Quirky decor, pleasant staff
The room was way too cold for me, but the air-conditioning was centralised and linked to other rooms, so I couldn’t control the temperature in my personal space. It was really uncomfortable to be freezing most of the time.
I also think you should offer an ironing service for folks like me who can’t iron!

The staff was awesome. The bed was super super comfortable and the room was cozy and super well decorated.
We appreciate all the staff's help even though we arrived late at night.
I love Pali Society, we count on it for many of our trips.
As constructive feedback I would say the sink made the water spalsh everywhere and the bath tub a little bit the same. But other wise was super good.

Clean & gorgeous
I didn’t realize it was central air

I love the vibe, decor and location. very cute in the lobby and the staff both at the front desk and the cleaning crew were wonderful.
while the room looked nice from a glance and was generally clean all around, there were rancid stains (of a personal nature) all over the couch. I put a towel over it immediately and refused to sit on it my entire stay. I know this is a "no frills" hotel, but there was no safe for me to store valuables, so I carried them with me the entire trip. also, I didnt realize how much i enjoy a coffee while getting ready in the morning and with no machine in the room, i was quite cranky until I left the room for the day.

Bed was comfortable
Good location
Friendly staff
Carpark available although entrance was quite narrow
The room was so cold and there was no thermostat to adjust the temperature (we were told it is central and nothing could be done).
The body wash ran out and was not replaced.
There was no coffee or tea in the room. Free coffee available from lobby from 6-8am but it would be helpful to have this extended later as people will be waking up later when they are on holiday...

Cozy hotel that is well located with affordable parking underneath building. Great restaurant Blue Daisy integrated into hotel. Super friendly staff!
Nothing. It would have been nice to have a pool but this was known to us ahead of our arrival

Rooms are dark, there aren’t enough light

I absolutely loved the location - within a stone's throw away from the bustling nightlife in West Hollywood, The Grove, and other must-see sights.
The room was quite comfortable, albeit a bit dark.
The staff were very nice and friendly.
The centralised air conditioning was a bit of a bummer. Also as this is along Melrose Ave, and faces the street, expect some noise.
Although there is nothing that can be done, the parking clearance was much lower than usual.
Lastly, I got charged for the mini bar item, which I didn't consume. Please note that this was eventually reversed, but it was weird that that happened.

The location is great and we could check in late in the evening.
The room was either too warm or FREEZING and when I say freezing I mean it. We had to ask every night for them to turk off the ac again since everytime we got up to the room after we had been out it was on again. We also had no shampoo och shower gel and had to ask 2 times and then they only refilled the shampoo and not the other ones that were empty.

We only stayed here because friends traveling with a dog chose it. The property was new m, clean, and felt boutique-like but there were many drawbacks.
Location: not near anything. Temperature controls: no way to control temperature or open-close vents. We on the first floor froze because the A/C was too cold while friends on the second floor has to open the windows because of the heater blasting. Staff-amenities: Staff was polite but aloof. Coffee was “offered” every day at 6 am but was never ready until well after 7 am. Overall, nothing to really recommend this place.

Location is really good. The staff from the restaurant are super nice.
The hotel smells really bad. The receptionists were not nice. The garage is not connected to the main building what’s makes really hard carry your suitcases.

very cool: great decor, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff.
it’s in an older building with an old AC system: we would complain it was too cold in our room, at the same time people complained it was too hot in theirs. they were very obliging turning it off and on, but then you’d either roast or freeze. I’d stay there again but they need to upgrade the air con.

nice hotel with spacious room
air conditioning is not self adjustable. for every adjustment you need too send a request to the front desk. super annoying!

the price was reasonable for Los Angeles but you do get what you pay for.
the hotel is situated on a busy and noisy street. the room was very dim and the wifi was slow. the lack of customer service was also very disappointing.

The walls are paper thin and I could hear everything from the other rooms. Conversations, TV, caught and even farts
Poor Lighting in bathroom for make up
Not enough shelf space for toiletries

Love the room setup and the vibe of the room, the location was great, too
Did not like the parking situation. You had to call in to the front desk to be let in and twice no one answered after multiple calls to get in. We had to go inside and get someone to let us in.

This is a very cute hotel. It has an older vibe, but it was still charming. The bed and pillows were VERY comfortable, which is the most important part.
The room was very clean and the hotel staff was so nice. There is a fully stocked mini bar with snacks in the room as well. It’s very over priced, but if you’re in a pinch and want a snack, it’s nice to have. They had a restaurant and bar in the lobby that we didn’t get to order at but would try out next time. We would definitely come back here again.
The only 3 things I wasn’t crazy about, but aren’t dealbreakers:
1. The private parking was expensive, $25 per night plus $5 parking tax. But I think there is permit parking in the neighborhood so it’s likely the only option.
2. The room faced the street, which was fine, but the windows were all blurred out, probably for privacy, so you couldn’t really look out the windows. Felt more like the windows you might have in a bathroom at the top of the wall.
3. Didn’t care for the carpet, it felt a little old and I always wonder how clean carpet is. Would prefer a hotel room with no carpet, feels cleaner to me.

We loved the atmosphere of the hotel, the design inside the room with balcony and the cool guests around. The breakfast at the cafe inside the hotel was fantastic.
The matress was too soft.

great rooms, comfy beds and all the staff were super friendly
the parking garage could of had a PIN code to enter instead of calling the front desk every time
