The staff was nice.
We paid for a non-smoking room and it had clearly been smoked in.

Very nice staff. Location is perfect for activities at WWU. The rooms are basic and dated but clean.
It is a budget hotel as the rooms are basic and dated, but as I said they are clean which is all I really care about.

Easy to find. Was clean inside lobby, hallways and room. They accepted pets and I didn’t smell any if they had been in the room previously so that was a major plus!!
Right on the freeway.

Very good value. Staff are always friendly, the place is always spotless, and it's walkable to downtown Bellingham.
Nothing.

The room was EXTREMELY dirty and I did not feel safe or secure there.

I was impressed by the cleanliness of the lobby and my room. Bed was comfortable, room was spotless. No smells. Breakfast had everything I expected from a motel. Will definitely return on future trips.
A microwave in the room would have been a nice surprise, but I ended up using the one in the breakfast area

No closet or place to hang up clothes. Had to borrow iron from front desk. Room air conditioner was very noisy. Freeway noise loud. Staff was nice.

This is my go to location when passing through bham. Very friendly staff, comfortable beds, and convenient location.
They no longer have coffee in the rooms and their breakfast has no protein options.

The room was ok, but there were no facilities for making coffee or tea.
Very noisy as it is very near the freeway.

Our room was not cleaned the 2nd day. Not even clean towels. The desk person at check in wasn’t that great. The checkout person the next morning was very friendly. Wasn’t even aware that there were other services available. Appreciated the vending machine for sure.

My stay was on 10/29/22 and there was a huge party across the hall from my room which was 228. The staff wouldn’t do anything about it. I asked to switch rooms at 3am and they wouldn’t switch my room. The woman working the front desk also declined to provide me with a refund. So I left and drove back to Seattle at 3am on one of the most dangerous nights of the year to be driving that late at night.

Staff was nice
The entire hotel was a construction zone with uninstalled furniture leaning on the walls and in the reception area. Overly scented cleaning agents gave me a headache and the hotel was not very clean for the amount of fragrance embedded in everything. Quality of sheets, pillows and towels were very poor, thin and worn out. The blower on the heater/ac didn't work well, slept with the window open to air out the smell of my room but it's a really busy location. I can understand making upgrades to the hotel but it was very off-putting.

The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Steven was especially good.
The room was quiet and clean, bed and pillows comfy, linens very nice.
The hotel badly needs an upgrade, which was obviously taking place.
There was unassembled furniture stacked in the lobby and halls. That's very unappealing.
The breakfast was only breads/waffles/sweet rolls and cereal.
I think the price was way too high considering remodeling was taking place and the breakfast was continental.

The breakfast was not the best, there also were no trays in the breakfast area or in the room. All the muffins and donuts were cut in half or 1/4 and kind of dry I'm assuming because they weren't left whole.
I took a number of pictures. When we turned on the fan in the room so much dust came out from the vent that my daughter puked. The fridge wasn't wiped down. Nothing was really dusted. After the 1st night I asked the cleaning staff if we could just get our room vacuumed and being a mom I also offered to do it myself because the response look I was given when I asked was the same look my teenage daughter gives me when asked to do a chore. I was surprised when she said yeah I could vacuum it myself and moved the vacuum towards me. For the price I paid for 2 nights I REALLY expected better quality and friendly faces expectually at check in. The room telephone was also so distorted with many of the buttons removed and blinked orange indicating there were messages to be checked from prior guests. When we got off the elevator it was poorly lite and felt creepy. It's clear there needs to be many updates. The bathroom was super small and could use a deep clean. Besides not having a coffee station. The not having a closet to hang anything up probably bothered me the most.
