Excellent stay at Harewood cottage. This was our second time and we will happily return. Great location, facilities and very comfortable.

The whole cottage was amazing, the location was so peaceful.
A curtain between the kitchen and living room would be beneficial.

Everything it’s was stunning. Host was lovely.

Comfy, super handy kitchen, nice little touches from the host, private, pretty much in the middle of nowhere, super quiet, beautful walks from the doorstep.

We loved our stay at Harewood cottage. It was in the perfect location as it offered lots of nice walks, beautiful scenery and all your basic needs not too far away.
The cottage itself made our stay cosy and comfortable and was perfect in every way.
Thankyou Julia

We had a perfect 2 night stay.
Cottage was beautiful & immaculately clean.
Everything you could possibly need. We used it as a base to visit Alton Towers with our daughter & hope to return in future.
Lovely touches included wine on arrival, croissants, jams and fresh eggs for breakfast.
Thank you for a great stay !

It was exactly as pictured, clean, quaint, private and serene. We loved watching the puddle ducks running back and forth across the owners’ garden and made great use of the garden with a BBQ on day one and a small log fire on day one while it rained. We adored every aspect.
A couple of cellar spiders but a hoover supplied and we know they’re inevitable with a cottage.

Awesome location and lovely cottage. Straight forward instructions.
Wrong time of year to park under beautiful but messy catkin tree.

We really like the location of the cottage, feels so homely and how clean the cottage is. It has everything there, we also love the old wooden suitcase of games for some fun in the evenings.

well presented, comfortable, well equipped, spotlessly clean.

Spacious comfortable cottage. Good location for exploring the Peak District. Full kitchen for self-catering.
It rained constantly (not a fault in the property!)

Everything! Beautiful property full of character but clean and modern at the same time. Very cosy and welcoming. Lovely touch to have a bottle of Champagne and chocolate on arrival. The host had thought of everything.

The setting was nice and private, parking was secure. The cottage was well equipped. Owners were responsive to any queries.
The log burner did seem to result in a smokey odour which was unfortunate. And the upstairs wash basin didn't hold water because the plug lever hit the wall surface before it could seal.

The cottage was so cozy and clean and had such a homely feel to it. Julia was helpful and polite when we had some questions and our weekend break was absolutely amazing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully presented cottage. Everything was clean and organised. The host had put together a booklet of good routes and places to eat which was helpful. I’d definitely recommend this stunning cottage!

The cottage was so lovely. We loved the old style but it was so nicely done and luxurious inside with everything you could want or need with some great treats and touches too. The surrounding countryside was beautiful and just what we wanted to escape from the city and work life
There was no phone signal but this was a bonus for us as we could properly switch off!

Everything 😍.....We are frequent travellers & have stayed in some incredible places but this stunning little cottage (formerly a 16th century converted barn) is, without doubt, the most beautiful place we have ever stayed.
Staying here over the Christmas period made it even more perfect... Even if the weather was less cold & crisp and more drizzling and misty, it just made the cottage and the tiny hamlet of Grindon even more atmospheric.
The cottage has everything you could want or need and is SO warm & cosy. Perfect for 2 with the comfiest double bed and sofa. Plentiful hot water and fully equipped kitchen which was very much appreciated when cooking Christmas Day lunch!
The large woodburner was just the icing on (our Christmas cake!)......Idyllic it most certainly was ❤......And the addition of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree just added to the overall ambience. Simply can'twait to return.....
Only a minor observation but access to a washing machine/dryer would have been really helpful especially during wet & muddy weather....

Very easy to collect keys as Julia sent all information beforehand. It’s a very high standard of comfort and the effort made by Julia outstanding. Nearly everything is thought of and she has provided all the comforts you need. There was even a Christmas tree by the fire which made me so happy. Beautiful surroundings too!
Not the hosts responsibility but making the comment as Cling film was provided - Kitchen foil would have been good to line the oven trays with
