Would highly recommend your hotel. It checked all the boxes for my wife and I. Thanks Hilton!

Room was spacious and clean . The bed was very comfortable. The area was quiet and allowed us to relax and get a great nights sleep.The staff was courteous and kind and made us feel they really wanted us their.

Nothing major to complain about. Grateful for the beautiful room and the relaxing time.

The room was clean but looked like it had seen better days. Staff were helpful and cordial.

The color scheme walking down the hall gave me the impression that it was dark and dingy.

It was a pleasant stay for my son’s graduation on the expensive side of cost per night. The staff was friendly, helpful

It was clean, bright, newly renovated, indoor pool that overlooked pool which was enclosed in a large spacious room.

There was no microwave in the room.

Great place to stay in Harrisonburg if you are visiting JMU!

We have stayed at the Double Tree before in Harrisonburg for various JMU events and it is always a great place to stay. Great location, close to school and other amenities. I have honestly never tried the breakfast but it is clean, the staff is great, rooms are big and the cookies are awesome!

Convenient and comfy overnight stop.

Location is great, and I was surprised that it was so quiet even though it is adjacent to the interstate. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful.

Our Booking.com reservation got messed up somehow (even though I had a confirmation for 2 rooms there was only one room reserved at Doubletree). The desk staff made it right but I think I may have paid more than my original guaranteed price.

Not the Hilton experience I remember from years ago.

our room connected to the pool which was loud due to a party that ended at 10pm but continued in the halls. No military discounts for breakfast, not 1 dollar off. I would think a business that makes billions could give some discount to military members.

Loud well into the evening and no discount for our nations military.

Good stay just make it clear breakfast not included.but available for additional charge.

Decent breakfast

Thought the breakfast was included but after getting the food we were handed a ticket and then informed the sign was posted somewhere but who’s looking for a sign? I think it would be wise to mention that during check in or make it very clear it’s not included in the price. Instead another $30 dollars was added. That’s a few dollars shy of $200.

traveled from rochester New York to Atlanta for the holiday. this was our stop over

friendly people. restaurant and bar open til 10. pool. extensive breakfast. cookies and water. the bed and linens were cush. shower was large and clean

Nice staff, great location, but a little pricey.

• I liked the size of the bathroom. • The bed was comfortable. • The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. • The hotel is in a really good location.

• There was stuff under the bed, as if under the bed wasn't cleaned before we got there. • The lighting in the bathroom is too dim. • I didn't like that there was no microwave in the room. • I just felt like for the price of the room, it could have been a little bit nicer.

Unexpected Hidden Fees check before you book

The atmosphere was relaxing

Not knowing their were hidden hotel charges that overshot my budget for the booked reservation. I had to reduce my stay to one day instead of the two day booked through Booking.com and I ended up paying the hotel rate for that day which was way more than the third-party Booking.com rate.

Breakfast on Sunday was good

The entire experience other than breakfast was horrible. The hotel may have been hosting guest with lots of children. Which is not a issue but they were not properly managed. I wasn't able to get in the pool at all because was full. They ran up and down halls until after 10pm. I spoke with the front desk and they indicated other guest complained as well but they spoke with the parents and nothing was done. I came to that establishment to get a little rest and all I did was have my blood pressure raised.

This was the worst experience. Despite 3 confirmation emails, there was no reservation for us after driving 5 hrs. It was 11:30pm and there were not any rooms. The front desk employees were very rude. They claimed “this is why I would never book through a third party.”
