What you pay is what you get

Apartment is in a new building, very spacious and has a lot of light considering it is on the ground floor. Neighborhood is safe and relatively close to the old town (approx. 20 min walk). There are a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby but have in mind working hours - if you arrive late or early all of these could be closed. Alessio who is responsible for the apartment was really helpful and responsive. There is a parking place in the building yard which you can use if it is free. WiFi works well.

There should be more effort put into preparing the apartment for guests. It was borderline clean - no major issues but just with some dust and stickiness where you would not expect them. Sheets, covers and towels were clean but old and washed so many times that it makes you doubt whether these are old and clean or just plane dirty (some patched holes on sheets too). No thick covers so we had to ask for them after freezing for a night. Lightbulb in the kitchen not working on our arrival. Alessio, the host, resolved all this - brought fresh towels, brought new lightbulb, brought thick covers but we had to ask for all of these - it would be much easier for us and for him if we had it all prepared before our arrival. Being on a ground floor apartment is very humid - consider this if you have any breathing problems. The whole apartment has a smell of mold (especially in the bedroom) which would not go out even with windows open. Because of humidity, towels or swimsuits will not get dry overnight which is a problem. Only one roll of toilet paper. At the end - considering the prices of these type of apartments in Lecce (which are higher) - what you pay is what you get.

Great place, strongly recommended to families!

Fantastic location, lovely flat for families with young kids, very well organised. The host was helpful, great at communicating and quick at sorting out things for us.

Would have appreciated more towels. But it's a minor thing.

Great stay at New suite Lecce

Alessio is a great host, attended all our requests and it was easy to communicate before and during our stay. This is my second stay at his place in Lecce and I would definitely come back. The apartment is close to Lecce old town, there is a parking option which is convenient if you need a car to travel around Puglia. There is a great pasticceria and gelateria closeby as well as supermarkets if you need to shop. The apartment has a kitchen in case you feel like staying in. Overall great.

Best value for money, pretty close to the city center, yet not the train station :)

A good place for a couple (with 1-2 kids) or for two couples, since there are two bedrooms. We loved we could wash some clothes - great when you travel from one city to another for a week or longer, esp. during scorching weather. The owner or the property manager let us in (to drop our luggage) a few hours before the check-in time - much appreciated.

For people on a budget, who might prepare a snack at the place or simply buy a watermelon and want to cut it easily, a big, cooking knife would be helpful.
