About this apartment rental
Location Location Location ...
If you want to be close to the beach, don't want to rent a car necessarily and still want to enjoy everything the Caribbean has to offer this place is for you!
You are looking here at a beautiful big 1b1b with not only one but two balconies in the heart of Simpson Bay across the Atrium Hotel. The location is within walking distance to beautiful KimSha beach, the famous Bucaneer Beachbar, and all manner of other restaurants and bars. A big Supermarket and some really nice breakfast places are also close by, as is public transportation with local busses ...
At 125 $ a night it's a real steal. You get American satellite tv, free wi-fi and free pick up from the airport plus a bottle of whatever you want in the frig when you arrive.
It's a great place at a great location and you won't be disappointed, I promise ... And you are dealing here directly with the owner who lives 15 minutes away, not some rental agents or management company that you can't get on the phone when you need them.
Read the reviews and if you have any questions I will put you in touch with people that have already stayed there. So that's all the good news ... The bad news is that I am pretty picky about who I rent to. This is not a spring break crash pad. It is a solid, nicely maintained ( brand new bathroom, btw. ) place where I expect adult behavior and responsibility. It is a 2 person max. and I probably will not accept kids under12, infants and pets anymore. There's just too much damage liability associated with them and unfortunately I am speaking here from my own past experience. We also have a very strict "no refunds " policy. Don't book unless you already have your flights and know you are going to get here. Too many people book the best dates at multiple places and then cancel the ones they don't feel like going to later on. I don't allow that.
One last remark: please note that the apartment due to the location on a hill is not suitable for you if you do have a serious walking disability ... Also there is a dedicated parking spot for you right outside the apartment, but be aware that the steep hill might cause you a problem. I had guests who had no issue, but others has a bit of a hard time.
So now it is really up to you, comm'n down, bake in the Caribbean sun, take a dip into the turquoise ocean and enjoy fine dining and everything else our beautiful island has to offer, you're gonna love it !!!

We stayed two months in this VRBO and the apartment was clean and had a very comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. The unit is on steep hill and we decided to turn our rental car in because maneuver the steepness was

Location is within walking distance to many restaurants. You do have to walk back up the hill but it is not very far.

Good location near beach, food and drink. Unit has all the basics you need. We had a car which made all the other attractions on the island easily accessible in just a few minutes except when the traffic backed up. Sunsets on the Simpson Bay beach were spectacular.

Great location
The best aspect of this rental is the location. You can walk to the beach, restaurants, and bars fairly easily. A couple of times I grabbed a taxi in front of the many nearby hotels, which was convenient. There is parking right in front if you rent a car. As many noted, it is up a STEEP hill. I’m very fit and found the walk up a bit tiring.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything I needed to cook several times throughout my stay. Plenty of towels (bath and beach) and linens. And the washer dryer was very useful. The unit and Some if the furnishings are a bit on the dated side but everything was clean and functional. The dual balconies were amazing to spend mornings and evenings with coffee and wine.
The hosts are extremely friendly and responsive. They even gave me a ride from the airport and sent lots of tips about the area, where to get Covid tests for my flight, etc.

Great hosts!
Stefanie and Steve went out of their way to make our vacation great. Besides picking us up at the airport and treating us to dinner, they answered every question promptly and saved us almost a $100 in covid testing fees. We'll be back again!

Fun in the sun
The condo was a mere 5 minutes from the beach. Simpson Bay is the place to be. Beautiful beach, good for swimming and yacht watching. Grocery store close by with all you need. Hotel across the road to hook tours or get a taxi. Nice place to stay, well equipped kitchen and nice balcony.

Steven and Stephanie are wonderful hosts from taking us to dinner, grocery store and airport. The condo had beautiful views. The location was close to the multiple restaurants, beach bars and grocery stores. The bus is 1.50 and takes you to Maho beach or into Philipsburg. The beach was convenient- one block away. We have rented from VRBO before - excellent hosts. Would stay again.

If I could give Steven and Steph 10 stars I would ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My husband and I stayed at Steven and Stephanie‘s place in Simpson Bay For seven days this past December. This condo was everything as described and more.
Or host and owner Steven and Stephanie are terrific people they were attentive to Our every need. This condo has everything that you would need while staying on vacation. Steven and Stephanie are hands on owners. They maintain the property themselves and do a terrific job on the maintenance of the condo.
The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and the water pressure in the shower was wonderful. Views from the two Balconies are breathtaking.
They have dish network set up with a LARGE flat panel tv with a plethora of channels and addition to high speed Internet. There is also a washer and dryer which came in very handy.
You can see Stephanie’s touch in the kitchen it is very well stocked and the place is very clean.
We were situated close to everything beach, restaurants, A couple nice food stores And the best pizza since I left the East Coast New Jersey. There was also a very nice movie theater within walking distance of the condo.
We brought our golf clubs and played golf at the local course.
The golf course could use some TLC, Steven played a round of golf with us and was great company. We also had dinner with Steve and Steph.
When we arrived from the airport Steven picked up the cab fare. When we left he drove us out to the airport. This made use feel special. We own with several different timeshare companies but decided to go the VRBO route. I have to tell you, We have never been treated this well in any of our timeshares vacations and we didn’t have to sit through any owner updates or high pressure sales presentations!
Our Hosts made our trip so enjoyable.

Nicely remodeled with convenient location.
This Pelican Key condo was a great place to stay at a very reasonable price during my visit. Condo is well appointed and ideal for a single individual or a couple. Truly all you need to bring is hygiene goods as everything else is provided!
An abundance of restaurants and stores are a short walk away so staying local can be easily accomplished if you opt to not get a rental car. I would recommend a rental car to those who can't get around to well on their own as the condo is an upstairs unit and is located on a fairly steep hill.
Steven and Stefanie were incredibly hospitable hosts quick to answer any questions and available to address any issues that may arise (there were none during my stay). Would recommend this unit to anyone looking for an affordable conveniently located condo near many well known bars and restaurants on the island.

Beautiful place and great location!!!
Right from the word get-go, the hosts were amazing and extremely accommodating. As we were coming onto the island from a cruise, they offered to pick us up from just outside the cruise pier. Steph took us to the grocery store (she said she had to stop anyways!) and drove us right to the condo. We really weren't sure what to expect as Steve had been renovating the condo and we had seen pictures a couple of months before. The condo is gorgeous! It was perfect for the two of us. Everything was brand new, and our hosts made sure that if we needed something, to just ask and they would ensure we had it; but everything was there. The balcony was the bonus as it overlooks the Simpson Bay area and you can see the airport and harbour entrance. We spent a lot of time on the balcony. The location is perfect - close to the beach, grocery shopping, bus stops, restaurants, etc. But we do need to mention the HILL. It's a steep walk up but you do get used to it. Having said that, most of the residential streets in the area are just like that. I would highly recommend this condo and any other one that Steve and Steph have. They are such wonderful people and we truly enjoyed our trip and meeting them. Until we meet again! Maybe Steve will have those Ginsu knives for us next time ;)
