Very clean with alot of charm , great breakfast!

Bedroom was comfortable, but lacked outlets for charging phones. Breakfast was wonderful. We have no desire to go back to Canandaigua. It was too built up, It's not that we wouldn't return to Bella Ella, we just don't want to return to Canandaigua. We loved our dinner at Simply Crepes on the main business drag.
See above.

it’s so peaceful here! It’s such a wonderful escape with a lovely pond in the backyard and a perfect porch with rockers for the evening or for enjoying the delicious breakfast served! we love coming here as a quick weekend escape! It’s the perfect spot to retreat after a fun day in Canandiagua or Naples and the owners are just kind, exceptional people!

Breakfast was NOT a full country breakfast, soggy egg& sausage wrap (McDonald's is much better), stale boxed donuts & sliced grapefruit.
The host actually when into our room while we attended a concert, turned off the a/c and the light I left on. Room was very hot, stuffy and dark.
I returned, turned on the very loud a/c and barely slept.

The location was great, very quaint and decorated nicely with antiques.
The room was upstairs with a window air conditioner that needed to be turned off when you leave the room, as well as all lights. All lighting is dim, which is okay but not for all people. This is not a handicap friendly home. My husband had a hard time walking on the stone sidewalk which was uneven and climbing all the stairs.

Breakfast was very nice and catered to our schedule.
Lovely architecture and furniture with radiant heating.
Quite warm in the room but host adjusted temp for second night.
Hosts entered our room without us knowing while we were away.
Bed was not as comfortable as hoped for.

Breakfast was ample and lovingly prepared and presented. Also the host kindly agreed to provide it 30 minutes early to enable our earlier departure. The property has beautiful woodwork and fascinating decor and is squeaky clean.
It would have been nice to have been asked any dietary preferences in advance so breakfast could be adjusted e.g. for non-meat-eaters. And there probably could have been more power outlets in our room.

Food was amazing. Plenty of room. The jacuzzi bath tub was so luxurious. There were so many little touches that made the experience special.

The breakfast was relaxing and delicious. We had the living room to ourselves. There was plenty of choices, with a hot entrée, coffee, juice, fruit, etc.
It was very hot in the house.

It was very cozy and quiet; just what we were looking for. The location was convenient and has nearby restaurants and attractions.
I enjoyed it all.

I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at Bella Ella! I chose the room for the spa bathtub which was amazing. The entire place was super cute and had lots of "old" decor for a lovely ambiance and aesthetic. The owner called me an hour or so before my stay to let me know how check in worked, which I appreciated. The Ella room I stayed in was large and very cute. There was a desk, a vanity, a fireplace, and a few places to sit. I did not use the TV, but the wifi seemed pretty good; I streamed a live show on my laptop. The bed was a little outdated, I think, but I am a terrible sleeper anyway. LOTS of pillows! The owner answered my texts timely and was very helpful and kind! Good location; no more than 10 minutes from the main parts of Canandaigua (main street, CMAC, food and shops etc)
I would have liked some room darkening curtains as the lights outside shone in a lot. I voiced this to the owner who was very receptive to feedback and very kind.

Breakfast was AMAZING
I know it's an older house but, I will there were more outlets. Also, the bed should be turned so it is facing the tv

Breakfast was spectacular every morning. Add the fact the location is quiet and out of the way, but still within driving distance to anything you'd need in either Victor or Canandaigua NY. Staff is wonderful and always made sure we were happy with our room/stay.

Beautiful home. Reminds us of my Mom's B&B. It was our 31st wedding anniversary and this stay made it special. Looking forward to our next stay
Not meeting our hosts personally. I'm sure it was a way of dealing with the pandemic. We will meet next time.

A very relaxing place to stay after a busy day of working. Very comfortable bed, nice linens, nice bathroom with extra supplies.
There was a lot of street lights from across the road and no shade to block it out at night. Hard to get to sleep.
Delicious breakfast, but I enjoy a healthier yogurt, granola, or oatmeal option. Not used to richer foods every morning.

very good location and easy to get to downtown Canandaigua and the lake.
Room was a little dusty and not enough room for toiletries in bathroom.

Location, some of the decor was super cute.
Just wanted to share our experience. We were underwhelmed by the room size and amenities. The booking page said it was a 250sq ft room w a private bathroom, and that rooms w private bathrooms have a fireplace and bathrooms w a jetted tub. We booked thru booking.com, so there weren't different rooms types listed.
We were put in a room and told the bathroom was across the hall thru a door. That was disappointing because we had to get dressed each time we went to use it. The tub was a regular tub.
Like other reviewers, the lighting was very dim at night, and the metal springs in the bed made rolling over in between the cuckoo clock going off even worse.
Next, the room was 15x9, so only 150 sq feet. very small from the 250 Sq feet in the advertisement. We were in town for real estate so we actually had a tape measure on us.
Lastly. there is a very loud cuckoo clock outside the room that went off at the top of each hour, waking us up EVERY TIME. I messaged the host but it was 3am at the time I finally had enough of the rough night sleep.
In the morning Iet the owner know everything and she was appreciative of the feedback and changed the listing to not have a bathroom, adjusted the size to 150 Sq feet, etc. I have screenshots of them with the original advertising.
Although the home was quaintly decorated, and the owner seemed cheerful, had we known there was no private bathroom en suite, and the room was super small, we would not have stayed here. We travel often and this was one of our least favorite stays at B n B's
The owner did contact me offering a free night next time we are in town which is very gracious. I'm just not sure this is what we would use. Nevertheless it was gracious. The home has charm.

A cute B&B located in a quiet area outside Canadaigua.
While we communicated with the owners before our arrival, we never actually saw anyone during our stay here. The breakfast was not very generous. In addition, the room we received was quite tiny. And contrary to our expectations, it didn't have an en suite bathroom. Hence, we had to get dressed to go to the bathroom, which was located down the hall.

The location was close to the lake.
First of all we never met the host. She never approached us during our two day stay. The host was gone all day and there was no coffee or tea or water or ice or anything left out. The breakfast was minimal and it was the only time we had anything to drink. It was a terrible experience and we will never go back. There was also another couple staying there and they also couldn’t believe how disgusting it was that the host never had the decency to introduce herself. We booked this bed-and-breakfast because of the good reviews we read online. Unfortunately we didn’t have the same experience and find it difficult to believe a bed and breakfast host would never interact with her guests. This is why we chose a bed-and-breakfast over a hotel, so we would be in a more comfortable atmosphere. It’s unfortunate that this host found it necessary to keep to herself and not provide her guests with at least access to coffee, tea or water.

Breakfast was good. We were told it would be ready at 8:00 with a text. At 7:45 we were text that it was served.
Room a tad small
