels could be a little bigger but nice and soft.
Kitchen has most things you need.
Hot tub fits 6 adults with a slight squeeze. Kept very clean and stayed very warm during use. Would like the few steps up to the hot tub to extend a little further so it's a bit easier and safer to get in and out.
We had a lovely stay and
would definitely recommend

Lovely picturesque house
We had such a lovely stay for my dads 70th Birthfday, I wish we had longer than 1 weekend to sit and relax in the hot tub looking across at the wonderful views. Lovely modern home, really comfy beds and sheets, and we enjoyed lighting the fire most days! Would recommend and hopefully one day we can return.

Relaxing 4 nights Away
We really loved staying at Al and Debs cottage.
When we arrived there was a lovely welcome hamper and it was easy check in with the key safe. Al and Deb came and ensured we were in ok and gave us some advice on what to do and places to visit / walk.
The cottage is on top of a single track and the views are amazing. It was very spacious and clean. 2 showers, and a well equipped kitchen. The hot tub was an added bonus which we all enjoyed.
I ordered a Tesco delivery to arrive which kept us going and visited the villages pub the food was absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend its a shame it is a 2 hour drive away otherwise it would quickly become our local for eating.
We had a fabulous relaxing 4 nights away. And hope to be back again one day. Thanks Al and Deb.

Holiday Cottage Peaceful and Quiet
The cottage is located down a single track surrounded by fields overlooking the Corwen valley.
The facilities are very good 2 bathrooms and plenty of space on the ground floor kitchen, lounge with log burner and conservatory, we relaxed in the hot tub after a day of touring the local attractions, we were a group of friends we all enjoyed a very relaxing weekend and would recommend the cottage, the only negative and only a very minor thing was the outdoor furniture cushions were unusable could do with a little TLC but a great long weekend and would visit again.

Tranquil Getaway
This is our second time staying at Deb and Aled's cottage. The cottage is beautiful with everything you could possibly want. The outdoor hot tub is amazing with wondereful views to take in. We took our dogs and they were very happy playing outside in the grounds of the cottage which is secure. The cottage was immaculate and has every facility you could want. Aled comes daily and checks the Hot Tub PH levels and adjusts if need be. They are easily contactable if you have any queries. There was a lovely hamper with cava, bread, tea, welsh cakes etc. Which is a lovely touch. I could stay at this cottage again and again and need a week here at some point. Thanks for a great stay.

The cottage is beautiful and perfectly located for exploring North Wales and has the most amazing views. It's a short walk to the village for local shop/pub, but is secluded and remote enough to feel like we were the only people there. We ordered a supermarket delivery for the day we arrived and had a lovely hamper from the owners awaiting us which was a lovely surprise! We could enjoy a glass of bubbles whilst waiting for our food shop delivery :-)The hot tub was a must at the end of each day with the best views you could ask for - the tub is perfectly placed to enjoy the sunset each evening. The cottage had everything you need for a fantastic break - TVs with Netflix in every bedroom, great power showers and beautiful bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and the fast broadband was a huge added bonus when travelling with a teenager to keep those 'I'm bored' moments at bay :-)Cannot fault the cottage and the whole booking/arrival process - owners super receptive and accessible but also happy to leave you to it if that's the way you want your holidays to go.Thank you Al & Deb for a fantastic stay! We shall return!

A wonderful cosy weekend in a beautiful cottage.
The cottage was exactly what we expected and wanted. The views are simply stunning with great walks from the doorstep. Once inside there is everything you could want and more and the views carry on in the dining room and from the hot tub. The lounge was cosy and we lit the fire every afternoon and settled down. Well equipped kitchen and large utility room. Comfortable beds, lovely bedding, nothing not to love.
