Spacious rooms.
Check-in was 4 pm, and the room wasn't ready til 5. We had to keep asking. Breakfast was not included and pricey. Stuff rudely told us we had to pay for breakfast when it was sitting out on the bar counter unattended like a buffet.
5.0
Location and size of bed. Very comfortable.View of the river was great too.
Was suppose to get park view, but they didn't have it available.

Location is very lovely.
There's no room service or maid service to speak of. There's a cafe that can be cajoled into bringing you your food but they repeatedly ask you to come down and get it from them. I accidentally spilt a coffee and there was no cleaning staff or cleaning people on hand at the time so they just gave me a brand-new towel and told me to clean it myself.

Excellent location and room size, the bed was comfortable and the view on the park was appreciated.
The room was spacious but the smell inside was not so nice. Was missing some furniture compared to other Renaissance that I already joined in my previous trips.
I called the reception to get a simple bath mat because it also was missing and I wanted to take a shower. They said to wait in the room for the item delivery but nobody came so I got to use the small facial towels which was pretty embarrassing. Additionally the hairdryer was broken.

Great location! I am so thankful the staff handed us snacks and water upon check-in. The room was big, clean and comfy. Shower was amazing!

Excellent location, great decor and plenty of parks nearby to walk my service dog. So many attractions were working distance and the staff were great! They helped us find a nearby parking spot for our truck
5.0
the location, the staff and the overall hospitality
I requested a bottle of water but was expected to go downstairs and get it myself. usually in hotels as a courtesy they bring it up to you! other than that all good!

We stayed here a few years ago and loved the location. The bartender James was amazing, and the woman who worked the front desk was nice and tried to assist us.
Our room was so hot it was uncomfortable to sleep so no one really got any sleep the 2nd night (cold and windy the first night, so it wasn't as bad); we called the front desk the next morning and they sent someone up to work on it, but they could only get it down from 76 degrees to 74. Then the morning we were leaving we didn't have hot water so I had to take a tepid shower in the morning. They offered us a free continental breakfast on our last morning as compensation; at least they tried. However, my daughter asked the bartender (Alecia)for ketchup in the morning and she was extremely rude to her. Note: the bar is connected to dining room and there weren't any wait staff around. We didn't make a scene when we checked out, but we quietly told them to get the issues resolved before they put someone else back in the room. We will not be returning to that hotel ever again. I don't mind paying more for nice accommodations but I hate paying over $800 for 2 nights and it's a miserable experience.

Bar was friendly......Food was good
Never cleaned room, ran out of toilet paper, soap and shampoo. 4 nights never took dirty towels or made bed...I had to call down for soap, shampoo and toilet paper

It's in a great location, and the room size was large. It also has a great view.
Our heat didn't work at all for the first night and throughout much of the next day, as it was out in the entire building and needed to be repaired. We had to use a space heater directly in front of the bed, which is obviously less than ideal and didn't work well. An employee said we should be compensated for the first night, but all they gave us were some worthless Marriot points.

perfect location across from all the historic attractions we came to see.
interior decoration was a mix of gaudy and hipster.

Everything was lovely, the food and drinks at the restaurant, the room service for a delicious breakfast in the morning and the view of the lovely green space from the window. The pool in the basement was a nice treat- the fitness room is open 24 he's but I didn't realize that it was in the basement as well so I did not see it. There was some construction across the street but nothing louder than traditional city noise.

Great location. Nice room. Friendly staff.

The staff were very friendly & available for needs which were very few! Close to pretty much everything in Philly! I was pleased with the location! The rooms are big!

Perfect location. ALL staff were super friendly ( to Braves fans) during playoffs! Restaurant wait staff top drawer; cooks too. This place places a premium on customer service. Great stay!!

The doorman Nick was extraordinarily helpful. He told me about a parking garage only two blocks away that would accommodate my overly tall vehicle, for a 1/4 of the price of the open lot we had been referred to by a neighboring hotel. He escorted my husband upstairs while I went to park and unpacked our things and set up the dog's crate. The dinner and breakfast we ordered were better than expected, with the exception of a very boring Caesar salad that came up without dressing.
The room was, well, roomy- and open. The layout was appealing and the view decent. Location was great for us, as we have family living in south Philly and it was a quiet, restful night.
I actually had to think for a moment to come up with something I didn't like-the only thing that came to mind was that poor salad!

it was a great central location and clean.
there was a strong smell of marajuana on our floor in the hallway for the first day and a half.
