the location and the beds
The building was not in a good condition. The apartment smells very bad moulin. Not stable flooring, dirty doors, quit old furniture. The second shower was very small. In general for that price needs to be well renovated.
4.1
Location was convenient to shopping, restaurants, and attractions. The apartment was well furnished. Fresh flowers in the rooms made it very welcoming.
it was difficult to rest at night because of the noise from the pub, the other tenants being loud in the hallways, and the street noise.
4.1
the location was great, it was a short walk to old town and conveniently located to restaurants, bar, grocery, you name it.
above and abandoned building and was smoke filled. I had headaches sleeping there and our clothes sleeper so bad when we left. The street noise was so loud and street lights so bright it was hard to sleep. The one shower pressure was so bad and stopped working. there were no directions on how to work anything. My son begged me ever night for me to book a hotel and not stay there, my husband named it ‘The Jail’

location
the apartment and main entrance stairs to the apartment had a strong smell of fire almost as if there has previously been a fire? All our clothes smell which we aren’t happy about! The lounge area only has a 2 seater couch for relaxing when there’s 6 of you the other 4 have to sit on dining chairs which after a day out sightseeing isn’t very comfortable. The towels were dirty and some had stains on them. The curtains weren’t thick enough and let loads of light in. The apartment could do with double glazing as you can hear every noise outside.

Really great accommodation. We were a group of 7 women travelling for the Christmas markets. Only 10-15mins walk from Princes street. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The heating stopped working on our second day and Cicily promptly had it fixed for us that same day once I messaged her. Great location. I would stay here again.
The front of the apartment doesnt look very appealing but once you get inside its perfect.

The apartment was nice and central to everywhere we visited.
Although it's an older building, everything seemed to be working ok for us.
Great heating system (hive) easy to use for everyone!
The large shower in the main bathroom was very good.
Nothing to complain about. But if you're a light sleeper like one of my friends then I'd recommend earplugs as the bedrooms are facing out onto a taxi rank so can be loud at night (we were just there over a weekend) but you'd expect that level of noise in any central Edinburgh location.
We didn't use the shower in the small bathroom, so can't comment on it. But it looked quite small.

Location, two bathrooms and everything provided
More comfortable seats in living room ( only 3 seater sofa and dining chairs)

Lovely apartment and location was central to places we wanted to visit. Host is super-responsive, provided detailed information on how to access the apartment prior to our arrival
Even though we didn't cook, there's cooking utensils provided. Coffee, tea, sugar is also available
Hanging racks are also provided as there's a washer in unit. Host also provided a folder with information. Very thoughtful
Just a note: The shower unit in the 2nd full bath is extremely small. there are 4 of us, so that wasn't too much an issue to only use the main bathroom for shower. Since unit can fit 8ppl, this may be an issue for a bigger group

The location
Was in a very noisy area ambulances , party goers yelling and screaming late at night .
The floors and all of the doors squeaked a little oil would go a long way to fixing that. We also went half a day with out power. The hosts needed to top up the meter.

Brilliant location
It was noisy because of road works. The entrance area was untidy, and dark.

Lovely apartment, very clean.Had everything you need.Ideal location for eating, drinking, shopping etc.
A lot of noise throughout the night from the street. No double glazing on windows to the side of the street which didnt help.
No parking facilities

Great location, very clean with added bonus of essentials such as washing up liquid, coffee etc. Beds very comfortable and contact with owner brilliant.
Entrance to apartment not welcoming with confusion as number of apartment was missing from key box. Noisy street but that may be due to central location. Most annoying niggle was the reception to TV as it kept sticking which made it impossible to watch. Luckily we had a fire stick which saved the day as it would have been a nightmare as we had a 7 year old with us.
4.1
Very clean place and comfortable place to stay. So spacious and most of the attractions walking distance.

Really amazing value for money! So clean and everything you could possibly need for the perfect stay!
No a complaint it just goes with the central location but your ear plugs for the noisy street below that never sleeps!
