The location was incredible. I was within walking distance of everything I needed. The rooms were kept up with housecleaning and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! Will absolutely stay there again if I'm ever in Salt Lake City. Your waitstaff at the restaurant and bartenders at the bar were above incredible.
The housekeeping was definitely understaffed and somethings I had to do myself as far as cleaning which was a little unexpected, but I believe the housekeeper was doing her absolute best so it was no fault of hers. Also, being able to have room service there from the restaurants would have been wonderful.

The hotel is a Marriott and part of the more high-end hotel chains. It is located next to a large shopping centre and as we had some time to kill, it was nice after a long drive.
There are two things which we didn't like. To access Wi-Fi, you either have to pay or register as a frequent Marriott customer. We opted for the last solution, but could not log in, so it didn't work at all. It is disappointing that a hotel chain like Marriott uses this way of working. In today's world, Wi-Fi should be available as a standard without any humbugs or tricks. We also had to pay for parking. The chances that your hotel guest will arrive with a car is about 90% or more, so this should also be offered as a standard.

Rooms were very clean. Housekeeping staff were amazing.
Was promised to be refunded for the $75 that I was charged for Wi-Fi and it never happened. No one ever followed up either. The electrical breaker kept tripping so we would never have power. We had to keep calling to have it reset.

Breakfast excellent. Loved the crispy hashbrowns
Wifi was confusing as I was not sure if I was being charged for it or not. I would like simple directions on how to log in with password in the room on arrival.

This hotel is very clean, close to everything in downtown Salt Lake, parking on site along with a shopping mall, staff is friendly. Great views from a clean modern room.
The shower does not have a curtain or any sort of glass blocking the water, so it makes a mess. The water pressure was terrible, and had to flush the toilet multiple times.

close proximity to all services and entertainment
the ONLY problem was the Pride celebration that was being held in the city and totally surrounding the building. the night time entertainment on the street 16 floors below, ruined our evening. even the closed windows couldn’t begin to soften the loudness

Breakfast was fine!
The plumbing fixtures in my room were a little "tired". Faucets were loose with scale built up on the counter near the base.

Fruit/spa water, coffee, and cider available in lobby. Starbucks was open early for our departure w great customer service.
Bag management/bell hop services were limited. If you pay for valet you should get assistance to your room. Staff could not find reservation initially. Donuts displayed in open air on a wall for guests-kind of gross w public health risk! Restaurant and bar need an update.

Older property. A bit expensive for what you get. Location was good.

Great location
Our room was just mediocre for the price. The bathroom needed redone, the shower was the only good thing in there. Definitely needed redone, very small. Door wouldn’t close all the way and the fan didn’t work.

Great central location, friendly staff and clean room.

The location
I was disappointed with the hotel! I’m an admirer of the Marriott chain, but this hotel disappointed me, we opted for the hotel because it was close to the event we were going to attend but we didn’t feel very comfortable with the accommodations. First they put us in a room with a very old accommodation. After talking to the front desk staff they changed our room. In the room that accommodated us there was
