Quiet. Ponds were nice. Dinner poolside was excellent.
Pillows were uncomfortable. Vanity in bath a little worn out.

Not much did not match what Booking.com offered
I asked for a quiet room paid top dollar for a luxury room got that over the gym and by the pool and near the kitchen the room stank and was my worst experience ever, I asked for the quiet room they said I had to pay a lot more and also told breakfast was not included dreadful deal by Booking.com

I liked the online representation of the property. The pictures were inviting and swayed me to book at Dinah’s and not my normal chain.
I really disliked the pool area - the one thing I booked the hotel for. The restaurant was on top of the pool. It felt like it was set up as dinner and the pool being the show. Truly, awful layout. The restaurant tables were so close to the pool that the kids playing in the pool got the guests wet. Terrible misrepresentation of a relaxing pool area.

Close enough drive to Stanford Children's Hospital. We were there for my child's appointments. Extremely clean and well maintained. 2 ladies at desk were very kind and helpful. We got a wristband so my child could swim and they helped answer our questions.
Beautiful grounds with koi ponds, fountains and gardens. Comfy beds. Quiet rooms.
Room service menu would be awesome if more variety that's lighter fare . Also need to update flyers handed out by front desk upon check in as they state incorrect room service times.

We have stayed at Dinah's many times over the years. It's a wonderful refuge in the middle of the Bay Area. Beautiful gardens, lovely rooms, friendly staff, and a poolside restaurant.

Elevator to the second floor was needed & appreciated, but the interior light went out several times
making a very small space completely dark.

Beautiful! comfortable, serene hotel. filled with lush ponds and gardens, nice restaurant on site. Friendly staff at hotel and the restaurant. Close to Stanford and grocery stores. (Safeway and CVS) have stayed here several times and will be here every month now to be close to Stanford for treatment. I feel at home here so it makes the stay very nice.
Rooms are large and clean.
Not enough Splenda or equal packets in the room.

very nicely decorated, very clean. Although breakfast is not included, the restaurant is really good, and serves dinner as well
When I checked in and got my room, it was cold outside but the AC was only cooling. I called the reception and it took them 40 minutes to come and check, while I needed to wait in the freezing room

Our room was nice, quiet and clean. The grounds were nice. The value was great for the area! The staff and waitress at the Poolside Restaurant were amazing!!
I paid for a room with a view of the grounds, but we got a view of the apartments instead so that was disappointing. The Poolside restaurant was ok, our waitress and the staff were amazing, the appetizer was awesome, my clam chowder was good, however the ice cubes in our drinks tasted like chlorine and my husband's risotto was terrible.

The room itself was a total surprise to me I'd never stayed at DINAH'S before so I didn't know what to think I saw photos online and the hotel looks exactly like that, the room is super spacious and I love that, given the holiday the restaurant was closed but we were near food restaurants so no big deal. We mentioned among ourselves that the room gave an "out of town' feel it did not feel like we were in the Bay Area at all! Very good stay, we really enjoyed the quietness and serenity of this hotel, cleanliness was up to par as well. Our room had a steam room in it which was a plus for us! Its sooo good, and it was great that we didn't have to go outside our room to get a good steam, it was very relaxing. I plan on booking again just to have a get away.
There was nothing I experienced that was negative. This hotel is great
