Comfy mattress, friendly staff, close proximity to the historical sites, room decor
Bad water pressure, musty smelling room, thin-crepe-paper-consistency to the toilet paper, broken hair dryer, no light in the closet
4.2
The bath tub
Elevator, restroom in the basement!!!, staff asleep when we checked out! Had to wake one up to check us out!

Awesome hotel. Great location!
4.2
The location of the hotel to everything
That there was no laundry facilities and no pool
4.2
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby was nice, and the location was excellent. Most things were in walking distance. The restaurant next door is nice too.
The rooms are basic. Shower, sink, bed, and a wardrobe. No bath, no kettle. Every room is a box room. Based on the outside, I expected more for the rooms. The bar next door won't serve you drinks unless you buy food, which I thought was a bit odd. I just thought for the price, it was very basic. However, the location was excellent, and it seems like this is why it's expensive. The staff were excellent, I give them 5 stars.
4.2
Atmosphere and friendliness of staff.
Unfortunately, we had a room facing into the inner side with no view at all and no option to open a window. Somehow sad - all other things great!

Room
Breakfast starts at 7:30??? Way too late for people on business travel. Unacceptable.

The location was perfect and the staff very helpful and professional. The cleaning personnel especially Fatima were superb!! She went above and beyond!!
We would have liked a coffee machine in our room!
4.2
Location was ideal hence it was blocked for the wedding we attended.
Our room was dirty. There were crumbs on the desk you noticed as soon as we walked in our room.
The shower was not closed in and I am particularly not a fan of this. I like my steam and hot water in my shower preferably.
The dining option attached to the hotel was a joke. The hostess was clearly non binary and it made it a challenge to address with no name tag. They all wore street clothes that were frumpy. They need a uniform with a name tag. The service was awful from start to finish. The food was horrible. I sat with three men and they all said the food was meh/blah. My food came out over cooked and had to be sent back. The attention of the waiter was deplorable and we had to ask for more drinks several times. I wouldn’t go back after this was my second stay and it was worse this time around.

The hotel itself has such a cool vibe. Service was excellent and all of the staff was so friendly.
We loved everything!

Location
Looked a little worn in spots.

The location was perfect and the room was great. The optional plant for our room was a great addition.
The partial shower door, lots of water got out.

Free breakfast vouchers during my stay; easy walking distance from the National Constitution Center, Independence National Historical Park, the Museum Of American Revolution, Faith And Liberty Discovery Center, and more; Historical facts from the hotel manager
The wifi could've been a lot more faster

The room was very spacious. It allowed us to spread out. Had a great view of the park as well. The overall hotel had a lot of charm. It was in an excellent location too.
The furniture was very worn and ready to be updated. There were chips on the vanity, the couch was very worn, etc. They couldn't find our reservation when we arrived, but had only received a confirmation call 45 mins earlier. That was a tad stressful in the moment, but was resolved.

The room was excellent and the handicapped bathroom was top notch. The beds were very comfy. The view out the large windows was wonderful. And of course the access to historical sites could not have been better.
I can't believe your refrigerator did not have a freezer. We had to carry insulin with us on a long trip. I counted on being able to refreeze the ice packs at night and your refrigerator was poor. For me, this colored the whole stay. Also, given the price we were paying I don't see why you couldn't provide two bath towels per person. The luggage drop off and pick up situation was very annoying. I needed access to my car overnight, so valet parking was not a reasonable option for me. The valet crowded out people arriving and leaving and wasmes0cially difficult for our handicapped party member. I appreciated having the extra room in the handicapped bathroom. Many places are too small and you can't even enter the bathroom with a wheelchair. I do wish that the handicapped room was closer to the elevator. but that is often a problem on a redesign and our room was so beautiful it was worth the trek. I am sorry Chestnut street has garbage on it now like Market Street and the greenery was not as lovely as I remember it.

I have a million photos, so I'll share on Google, this app below will not let me show them, for some reason!

The building & rooms were charming & beautifully decorated.
The amenities were almost non-existent. Their website was not accurate (e.g., it says 24-hour room service, but room service was only available for a few hours per day and delivered as a to-go order with astronomical in-room dining fees), no minibar in rooms, not enough staff, could not reach front desk or bell from room phone, etc.). Valet was the only parking option & $70/night.

beautiful decor

The room was pretty and I wanted to spend my birthday alone so this room was perfect for my expectations! It was lively & I felt safe!
4.2
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooftop lounge was very nice.
We were not impressed with our meals at the restaurant. I had the pasta dish and was disappointed it was just a bowl of pasta. No bread, no side salad, and expensive. My husband got a chicken dinner that was a simple meal and ok in flavor but expensive for what he got.
4.2
very close to everything. great room size for families.
the pillows in the room.

clean , peaceful, beautiful, staff were amazing and so accommodating and most of all I loved there uniforms
nothing!
