Ultimately, it is the people that make this place special. They are friendly and professional and go out of their way to provide the best possible service.
I am knowledgeable and concerned about sustainability issues and often critical of business practices, but I could not fault this place... at all. Their holistic approach promotes the health and wellbeing of their guests, their staff, and the environment. Truly a model for responsible living.

A beautiful setting close to the ancient Hindu temple. I appreciated the focus on educating guests about the animals, birds, plants and trees in this gorgeous park. The staff was warm, welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. The food was excellent too! A gem!

Great place to stay to see the waterfall and national park nearby. The hotel grounds are beautiful and they are raising orchards on the property. We had our own little cabin in the woods.
The meals included were good.
Our favorite feature is that they could arrange for us the trip to the waterfall, a night safari, and a morning bird observation walk.
Not a complaint but if you are afraid of bugs or lizards, the location may not be for you. Lots of geckos and spiders since you are in the middle of the forest.

Wow, where to begin? The staff were the best we have encountered in India, really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The jungle feel you get here is really special, along with the awesome natural pool. The sunset walk, the night drive and the temple tour all exceeded our expectations. Everything about Nature's Nest gets a 10 out of 10. Thank you, we'll be back.
The only part about Nature's Nest that we didn't like was leaving. Although I can't even really say that as all the staff gave us a wonderful farewell, they even gave us a fruit and honey hamper for our trip.

It was the perfect combination of relaxing and getting to know the goan wildlife on safaris. A great place for birding! There is lots of shade on the property to hide from the heat during the day. The personal is exremly friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it a lot. It was a highlight on our tour through goa.

Nice place surrounded by the nature. Cosy and friendly stuff. Breakfast was great.
No hot water at the shower. How did it even occur to someone to make hot water only in the tap, but not in the shower itself? We washed from a bucket. Was cold during the night due to portuguese roof and we had only thin fleece blankets at the room. No WiFi at the rooms. No electric kettle or something like that.

Staff are all exceptional. Really made the stay for us - felt really sad saying goodbye :)
Considering you are in the jungle, you have air con & warm shower etc (there's soap and shampoo) they have made it as comfortable as possible.
Tours are great! Staff knowledgable.
We actually really enjoyed the food too (after reading some other reviews on here)
*Bring your own mosquito net and string*
They do provide mosquito plug ins though
It was a very much welcomed break.
A great time of slowing down the pace of life!
breakfast is a bit limited.

Really cute right in nature. Bathroom is nice and clean and the place is as clean as it can be. I enjoyed my stay here. 2 days was enough for me. I really enjoyed hearing all the nature sounds.
I am glad I had my own mosquito net as stuff falls from the top - the place is clean but it’s like some putty from the roof that falls down. So my net kept my sleeping space clean. They need more choices on the menu particularly non carb veg food. You are “stranded there” — this is fine but the menu has to be on top for that. A variety also, I want to try in Goan Indian food it’s yummy but I also want other dishes too. The activity section is closed so the dishes needs to be on point. Avoid the zoo…. it’s not to do with this property but can be part of the tour (when other places are not seasonally available) — it made me really sad….

The surroundings are gorgeous, the birds, the small hamlets...The birdwatching guide is very enthusiastic and knowlegeable ,a great guy to expend the day with, although the price for one person is a bit too high. The pool,of natural running water ,is a completely underestimated facility. The food is also fine, with the exception of cofee,as it is often the case in India.
Well,I hate to have to say this, particularly because it involves the manager,a very kind and fine man with a great conversation and knowledge of his country. But let’s get to the point. When I arrived at Kulom train station I had to tale a taxi to the premises: 500IR for a 12 km. ride. Very expensive by all acounts, considering local prices. Anyway, the day of my departure I asked the management for a car to take me back to the same train station, asuming they would call a taxi for me. Instead,10 min. prior to my departure they tell me they will take me with their jeep and that the price would be 800IR!!! I comment with the manager that that price was scandalous and why was it so much higher than the taxi I had taken from Kulem. The answer was quite shocking: “ because it’s a jeep” And indeed it was: a derelict from IIWW,with no aircon,no roof and much older than the grandfather of the guy who invented airbags. Cute to go birdwatching,if you don’t have an accident, but not to give you a ride at the price of a limousine. An unfortunate way of letting your guests go with a sour taste, after such a lovely stay. And an strange lack of bussines vision in such an inteligent young man as the manager seemed to be.

The staff were great.. And the trek up to tambdi surla falls was fab ,
The birds at nature's nest are an absolute visual treat.
The trek to tambdi surla falls was wayyyyyy better than dudhsagar. Dudhsagar falls was packed with people. Nature ruined.
