About this house rental

Prime Location 1 block from the beach, 1 block from the sound! This highly desirable main cottage home offers 3 queen bedrooms, one bathroom and a private outdoor shower. It has an additional attached 1 bed 1 bath with separate entrance if you need some private space for an additional fee! That is property 4235443 on VRBO. We are a streaming only home! We provide smart tvs for all your app watching needs! Free WIFI and flat screen tvs. We provide all bed linens and bath towels. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, microwave, cups, soap, and kitchen tools needed. We provide a washer and dryer in the home for your needs. You just have to show up with a swim suit and flip flops! The beach is on one side and the inlet sound is on the other! Perfect for the fisherman or the beach goer! We are just blocks from the boardwalk and the famous Britts donuts. Just down the street is the Marina with daily departures on fishing charters, sunset cruises, dinner cruises, and boat rentals.
Our home is kept in pristine condition and will be your perfect beach vacation!
This is the main home. There is a back cottage also on the property that a guest may rent. If you need and additional bedroom and bathroom you can rent for an additional fee. Perfect for extended families! We only allow 6 guest in this home. Children under 2 are included in our guest count. We DO NOT ALLOW PETS OR SMOKING.

This home was great for our family of 5, very cozy! The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and all cooking utensils, pots, pans, and gadgets. The location is perfect, very close to the pier and just 2 blocks from the beach (about a 5 minute walk). Julie was very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay again!

We were disappointed in our stay for a number of reasons. The amenity listing stated there was a beach view and a hot tub which there was neither. The unit has three bedrooms with three queen sized beds only, My husband and I had to sleep in separate rooms as he is a big guy, We simply could not sleep comfortably together. The TVs did not have working remotes, no batteries in the living room and drawer full of random remotes for TVs that didn't match the bedroom or living room TVs.

A short sweet weekend getaway with my fiance for a fishing tournament at Freeman Park and this house could not have been any more perfect. It was less than half a mile from freeman park and so clean, so cozy, so beachy! Our entire weekend was perfect!

This house was the absolute cutest! Love their style, cleanliness, and location. This property was well stocked in the kitchen with everything you would need and the property owners were extremely nice and responsive. 10/10 would recommend. Our son kept saying "so, same time next year?" The entire trip.

This is a perfect beach house for a family getaway. Completely equipped for littles-dishes, toys, etc. The kitchen is very well stocked. The furniture is cozy and the beds are comfy. Best of all its a very short walk to the beach. Its equipped with an outdoor shower for when you get back from the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

We had the most perfect stay at this home! My husband and I booked for our kids’ Fall break/Thanksgiving. The home is perfectly set up for families. Easy parking, quick walk to the beach. The kid friendly bedding was great (my 2 year old daughter loved the mermaid blanket!) and she enjoyed the little toy basket in the living room as well. This was the most well stocked rental kitchen I’ve ever used - perfect for cooking anything you could want. We’d book here again in a heartbeat!

We planned a short get away to celebrate our daughter’s 18th birthday! From scheduling, checking in & checking out, it was all so simple! Our cozy cottage had ample room for three teens & 2 adults. There was a short walk to the beach & only a couple of minutes drive down to the pavilion. Thank you so much for sharing your home & we had a wonderful stay in Carolina Beach!

This cottage was exactly what we wanted for a weekend getaway. It was fresh and clean and was more than ample in size for two friends. We spent almost an entire day out on the shaded front deck. The beds were super comfortable and we both remarked about how well we slept. There are restaurants and grocery stores within just a few minutes drive. We walked to the beach park and enjoyed walking along the beach. It was so relaxing that my friend wants to return and take her husband for a staycation. We were able to communicate quickly with the property owner via the app and we were welcomed warmly and told to be sure to let them know if there were any issues (we had none). Check out procedures were very easy. It was a great stay!

All in all, a solid spot to stay in Carolina Beach. By far, my biggest complaint is that the outdoor shower does not have a door or curtain. It would have been great to have been able to take a full shower in there to get the sand out, especially considering there is only one bathroom for three bedrooms. The guests in the rear property also have access to this shower (apparently), so we had to make sure our cars and belongings were out of the way for them.

We enjoyed our stay and the beds slept wonderful!! Julie was so pleasent and allowed us to check in a little early which was greatly appreciated!!! (This is for The Office )The place could have been cleaner the floors had not been swept or mopped. I had to sweep and mop. Please place a curtain over outdoor shower. There were also Security Cameras placed around property and I was not informed about these at anytime. One thing I Did Not Like a worker came in the property when we were not there to replace a mini blind that was broken. We were not informed at any time that anyone from the office would be coming to the house. It would have been nice to have known that someone is coming into the home because we had our personals laid out and even though nothing was touched it still would have been nice to be informed by text or call. ) IDEA..The MIL suite should have family or friends renting it not just random strangers considering the window opens to look out on the back deck leaving no privacy. Over all Nice place just needs to make some small adjustments. Thanks Julie

We were very happy with this property for our short vacation. The owner Julie was quick to respond to any questions we had before our arrival. The house, just a few minutes walk to the beach was super clean on our arrival and provided with everything a family might need - from kids toys and two TVs to all that you’d require to do your own cooking. All the beds were comfy and decor attractive. There is a large balcony with chairs at the front and a smaller one at the back with two sun-beds. The ground floor area where you can park 2 cars has a picnic table and a garden. There is a shower there also. We were three adults and three teenagers and there were plenty of spaces in and outside the house for everyone to find some privacy when needed. Highly recommend.

We had a family girls trip and it was such a perfect little spot for three of us! Close to the ocean and public access and not too far from the boardwalk (1.5 miles). We even extended our stay last minute and were super excited it worked out! We appreciated Julie’s quick responsiveness and flexibility.

Our stay was great ! Amazing location a 5 min walk from the beach ! It was so easy to throw our toddlers in a wagon and be on the beach so quickly !! The house itself was nice, clean, and had an amazing balcony . The outdoor shower was very convenient. The communication with thr owneer was great. We had a little trouble with the tv and the owner made sure we figured it out! Thanks for the great stay !

We had a wonderful night relaxing with friends on the porch and making a delicious breakfast in the morning. The beach was only a block away, and Freeman Park was only a few minutes drive. Perfect location and the unit worked great for 3 couples.

As soon as we walked in the door, our kids noticed the basket of toys in the living room, which allowed us to unpack so quickly. Check in was super fast, I called the host and she gave me easy instructions. The house is clean and there’s lots of dishes, kitchen appliances (toaster, coffee makers etc), towels and blankets. The beach access is a very short walk and the neighborhood was fairly quiet. During our stay, there was some sort of pipe work being done at a house close by but it wasn’t loud, it just stopped up a portion of the road. The only (sort of) downsides of this stay is there’s only one bathroom and it is a duplex so the parking area is shared. I would definitely stay here again especially because our kids loved it so much! Make sure to bring some laundry detergent and kitchen scissors (if you think you’ll need them - we couldn’t find any in the unit) and any condiments or spices/herbs you may need for cooking.

This property is very clean, comfortable and within walking distance to the pier and Tiki bar. Three queen beds made this a perfect getaway for three couples. What a lovely deck for relaxing after sightseeing! Be aware there really is only one bathroom though. There is an outdoor shower. Bring your own bath supplies such as soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Everything else was perfect!!

We had a great stay and really appreciated the proximity to a very nice beach, but were very disappointed that the property did not have two bathrooms as listed. There is one bathroom and a semi-private, semi-functional outdoor shower. If you scroll all the way to the bottom it does say 1 bath 1 outdoor shower, but as it is listed as a 3 bed 2 bath we assumed there would at least be another toilet. The outdoor shower is convenient for washing up after the beach, but is definitely not the same as another bathroom. The space was large enough for the six of us, but having to share 1 toilet and take half of our showers outside was not the experience we were expecting.

This beach house was super clean and had such a happy feel with the whimsical decor ! We had everything g we needed to make our “sister time” perfect! Details such as electrical cords to charge your phone at night in all bedrooms to a kurig coffee pot made our stay just perfect !

My only complaint is the road is in need of repair on Canal Drive it is also noisy especially barking dogs. The house was very clean and nice. My only suggestion is to get more comfortable beds.

We call ourselves the Sunflower Sisters. We meet at Church and have become close friends. A couple years ago we started going to the beach together. Just a girls retreat. This property is beautiful. It looks just like the pictures, it is bright, clean, and just a block from the beach. Like a home away from home!
