8 FINS Lodge is a beautiful NEW home on 5 acres, backs up to Caribou-Targhee National Forest with a small spring creek & pond on property. This Lodge can accommodate up to 10 people - 8 people is ideal - with four bedrooms, each with a full bath, queen and twin beds, and desktop for fly tying or laptop workspace.
The open concept Great Room features a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator with icemaker, oven, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, coffee & tea pots, pots/pans, etc.), room to prep & cook, a bar that will seat 4 and a beautiful wood dining table that will easily accommodate 8. The living space includes a large leather couch, swivel leather chairs, a recliner, and a large flat screen TV over the gas fireplace. Wifi is also included. The mudroom includes large capacity washer & dryer and sturdy wood bench. Hooks next to the back door to hang fishing waders.
The wall of windows and French Doors at the end of the Great Room offer a beautiful view & access to the meadow that leads to Blue Spring Creek. The full-length deck can accommodate your group from dawn to dusk.
As the sun comes up, enjoy your morning coffee and watch the bird life flit around the meadow. As daylight fades, settle into a deck chair with your cocktail. Embrace all that Mother Nature has to offer on this beautiful property.

We came out to explore Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons for my 50th birthday. The house was amazing and perfect for 8 females since there were 4 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The house was spacious and immaculate. The location was beautiful near two state parks and Yellowstone. The house was open and inviting, perfect for entertaining a group. The kitchen was large and had all the amenities you could need. Everything was well stocked. We loved that there was laundry available to us as well. Everyone loved the house. If I had to say one downfall was the proximity to the neighbors. In the description it made it sound much more secluded than it was. Knowing we are a large group that can be loud, we really wanted that seclusion so not to disturb anyone. Otherwise, it was perfect!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property! Nestled in a secluded setting close to the highway, it was the perfect accommodation for our family gathering. The cabin/home was ideal for me, my husband, our adult children, and young grandchildren. Each bedroom having a private bathroom was incredibly convenient for our group. The spacious kitchen and great room were perfect for cooking, playing games, and watching TV in the evenings. The 30-minute drive to West Yellowstone offered breathtaking views. We highly recommend this place—10/10!

Great stay at well-stocked property
Truly one of the best stocked (of many!) rentals in which I've stayed. We bought extra toilet paper and paper towels because most have enough for a few days, but not a week. Not needed! Very comfortable beds and black-out shades made for great sleeping. Nice, open living space and kitchen. We cooked a few nights and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a muffin tin.

Perfect for 4 couples.
The home and property is exactly as described. It is new, beautiful and in great condition with everything we needed. All the bedrooms are identical except the front bedroom next to the kitchen has a tub/shower combo while the rest have walk-in showers. We all thought the beds were fine. It was right at 35 min to the Yellowstone entrance and a beautiful drive into West Yellowstone, which is a cute little town. We saw a fox and moose on the property. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Fantastic Stay
The property is about 27 miles from the West gate of Yellowstone in a quiet neighborhood with nights that are full of stars. Great place for 8-10 people with 4 identical bedrooms and a central great room for hanging out. Perfect for a large family or friends gathering.

Great Yellowstone Base
Just left 8 Fins after a 3 night stay. Great base for two full days in the park. Plenty large enough for our group. Each bedroom can comfortably sleep 3 and each has its own bathroom. Plenty of kitchen equipment. We cooked breakfast and dinner during our stay. We even had a couple of deer outside our window one morning. Loved this house!

Perfect place to stay in Island Park
This house is how I wish all VRBO houses were set up. Extremely clean. All the rooms are the same and they all have full bathrooms attached. No sharing bathrooms with siblings :) It's an excellent location, close to fantastic fishing and west Yellowstone. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Luxurious getaway
We had a wonderful time at 8 Fins Lodge. Diane had all our needs met and satisfied to ensure a most comfortable and luxurious stay. The bedrooms were spacious and airy, and the dining area was beautiful and large. I believe the video did not do this Lodge justice. It is much more beautiful than that. Super clean. Very well appointed with everything you need. Stayed here for a few days at midpoint of a long road trip. Showers were hot, beds were very comfortable. Tons of room for nine of us to spread out. Tons of outdoor fun right nearby- Fishing, hiking, swimming in the river. Restaurants nearby. Overall- A+

Loved 8 fins
We traveled with our adult children, grandparents and an infant to stay at 8 fins. The cabin is beautiful with a large deck in the front and back of the house. We were especially interested in this property because it was all one level. There are 3 steps up to the back deck but other than that no other stairs. Our youngest son is in a power wheelchair and this was as close to accessible as we could find. We brought our own ramps to get him onto the deck and then from that point on he could go everywhere we did in the house. The kitchen is very large with lots of cabinets and a huge fridge. We all used the washer/dryer at least once when we were there and it was huge too. We all loved having our own rooms with adjoining bathrooms and windows that opened to the breezes during the day. Our only minor complaint was that the beds were not terribly comfortable, but aside from that, the perfect cabin for us! We would definitely stay here again!

We were all taken aback when we found out how remote and far 8 FINS / Island Park was to Yellowstone West Entrance, but 8 FINS' accommodation, quality, cleanliness, and by it fully stocked, more than made up for the long drive and remoteness of the property. Peaceful, spacious, relaxing, well appointed
We had a fantastic time in this beautiful property! The spacious great room with towering ceiling was a fantastic place for all 9 of us to gather and enjoy the evenings. 4 bedrooms each with full bath and a powder room provided a perfect combination of privacy and togetherness for our group of 9 including two couples, young adults, teens, and toddlers. We even spotted a female moose bedding outside the front door!
Thank you for having it so well stocked with sweet smelling firewood (hickory?) cut and ready, gas and lighter ready for the grill, even dish soap and laundry detergent were ready to go!
Only critique/suggestion would be considering A/C. Only time we noticed any road noise was when we were sleeping with windows open to cool (in fairness, it was >90 degrees during our stay, doubtless rare in Island Park area).
Great location in an amazing pocket of country! Situation permitting, we'll definitely be back to this cabin!

In the Middle of Majesty

We had a great week at 8 Fins Lodge in Island Park. The property is incredibly well situated; we enjoyed walking in to Trout Hunter and down to the river everyday. The home itself was spacious, clean, updated and well appointed. We appreciated that every room has its own bathroom, making it perfect for our extended family. We would definitely book this home again.

Location, Location, Location.....
If you are heading to the Henry’s Fork there is not a better place to stay than the 8 Fins Lodge. Less than a 1/4 mile from the Box Canyon take out boat ramp, this home / lodge provides a perfect location for your fishing needs. 8 Fins was perfect for our group of 8 men. There are 4 bedrooms, each having a queen and a XL twin bed. Additionally each bedroom has its own full bathroom. Which is a luxury we are not use to. The living space is very open a spacious and comfortable. The Kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessities all you need to bring is your food and beverages. We did run out of propane for the outdoor grill, I sent email to the host and within minutes some was there with a full tank - Wow super impressive. Again if you are looking for a base camp for fishing and or sight seeing there is not a better, more accessible, comfortable home than the 8 fins lodge.
