On arrival a very rude Irish man told us we had come to the wrong place, he pointed to the other hotel several yards away although he was able to give us the keys. I'm suffer from asthma so I was surprised how much cigarette smoke we could smell, I was coughing a lot because of this. The room was grubby, there was no handle on the window so we could not close it. Part of the carpet was wet. We didn't like anything about this place.
Everything, the place was dirty and full of cigarette smoke, the worst place we have ever been to.
2.8
Nothing
Smelled of cigarette smoke and carpets were filthy.
No heating in the rooms.
People shouting and screaming, police were called and arrested a guest. Was more like social housing accommodation.
Avoid
2.8
Lots of plug sockets.
No drawers
No microwave or fridge ( get that normally in my usual place for same money)
Room was too cold even with radiator on. Had to buy a heater
No hot water at the sink
Bed needed an additional cover
Wardrobe was very dusty on top
V little surface room to do work or prepare food.
2.8
nothing, disgusting rooms place smelled of weed everyday
place is awful
2.8
Bed was comfortable and bathroom was adequate.
It was quiet and we slept well.
Could have done with a bedside lamp.
2.8
Nothing;it was appalling in every way.
No staff no breakfast or cooking facility. Outer and room doors not secure and fire escape inaccessible. 3rd floor windows no safety catch. There was no shared public space, no reception. It was an hmo not a hotel in anyway. Blatant false advertising.

Very nice people are running this accommodation. When we arrived, they offered us cold drinks on a hot summer day for example. It’s located very central and near to the pier. Free parking.
A refurbishment would be appropriate, but it was half the price of nearby accommodations. So maybe you can’t expect the most modern and tidy rooms of Southport. For one night it was okay.

Was an easy check in that’s about the only good thing I could say
It smelled like cigarettes throughout the whole
Place the guests in the room next to us were extremely loud from 6am which meant we left the property early to go home I know it isn’t an expensive place to stay but still poor all round room was dirty no management onsite would not stay again
2.8
Clean and comfortable bed. Essentials in the room kettle, tea, coffee etc. Wardrobe
The shower was either freezing cold or scouldering hot

Location.
Dirty, noisy.

Close to the town centre. And dog friendly. We could park at the front. Only saw a staff member for about 10 minutes she was friendly and we checked in quickly. Nice towels and white bedding we had a bigger bed room and the bed was comfy.
The whole place needs painting and our shower didn't work properly we couldn't turn it down it was far to hot also the blind was broken. We only slept in the room just once night so it was OK.

Location
Unclean and uncomfortable, like temporary accommodation/hostel. Defo not worth £70 a night, wouldn’t pay a tenner
2.8
Found the Staff to be very helpful
Room We’re little bit dated but okay for the £49 for the night
2.8
Nothing
Room smelt damp and musty. Had flies in it. Used earbuds in cupboard also..
We didn't end up staying as we worried we would get scabies. So we left by 7pm

There want any breakfast
The whole place. It was smelling. not even clean.
The carpet and walls had stains everywhere. Lights in the bathroom. I walked out after 10 minutes. I gave the women the keys. She didn't care that we where leaving and shedidn't even apologise . Got no money back and had to pay for another hotel so avoid this place at all costs.
2.8
Clean and tidy
Was parking but was told we would be blocked in if we parked there in the morning.
Very limited room in the toilet/shower facilities.

Nothing apparently the previous users of the room we booked had a dog which soiled the room. It was still smelling when we got to the room, in fact the smell in the hall stairs and landing reeked of marujana , like it hadn't been cleaned for years.
As above, we did not stay we had to book a premium hotel up the road, this was the only available option.

Location was very good. Close to sea front and also close to town.
The owner/staff member was helpful in that we left an item of property in the room we were staying (no. 7) and when we phoned later in the day , after departure, she located the item and promptly put it into the post for us. Thank you.
The mattress was past its use by date and very uncomfortable. We didn't complain because we don't like to but being as we are being asked about the facilities I have to answer honestly.
2.8
Location. Big room. Bed comfy, large bathroom
Dirty and smelt moldy. Poor lighting in hallway, nobody to greet you, had to call.. no doors on wardrobe. Kettle leaked hot water over me as I poured. Toilet seat loose.
2.8
Staff friendly on arrival. Bed was comfortable. Location quite good
Property in need of upgrade and painting. Bathroom smelt and shower scalding hot and difficult to adjust.

We were visiting family and wanted a cheap hotel for 4 nights. It was cheap, £25 per night. It's central and easy to walk to restaurants, bars and shops. The bed was comfortable and clean towels, tea and coffee were provided.
There are two buildings using the same name and it was not made clear to us at the time of booking, or indeed prior to our arrival, which property we were staying at. It turned out that we had to check in at one building then walk a few doors down to the other. The room itself looked as though it was halfway through being decorated with different coloured paint on the walls in patches. There were mould stains in the shower. The corridors and hallway carpets were old and dirty. A pile of dirty towels stained with either blood or tomato ketchup remained on the floor behind the front door in the entrance hall for the first 2 days of our stay. There was a dog downstairs which barked between 4pm and 7pm every evening, possibly belonging to a member of staff. Other guests were also very loud during the night. It seemed they were leaving and returning
multiple times, banging doors and playing music.
A week before our arrival we had extended our stay by one more night as we had to stay an extra day to attend a funeral, but the best price they could do was £58 for the extra night. I understand that this is a VERY budget hotel and accept that £25 per night is reasonable for the low level of facilities it provides, however it is most certainly not worth almost £60 per night and I wouldn't stay there again even for £25.

Really good value budget stay, very helpful staff. I was two hours late arriving so nearly midnight, but they stayed up and around to let me in - it’s an unmanned place - and Sean even came out to look for me to check I could find the place. Really good.
It’s cheap and cheerful, nothing not to like so long as you bear in mind you are staying somewhere cheap
2.8
Price. We got what you would expect for the price.
The hotel was not the one advertised, we were put in another location.
2.8
It’s in a very handy location
Nothing, it was perfect
2.8
The hotel was closely located to the train station and local amenities. They were pet friendly which was a plus as I brought my dog along. There is also a pub just around the corner that caters to dogs as well with their own dog menu. For the price and a night stay it was pretty good value, would debate staying again in the future.
The walls were a little too thin, other residents staying came back drunk and you could hear the room next door which isn't the owners fault but as a heads up for anyone with children. Unfortunately we didn't get to choose a room and ended up on the top floor with a dog and there was nowhere really to take her that was close enough for her to vacate her bladder throughout the night/early hours of morning.
