The place was clean. The breakfast was not fancy but was acceptable.
The guest beside our room was talking loudly the whole night. His voice was too loud and surprisingly talking nonstop. There was no phone in the room to call the staff about it.

Staff was friendly, coffee in the morning was ready, bed was comfortable.
Run down appearance of the place, no ice, fan in bathroom clanged, tub looked dirty but just was peeling porcelain, pool was freezing

Not a very good breakfast selection. Pool was cold and dirty.

I got charged $150 on the 12th, which was the deposit.

This property is in a good location. Beds are decent.
The room was a little outdated as well as the bathroom (missing tiles & worn out shower). Could use some updating. Also the elevator was out of service and had to carry our luggage all the way to the 3rd floor :/

The location was good
The staff was unfriendly, there was an actual meth pipe left in our hotel room. The floors had not been cleaned, the beds were very uncomfortable and to get to our room we had to walk thru a group of people sitting in the lobby with cases of beer drinking.

Had a family emergency and wanted to not cancel res but move it back a day and they refused

towels were surprisingly nice for a budget hotel
1. I asked if I could check in 30 minutes early, and was told that I would have to pay a "fine"--a word normally used to refer to breaking a law or regulation. Most places allow some flexibility on check-in; some politely say that they do not allow early check-ins. But a fine??!!!
2. Room was not available until 30 minutes after official check-in time. Understandable with current staffing shortages. However, if charging a "fine" to check in early, then should justly offer deduction in rate if the room is not ready on time.
3. There was obvious dirt on surfaces in room.
4. This is the only Days Inn I've ever stayed at that did not have an in-room coffee pot.

Location to WWU to move my son in on the weekend.
The building is very old, and needs to be updated. The AC wasn't working, breakfast was lacking, there was no ice container in our room, the vending machine was all sold out so I couldn't get water. The water in the bathroom sink ran warm or hot, therefore I couldn't get cold water. The front desk staff were not friendly at all. I will not be back.
6.0 / 10.0
The location is close to WWU and the freehway as well as within walking distances to many fast food places.
I wish they would have comforters on the bed. They just have sheets and a thin blanket.

We liked the staff, the two desk staff were fantastic. There were so many issues but they did everything they could to help with each problem, and they resolved most everything. If it were for the kind helpful staff this place doesn't stand a chance of staying in business.
Facility is run down and shabby and didn't look like it did in the photos, looks much older in real life. When you reprogram a room card, all need to be updated. Would be helpful to know this. There weren't enough towels for 3 in our room. Sink was rusted and bathtub was repainted in areas? Washing machine didn't work, nice staff helped fix it. AC didn't work, grumpy rushed mechanic fixed it. Bill surprised me with a $150 additional hold fee that I wasn't aware of, nice staff explained it and offered to help with it. Pool was locked and keys didn't work, rushed mechanic let us in. No non-dairy options for breakfast except fruit and a hard boiled egg. Booked an "executive" room but it wasn't executive level. Carpet seemed unclean.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The location is unsafe, it is completely not as advertised, and the rooms are disgusting, smell like smoke, and dirty. Avoid at all costs

Coffee and breakfast was very nice. Room was spacious. TV had many channels
As an architect., the corridors are very wide and could have some art, planter pots, or other things of interest

The room was nicer than I thought it would be. Lots of parking.Thai food next door was really good.
Breakfast. Breakfast was horrible. Not many options- even just cereal, oatmeal, or granola would have been great.
