We loved staying at the Taj, a fantastic hotel with great staff and facilities!

A modern luxurious hotel with a grand lobby and lovely decor. There was live piano playing in the lobby which was a nice touch, all the staff were very helpful and friendly and we received flower garland around the neck on arrival, it was a lovely experience. Food was good at the restaurants and overall oit was a comfortable stay. We had breakfast included as part of our package, and it was great, fresh dosa and pancakes, fruit and a great selection of everything you might want, staff very friendly and helpful also.

A small gripe, we enquired with concierge about booking us a taxi to take us to the airport and we were quoted 4000 rupees (£40), so we ended up taking an uber instead for 400 rupees (£4), we knew that it would cost more if the hotel organised this for us, however we were surprised at how much more it would cost for the hotel to arrange. Other than that, we loved our stay at Taj, and will love to stay there again.

It was good and comfortable, overall good experience and value for money

There was no warm water, and the water in the bathroom was not very clean. Additionally, there was a slightly longer waiting time for breakfast.

Aryan Saxena was very apologetic when he realised we were compromised at hotel with problems there...that was nothing from my end...I liked his offer of dining room as peaceful gesture to make everything fine 🙏

Relaxing and pleasant stay

Property is at a great location with lush green surroundings. We had lunch and breakfast at the property in capital kitchen. Food was good with balanced taste and wide variety. We were travelling with baby so we asked for some baby food and Amit organised khichadi and curd rice for our baby. He was very helpful. Big Kudos to Amit. Would definitely visit Taj again

The staff , Komal, at the reception, was very very kind, helpful and cordial.

After a visit from Singapore, the hotel’s lobby, reception and room was so relieving and it made us so proud about our country n hotel and its beauty n hospitality . Thanks for everything.

Good but a bit charmless

Clean, varied breakfast and good location. Really decent hotel.

The hotel and the staff holds itself high. And yes the place is quality but divert sometimes into a cool stiffness. Could use a little bit more of a humble warmth. Too many floor employees doing to much in the wrong time Reception sometimes crowded.

Great Stay, Created good memories.

Staff was very professional and cooperative. I had toothache and couldn't chew the food. Requested if I could get a smoothie and I was served with a very delicious and nutritious smoothie and the staff recommended a pain killer medicine available over the counter, which was very effective. I couldn't ask for more.

Great hotel with excellent service

We arrived early in the morning and they managed to arrange early check-in with no additional payment, which was great. The rooms and the hotel overall are great. We had a really nice view towards the pool from our room. The hotel is located in a nice area of the city.

The restaurant (capital kitchen) is very good, but quite overpriced. The room we had booked was expected to be for 4 people, so I expected something like 2 double beds, but we only got one double bed and an additional bed, so the kid had to sleep with us on the double bed.

Oasis in Delhi

We spent 3 lovely days at Taj Palace during our visit to Delhi. The food and accommodation were excellent, but it was the very friendly staff and other guests that made our stay memorable. We were greeted and welcomed by Roshi at reception. The breakfast was outstanding catering for Indian and international tastes. Albert and Pravesh in the restaurant/lounge and Lawrence on the piano ensured all guests further enjoyed the stay. Highly recommend it, the location is convenient to the airport and situated in a green & uncrowded area. Price is great value too.

We could only stay 3 days. It was a lovely refuge from the traffic and noise of Delhi.

The Taj Palace is NOT A 5 STAR HOTEL, very DISAPPOINTING!!!!!!

Awesome ambiance and welcome at reception. Breakfast was good.

Non-smoking room smelt of smoke. Two tiny single beds provided for 3 adults. Rooms and bathrooms require a renovation/upgrade. Outdated. The Manager tried to assist but not hard enough!! Very disappointing!!!!!!
