Emplacement central et décoration originale

Lit très confortable (trop mou selon mon conjoint), possibilité de chambre qui ne donne pas sur la rue (plus calme car il y a beaucoup de circulation dans la ville), décoration moderne et originale, excellente situation géographique (nous avons tout fait à pied), restaurants et 2 épiceries à proximité donc très pratique, petit frigo dans la chambre, super douche avec un bon débit d'eau.

Chambre sombre (donnait sur un mur - mais en contrepartie nous n'avions pas le bruit de la rue et nous le savions avant de réserver), descriptif ne correspondant pas exactement à la chambre (faisait moins de 37m2, pas de micro-ondes). Chambre mal isolée du couloir donc on entend les autres voyageurs qui rentrent le soir ou la nuit malgré la politique de tranquillité de l'hôtel - heureusement nos voisins étaient plutôt calmes. Le ménage est fait seulement sur demande ; cela ne nous a pas dérangés mais c'est bon à savoir. Peu d'espace de rangement mais c'était suffisant pour nous (court séjour).

Fun themed hotel with nice, clean rooms in a central location

The photos online don't make the hotel look as nice as it is. The music theme is carried through out the hotel, with album covers in the elevator and a variety of music playing. Our room on the 13th floor didn't have a spectacular view - we looked into a car park and up at office building - but the room made up for it. We appreciated the seating area, large bed, and the nice shower. The area was also extremely walkable to the boat tour we took and the navy pier.

No free coffee in the morning, but the coffee shop in the building is pretty good!

Central and comfortable

Great location near public transport and the city centre. Very nice bar. Helpful staff. Good bed and shower.

Some issues with noise from inside the building. Some toiletries missing from room.

Payment issues.

Room was clean and comforable. Hotel in a great location for the sites.

Need to sort out payment issues. Wasn't told until I arrived there was a 100 dollar deposit charge. Annoying but I could live with it. I had to make payment for the room and the deposit on check in, which was fine. I tried to make payment on two different credit cards several times while two different staff members insisted there was something wrong with my card(s). This was despite the fact that I could show them on my online banking app that a payment was taken from my card. Their system wasn't showing a payment so they wouldn't accept what I was saying. It was only when another guest arrived and they were also having trouble taking his payment that they accepted it was their system that was the issue. Not a great start. On checkout, instead of just refunding the 100 dollars deposit they (without telling me), charged my card AGAIN for just the room. So I was left with TWO pending charges of several hundred dollars against my card, had to contact them twice to release one of the charges which they did do but it took days which wasn't good as I needed the funds available on my card for the second leg of my holiday. It was a good stay in general but these type of amateur issues are really not acceptable from a hotel.

An exceptional vision of contemporary a comfortable, efficient hotel environment.

Tall ceiling rooms, blackout curtains, quiet location, original art work painted on walls of many communal areas, mannequins trapezing across the air ways, comfortable beds, warm and helpful staff, great location, parking next door.

Great location, great bar and good value for money

Room was bigger than expected for a US hotel. Nice room was some unique details. The bar at ground floor offers a great selection of cocktail. Bartender offered to create a cocktail based on our favorite spirits which was great. Food was also very good. Location was great as well to explore Chicago. It is located in a lively neighborhood with plenty of bars and resturants close by. ...all in walking distance of 5-10 min

Very central and convenient

The location is excellent, very central, close to good eating spots, walking distance to major attractions. Strong wi-fi. The little caffee downstairs serves excellent croissants and scones and the entrance from the lobby is very convenient. The beds are comfortable. The window opens, so you can let fresh air in.

There is no coffee-maker in the room, so bring your own kettle if you can. The room does not promise a view, but what it actually means is that the window looks into the inner courtyard, which is a well 10 floors deep and about 4 m by 4 m wide. But the main problem is the parking. Yes, there is a parking garage next door, which costs $60 per night. To make it $35 as advertised, you need to ask the reception for a voucher. We did not do that until the end, because the guy that checked us in forgot to tell us that. Even then we could not make the machine to accept the voucher. Be ready for some extra time to haggle with the machine, and then to press the button and persuade the people on the other side of the line to lower the price for you. We did not have that time, so we paid $60 each night, which added $100 to the expected cost.

Okay, good location but more hostel like

The rooms were spacious, location was good to all amenities including a large grocery store opposite the hotel, A train station was very close by and it was it a good part of town. The room also had a small kitchenette and microwave oven if required. A bar was also downstairs

Not my cup of tea, the front area was very dark and dinghy, when we first pulled up i thought it was the wrong address didn't look like a hotel at all, almost hostel like, entrance was not inviting the staff were not very friendly, i had already paid and was asked to pay again ( still waiting for the credit to come through ), no breakfast facilities, also a laundromat downstairs, only one washing machine n dryer available for ME it was more like a young persons hotel.

loved that it was quirky cool, really nice friendly staff, awesome location.

comfort lacking - bed was really haaaaard and uncomfortable, so were the pillows. Walls quite thin too could hear other guests slamming doors getting home late etc
