There are plenty of activities you can do on the island. We did turtle feeding, turtle cleaning, snorkeling, fish feeding, kayaking, and experienced the traditional dance performed by the staff and the beautiful traditional signing as well. They did not charge extra for this. there are also weaving class and traditional food preparation. It’s a pity that bonfire was not scheduled during our stay. But we were lucky enough to see the dance and try lovo chicken.
The staff were friendly and made you feel home.
Not crowded at this resort so you can enjoy the peacefulness here.
Great for snorkeling in this crystal clear ocean water. I saw different types of fishes, clownfish, star fish and colorful big big corals!!
Food on the menu is not good. But we had a lovo chicken buffet (I do not know how regular they offer this though) which was nice 😊
For some reasons Staff on WhatsApp did not reply to my enquiries before I went there. I had questions about the boat transfer and it would be better if they can be clearer and responsive.

The location was stunning - beautiful beaches and water
The food was very ordinary - nowhere near the quality of the setting and the accommmodation
4.5
Absolutely love the stunning location, and our beach front Bure. We could literally go snorkelling straight off our own patch of beach in front of our Bure. Happy hour was amazing with half price drinks! The view from both our room and our hammock we're just incredible. Four days was perfect - beach walks, sunset, snorkel, drinks, turtle feeding.
Food and common areas weren't up to the same standard as the Bures. It just needs a little bit of a renovation, which I believe is in the works. It would be great if the sunset bar was open, but we were also happy to buy a few drinks from the main bar and walk down to watch sunset.

Didn’t take long to get to. We had great service from the lady in the spa, 1 male porter & 1 female server. Generally good service from staff in restaurant. Most of staff friendly
Broken things in the room - toilet roll holder, louvre arm, lock. Terrible service at reception throughout.
4.5
Rooms and bed very comfortable, aircon works perfectly
Nothing major, however the pool amenities could be better look after

Lovely to be welcomed by the staff singing on the beach; ditto for the departure. Also great that they have a little sing-song in the restaurant each evening at 8:15pm. It bonds the staff and gives a nice atmosphere to the guests. Great snorkelling, which was our main aim. And a beautiful 'typical' South Pacific island.

The food is great, nice variety. The staff is the best, absolutely amazing! They invited us to their Kava session, It was a honour to be part of these beautiful people’s life. We had the real Fijian experience and I thank them for that.
The water is calm and crystal clear, great for snorkelling!
Wifi in the rooms was not always working.
The restaurant prices were quite expensive, try to do the half-board package, more much convenient. Don’t expect white fine sand. The beach is made of dead corals and stones so beach shoes recommended. Would have liked to be offered scuba diving excursions (at an extra price) but ended only doing snorkelling, swimming and kayaking.

Private and peaceful. Absolutely delightful to have stayed at the resort. Gutted unable to stay for one more night for my husband's birthday.
I understand it's probably Fiji time, but the wait for our food was a bit longer than expected. However, making pre-order may make things a bit easier, especially with children, and you don't want to deal with hungry kids.

Location and facilities were excellent. The resort had a real family feel about it, and the staff were so lovely. Sammy remembered our names every time we passed him.

The island is a great place to go if you want to unplug and do nothing
Not their fault, but there were a lot of flies. Shower was not hot

Staff were amazing and so friendly! Learnt our names on the first day and made us feel so welcome. Vinaka!
Lots of flies, but was expected on a tropical island

location, staff, easy to get to

Everyone was extremely friendly. Nice bure locations.
We didn't have a hammock in our bure even though we were supposed to be. IPTV and the fan were not working. Food was changed without informing first (e.g. pork belly instead of pulled pork, Thai Beef Noodle salad without noodles, seafood pasta without mussels) even though stated in the menu completely different. Coffee tasted somewhat salty.

good location and design with the room
too many dead corol pieces on the beach which makes super uncomfortable to swim or dive. seems no one ever clean up the beach. Also pool organisation. last day we been wait for 1.5 hours for the private boat apparently they said wait for the fuel. excuse me surely you have a better organisation this should not be done on the day of leaving? no eta was provided no compensation so we have a short day

Would be nice a little more items on food menu

The staff just made this stay. They were all so friendly, accomodating and went out of their way to help you. They were always laughing and smiling, it was amazing. The rooms were beautiful and really clean. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend!!
Food and drinks are quite expensive but what you expect on an island.

We were extremely happy with our choice as the resort provided exactly what we were looking for:
- reasonable value for money
- small island with not a lot of people to get that private feeling
- calm and silent place
As mentioned by others, the staff is the absolute highlight and your relationship feels like between friends and not between customer and service provider. It helps that you are meeting the same people each day, on day 2 or 3 you are kinda happy to see them each morning.
The bures are perfectly adequate in what they provide. Beachfront view - the sea literally comes almost to your doorstep at high tide. The bathroom was fine, during our stay the hot water and water pressure was acceptable. Snorkeling right on the beach was also great and you can obtain masks and fins from the dive shack and keep them for the duration of your stay.
The food is also fine, everything we tried was good - from basics such as sandwiches and woks to one of the fancier fish meals.
There are small tiny inconveniences of course, but we put them down as part of the charm and characteristics of the place. If you are the type of person that can get his vacation ruined, because the meal you selected from the menu is not available then it is probably a good idea to look elsewhere.
The wi-fi can be a bit spotty, but this is communicated in advance and during our stay we managed to stream Netflix movie in our bure each night with very small service interruptions.
I would recommend to not wait until 10am for breakfast as the choices can be reduced, do not expect that you will have a full buffet few minutes before breakfast closing.

The staff is amazing. so friendly and helpful. The room is modern, comfortable and clean overlooking the ocean. Good quiet AC. Nice shower. Comfortable king bed. we were room 8. Room 7 is closest to the dining area. The food is generally really good with large portions. Really good snorkelling right out front.
Pretty much no good Sandy beach which was lost in a cyclone about 5 years ago. So many flys mostly just at breakfast time.

Bure was very clean and modern, there was free use of paddleboard and snorkelgear.
Breakfast was simple and could be more options.

Serenity Island is a secluded, romantic island with a fantastic staff that helps to make the most out of your stay. The food was delicious and the prices decent. Besides there are several possible activities, such as snorkelling with reef sharks, a small turtle sanctuary and even scuba diving is possible with an operator from an other island. I and my girlfriend had a perfect romantic stay with sufficient activities.
Nothing to complain. Just be aware that this island is still recovering from COVID and it's not posh standard. But it's a pearl which deserves a strong 9 in the rating.

An unbelievable place on earth, with a beautiful crew that will make you feel like you are in heaven. I have no words to thank so much kindness and dedication, I had one of the best holidays of my life. Absolutely recommend it!! Everyone on the island will smile at you all the time and will make you feel very welcomed. Stunning resort with a true fijian experience.
That I had to leave..lol

Everything!! Absolutely everything!!
Sometimes the wifi didn't work in our room, but we spent most of the time swimming so it was all goods

Everything. Authentic Fijian hospitality. All we were looking for on one Island

What we loved about Serenity Island was firstly and mostly the staff, Sami and the team where exactly what makes this place special . The peacefulness , the authenticity of Island culture and how you feel so welcomed. You can always find a quiet area on the Island to be at complete peace with no intrusion if you like, for the best sand, walk past the cabanas , If you want a place to stay without any frills this is it. I loved the snorkelling, the views from our Bure where just amazing. The islands entertainment from the staff is amazing also. My score of 9 is based on my overall experience of the holiday not the island itself. Vanaka .
It’s very sad that the staff work so hard but find it hard to keep on top of the basics for islands maintenance. It seemed like perhaps more staff where needed for the grounds, the cabanas are in need of cleaning up and re roofing , some new sun lounges wouldn’t go a miss either .the pictures could do with updating to reflect the true scene. The breakfast was quite poor selection but the dinners where fine. The owners definitely need to invest some money in the island for the basics , throw some bucks at it and get it to a better standard , the staff deserve to be able to be proud of the this island . Thank you to all the Harding working team of people.

Beautiful island that is almost untouched, we felt like we were on our own private island. The staff were amazing, super friendly, hardworking and entertaining.
We stayed on a beachfront Bure so we had direct access to the ocean, we could go snorkeling anytime of the day and we loved our private hammock. We also really enjoyed the beautiful sunset while sipping on some cocktails. This vacation was exactly how we wanted it to be.

We were full board and the food was great, for a small resort we didn't have the same thing twice (except for breakfast but there was a range of cooked items and continental). My husband and I are fussy eaters and were still spoilt for choices on the buffet. The staff are so friendly and great with kids. The island itself is so beautiful, we had a beachfront villa and it was incredible.
Towels we not changed daily, if requested new ones they were given a few hours later but not ideal when visiting in the wet season. We had to walk to the reception in the rain just for clean towels. WIFI did not work in the rooms again, in wet season it's needed when limited to what activities you can do.
2.5
Beautiful natural setting, nice accommodation, Kokoda was the best we’ve tried. Great snorkeling. Nice to be on an island, away from tourist hotspot. Felt very intrepid during wet season.
Unfortunately we had bad weather, which is not the resorts fault but it’s not the best place to stay when raining especially with young kids, ie not really equipped to deal with power outages, no wifi, no water, no effort to improve guests morale by creating activities for wet weather such as utilising conference room. Inconsistency, every day was a guessing game. A lot of sand has washed away, so not quite like photos. Staff did not seem to care about environmental issues such as boat load of plastic bottles that washed up and guests spent all morning picking up with not one resort employee helping.
4.5
gorgeous setting and wonderful resort on its own island
the charge to use the “red boat” (pretty much the only way to get there) is excessive
4.5
The island is beautiful and we enjoyed walking along the walking path that went around the island. The bungalow was lovely, clean and well kept. The food was wonderful apart from a very average breakfast.
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, but unfortunately we came across by rude behaviour too which was near aggressive.
