About this apartment rental

**FOR 2022: Beach renourishment (big beach). New coffee table, end tables, and nightstands. FOR 2021: New queen mattress and box spring, washer and dryer, and paint throughout. FOR 2019: New vinyl plank flooring throughout and fresh paint. Fresh paint outside as well.** Welcome to my family’s HOME away from home! This 1st floor (least amount of steps), spacious two bedroom, two bath condo features 4 sliders (2 overlooking the ocean and 1 in each bedroom) that let in plenty of NATURAL light! Well-behaved, groomed pets are welcome (additional fee) and RELAXATION is required!

The master bedroom includes an en suite with walk-in shower, queen bed, and balcony. The second bedroom includes two twin beds and balcony. The second full bathroom includes a tub with shower. The full kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and all the accessories. The washer and dryer is located adjacent to the kitchen. Off the kitchen is a big dining table that sits 6. PLENTY of room for sitting, eating, and RELAXING! The living area includes seating for 5 and the couch folds out into a queen size bed. The OCEANFRONT balcony is SPACIOUS with a bar height table and four chairs. You can people watch and see the waves hit the sand from the balcony.

There is a 40” HDTV with a DVD player in the living room, a 28” HDTV in the master bedroom, and a TV with DVD player in the second bedroom. Each TV is connected to cable. The house has wireless internet, FREE-WIFI. SPACIOUS parking for two vehicles. One spot is covered and directly under the condo. Bring your own sheets, linens, and towels. Dogs are welcome north of the pier all day, everyday. During peak summer season dogs are welcome on the beach in front of the condo before 9 am and after 5 pm.

The North End Carolina Beach Pier is located less than three blocks away and features the High Tide Lounge Bar/Pub. Located above the pier, beach goers may drive their vehicles right on the sand and pets are welcome YEAR-ROUND.

Also, not too far away is the Boardwalk (restaurants, shops, rides, games, and pier) featuring the EXTREMELY POPULAR Britt’s Donuts! **NOM NOM NOM**

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The location and beach access made the trip! The condo had enough space for our family. The only negatives things were the noisy tenants above us and not being able to adjust the thermostat. Using the kitchen a lot made it even hotter in the house. The porch could use some updates but the condo itself was nicely done. The mattresses were fantastic!

We were ocean front with a beautiful view. The condo was clean and neat with a lot of care taken to the upgrades. However, the floors sloped in places and had some soft spots. The kitchen is extremely small. Also, the owner requested not to turn the air conditioning down any lower than 72° and it was a bit warm making sleeping uncomfortable. I think some work on the compressor is needed.

If you are looking for a clean, spacious condo as close to the ocean that will accept dogs, this is the condo for you. We sat on the balcony to look at the ocean versus the beach just because it was that close. The condo was very comfortable without being so luxurious that you were afraid to sit on the furniture. The owner, Tim Byrd, was very responsive to any question I had, both before arriving and once we were there. It was fairly centrally located to most of the attractions, grocery stores, restaurants, and there was a dog park within 2 miles. The only possible downside was that all of the railings, on the street side of the 16 unit condo building were being replaced. This meant that there were construction workers there almost everyday. They were courteous but their coming and going in the parking lot caused our dogs to bark. Other dogs were also barking and ours did quiet down when told to. This is required for the safety of the building, but there was some hammering, etc. I would highly recommend this condo. Kerry

A short three day getaway to the ocean that checked all the boxes: on the beach, dog friendly, great view! Owner Tim was very responsive and helpful. The condo was clean, had a comfortable bed, a well appointed kitchen, balcony looking out at the beach and was convenient to all the amenities Pleasure Island affords!

Only a mile away from the Carolina Beach Boardwalk, yet far away from the crowds! A nice family friendly complex, steps away from the beach with views that are awesome!

As it seems many properties look much better online than they do in person, we were pleasantly surprised to arrive and find everything looking & smelling clean & fresh for our stay. It was perfect! The only inconvenience was having to bring our own linens and towels, as they take up travel space, but that stipulation is outlined in the contract, so we knew to expect it. Everything about the property was as advertised. We would absolutely stay here again!

The condo is not super fancy, but had everything we needed for a wonderful trip to the beach. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked for us to prepare food. Two full bathrooms was a plus. The location was perfect for us and we enjoyed the beach every day! Beautiful view of the ocean! We would rent this beach again!

Being able to walk out unto the beach or just watch the waves from the your balcony was pure heaven. Very nice beach condo, had everything that we needed during our too short of a stay. This was our first time staying in a condo in at Carolina beach. This is a 1rst floor condo so not many stairs, which for us was great! The condo sliding glass doors with outdoor balcony faces the ocean with a small balcony in the bedrooms facing the street. The living room seating and queen size bed were both very comfortable. Getting into the condo itself was very easy, which is much appreciated. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had and was great to work with. It was very clean, and well-kept. This is one of those places that you save so you know where to stay in the future. We look forward to planning our next trip!😊

Our second year staying at this property so it felt like home. It’s a lovely condo right on the beach, nice and quiet which is how I like it. Next door neighbor who lives there was very nice. Tim is a great host and always responds quickly to any questions. Beach has been expanded and is huge now, you can walk down to the pier even at high tide. Condo has everything you need and is nicely furnished. Wish it really was my home away from home. We’ll be back. Kathy and Ken King

We spent the most relaxing week at the beach. We enjoyed watching the sunset and sunrise from the covered balcony. It was quiet and clean in a lovely neighborhood. We would definitely stay again.

Location was great

The location was great, beach front steps from the sand. When we arrived my 10 month old grandson was so tired from being in his car seat all day he was ready to move around so we let him play in the floor while my daughter and son-in-law carried in our things. By that night my grandson had to have a full bath his legs were filthy from crawling around in the floor. Under the beds were terrible dust bunnies and things apparently left by previous tenants (old jar of face stuff, a pillow, trash) The dishwasher was full and we had to empty it. We never were able to get the tv in the second bedroom to work and the remote was missing the back. It was advertised there was a DVD player and we had brought some videos, there was no DVD player. The people above us had kids that would run through their unit and stomp and jumped around late into the night. I realize this wasn't the fault of the owner but it was not pleasant especially with an infant trying to sleep at night. As mentioned the location is great but that was about the extent of it.
