Vel staðsett í bænum, rólegt umhverfi, fallegt herbergi og öll aðstaðan til fyrirmyndar. Starfsfólk vinalegt og hjálpsamt.
Rúmið hefði mátt vera mýkra.

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Antonieta! I did a lot of research before booking a hotel, and this hotel kept coming up as one of the best hotels in Oaxaca. I'm so glad we stayed there. It is beautiful, clean, great food, centrally located and has a fantastic staff. They were very helpful with any thing we needed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Oaxaca. xx

Antonieta is a lovely boutique hotel in Oaxaca. We especially loved taking our (delicious!) breakfast on the rooftop terrace overlooking the city. We also enjoyed rooftop drinks, and dinner one night up there too - so convenient to just walk downstairs when we were done! The hotel aesthetic is beautiful, with high ceilings and lots of plants everywhere. The room itself was very spacious, with high ceilings and a large bed, TV and had everything we needed (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, hair dryer, robes, drinking water). The staff are very friendly and super helpful, and speak great English. They helped us to book a transfer to the airport. The location is good, within walking distance to lots of great bars, restaurants and sights. We tended to go to the rooftop for coffee/breakfast/drinks most as we loved it so much, but you could also enjoy a coffee/food at the Muss cafe attached to the hotel on the ground floor. Overall, highly recommend.
Overall we loved our stay at Antonieta, but wanted to share some feedback on the room itself. Many of the rooms open out into the shared lobby / courtyard, which means they aren't super private, and at times quite noisy. The only window in our room was facing this courtyard, so we had to have the curtains drawn at all times so that people couldn't see in, which meant that our room was quite dark / lacked natural light. For me, light and privacy is so important (for others, this may not matter as much), so we were less inclined to spend time in our room. The room we were in (two/dos) was especially bad for this. The rooms further towards the end of the courtyard would be better (and rooms upstairs with external facing windows and natural light would be much nicer). It wasn't a deal breaker, but recommend requesting a room at one of the ends, or upgrading to a room with external facing windows (unfortunately this was unavailable when we were booking).

I loved everything about Casa Antonieta. The location was close to the Zocalo, restaurants and shops, making it a great base for exploring. The property itself was stunning, and the rooftop terrace and bar was the perfect place to end a busy day. As a solo traveller with limited Spanish language ability, the team - especially Berenice - really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Can't recommend highly enough!
Nothing. It was the highlight of my trip to Mexico.

This was an excellent property that I would stay in again. The location was perfect for shopping, eating, and enjoying all the city has to offer. The staff was very helpful and professional and was on top of communication with us for everything we needed. The common spaces like the roof and downstairs lounge were also delightful- and the staff was amazing!

The location is lovely, right next door to the convent and textile museum. Quite and pleasant. Close to the major attractions but not on top of them.

Location is very central and convenient. Considering that it’s an old building it has been renovated really nicely and the style is beautiful. Breakfast was good and there was always fruit and biscuits and tea and coffee available at reception.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. We used their laundry service which came back perfectly and quickly though of course was more expensive than using an outside place.
Happy hour every day when we could have a free beer or wine on the rooftop was lovely.
It was our honeymoon and they gifted us a bottle of wine with a note when we arrived which was really sweet.
It is quite expensive, but it seemed like it was the best value in the area considering it’s a newer hotel and therefore felt very sharp and modern.
We switched rooms halfway through our stay (just due to availability, we booked it that way) and our second room was more expensive but as it was on the ground floor and an older room (they are still building rooms on the upper levels), it was quite damp. The style was not as nice as the upper level room and it had a terrace which was not really functional (two chairs in a small space which looked out into the rest of the hotel). We told the staff the room had a damp smell and they brought a brand new dehumidifier and were very apologetic so they handled it well, it was just a shame that we were paying more for essentially a worse room. So my advice is to try to book a cheaper room on the second level as they are newer and nicer!
