Det var et hyggeligt sted og område.
Der var en summen/brummen ved naboværelset.

The staff was mostly attentive. Location was great!
Had trouble with the rooms we were supposed to get. Then there was an A/C issue. We were there in May and it was very warm.

Just the location, nothing else.
From the outset, our stay at the hotel was fraught with issues; the only silver lining being an initial upgrade to a suite due to our booked room's unavailability. However, this small gesture was quickly overshadowed by administrative mishaps, as our reservation was split, leading to us being charged double security deposits. Moreover, an attempt was made to charge us for an additional night, inclusive of a third security deposit, an oversight only rectified after direct confirmation of the charges with our bank allowed us to revert to the original booking terms.
The resolution to this situation was far from satisfactory, culminating in our relocation to one of the hotel's most remote rooms - room 2311. The conditions of the room were abysmal: torn curtains, low hot water pressure that was sporadic at best, a clogged bathtub, an absence of conditioner upon arrival, and an air conditioning unit locked at an unbearable 80°F, rendering the room a veritable sauna throughout our stay. The quality of the room starkly contrasted with the rates charged, and while the breakfast was modest, it did little to ameliorate our overall dismal experience.
Despite the commendable kindness and service provided by the hotel staff and housekeeping team, their efforts could not compensate for the room's poor condition or the aggravation caused by the billing complications. Initially intended as a gesture of goodwill, the hotel's attempt at courtesy only served to exacerbate our discontent.
As a Bonvoy member with previous stays at neighboring hotels such as Aloft, I am disheartened to say that this experience at the Sheraton has decisively deterred any future consideration of lodging here again. It was, in every aspect, a disappointing encounter.

Great hotel in central location. Walking distance to DUMBO, Brooklyn Bridge, Barclays Centre, Court Street shops. Always felt safe. Great customer service and housekeeping. Also close to Jay St Subway for easy access to other parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan. Highly recommended.
Hotel is a tiny bit dated but extremely spacious and comfortable.

Chambre très bien située et équipée. Personnel très souriant. Excellent rapport qualité prix par rapport à d'autres établissements du secteur.
Peut-être un petit déjeune qui gagnerait à s'étoffer en terme de choix.

Großartige Lage, sehr bequeme Betten, tolles Gym.
Leider war der Pool (und offenbar schon länger) nicht benutzbar.

The room smelled Smokey and housekeeping never filled the shampoo, etc

The staff made us feel very welcome, especially Julie at breakfast. The room was very clean and a good size. The bathroom was very pleasant. The lobby staff went out of their way to make our family feel as comfortable as possible in the accommodation. Many thanks to all!
It's a bit of a shame that there's a swimming pool in the building that is not accessible to guests. On the other hand, there is a well-equipped fitness room which is easily accessible.

Location near food shopping easy to walk or Uber
Cost versus amenities very close to other rooms and no perks

Everybody at the front desk was super-friendly and helpful. They called an airport taxi for us in the very early hours and we really appreciated that. I have no complaints about any of the staff we met, it's not their fault that their greedy bosses are charging regular hotel rates for truly unacceptable rooms
Our room was incredibly depressing, very run-down. The walls/carpet/headboard were beige, the curtains were brown, all very dated. The window view was of some metal ducting, which I realise has got to be somebody's view, but that was actually better than the view in the room with our curtains closed - there was not one piece of art on the walls, the skirting boards had tape holding them together. At some point there had been a large frame with some art hanging on the wall, but it was missing, with the corner screws and torn wallpaper still there, the only evidence there had once been decoration in the room. The picture frame in the bathroom was cracked and missing big parts of the lamination. In the main room there was one small metal lamp on the desk under the TV and one single dim side lamp on a table in the middle of two double beds - that was the only light for the main room, so it was impossible to read in bed because it was so dark (no overhead lights), nearly impossible to see to pack after dark. I chose this hotel for our final two nights based on the name, I thought out of all the hotels in NYC to choose from, Sheraton/Marriott would be a reliable choice based on brand reputation but NEVER AGAIN. For over £200 each night, Marriott could certainly afford to provide modern lighting and stick a print on the wall! It was incredibly hot during our stay but the air conditioning vent roared so loudly that we couldn't keep the AC on while sleeping. This was a travesty of a hotel room, proof that this company doesn't care about its customers and it really put a damper on the end of a rare overseas trip for our family that was meant to be a special treat for my kid's 18th. There seemed no point in asking for another room as any company that would give a key to that crappy room has zero regard for their customers, it was fair to assume the other rooms were no better.

Love the room always nice and spacious and clean. The bathroom is amazing.
The best was working in my room it was very cold. The front desk was wonderful and switched me to a another room on the same floor, but the heat wasn't working in that room as well. It was very uncomfortable to sleep cause the vent was blowing cold air directly on the bed. I had to cover my head to stop feeling the cold air. Even the bathroom was cold, making it hard to shower. I like the Sheraton Hotel on Duffield. But that night made me a little hesitant booking again.
